I agree. Just leave it at team awards and delegate it to the GMs/WRs

This. I would hate for awards to go away. It's another thing where the people that like it are silent and the people that hate it are super vocal.

i think awards finalists should be carefully chosen, and then the finalists fight each other with sticks to determine the winner

Do we really need full render graphics if that’s an issue? I’m sure just a nice looking template slide with player name and award would be fine

What if we pushed the awards show back a week? On the offseason schedule there is nothing happening the day after the DSFL draft, so how would giving the awards team an extra week or so effect the voting or gfx?

As someone who often complains about HoF, I can say with certainty that usually people who complain about awards are those who are salty they didn't win. I know it sucks to read all the criticism but you shouldn't take it too seriously.

I'm in agreement with this as well. It's a big part of making seasons impactful for players and teams that arent contenders for the title and while it may not be as popular as the ISFL draft, it's still a fairly large event in the offseason especially considering its held on a Wednesday night.
If we removed awards people would find something else to be salty and complain about so at least awards takes the hit for the rest of the league.
I think I like the concept of moving it back a week if that would help ease pressure on creating the gfx (or possibly giving an extra day or 2 for voting)
