Fix the media backlog and there's no problem in the bank, end of story. I've worked my butt off trying to resolve people's bank issues, audit their accounts, and going through their post history. I will not accept this problem being dumped on the bank. You are not denied trainging if you have incoming payments, but we just ask that you wait to buy gear. Everyone is treated the same in the bank so no one is disadvantaged by the bank. If media is being graded out of order then there is your problem. Sorry, but I'm not adjusting the bank to continue to allow this media backlog to be ignored! I am not blaming the bank. Of course I am blaming the media. But with the media being as crazy as it is, the bank shouldn't be enforcing this rule. It is silly. And also, what does that say about how the league is working together if bank and media are not able to work together to come up with a solution. Sorry, but I'm not adjusting the bank to continue to allow this media backlog to be ignored! Yea man, I wasn't trying to blame the bank. I agree it's on the graders. I volunteered to be a grader to help with the backlog, but it doesn't appear they are interested. I tried helping the previous head come up with a way for his graders to work quicker, but I'm in charge of the bank and I have lots on my plate there. Let me just ask you this... if your job didn't pay you in real life, and the store told you that you couldn't buy something, and the bank told you that you had no money... would you bitch at the bank and the store to fix their rules? or would you realize the person to bitch at is the job that hasn't paid you? The bankers work hard, and forcing them to grade ungraded media to ensure the dollar amount is correct is not going to fix this problem. The media needs to hire a bunch of temp graders, or buckle down some weekend and hammer it out. I'll help grade if needed, but I"m not changing the bank rules back and forth to suit this media backlog. Yeah I think everyone understands the issue with auditing accounts, so we absolutely don't want to make your job harder. We're just trying to figure out this backlog problem which clearly seems like a media issue. I think there are plenty of people willing to help either on the bank or media end just for a short time to make sure we get through this backlog and everyone can get the pay they deserve quickly while making things easy for the bank. Bank rules in a media backlog - Admin - 08-06-2017 Two more graders just got hired for this exact issue @Kristy95 hopefully that takes care of it. In case you haven't noticed, the media backlog is at it's smallest in a month. I can understand your frustration, but, very few articles haven't been graded. I'm trying to add more active graders to my crew, many of which are on vacation or have busy work weeks. Part of it is the Bank rule's fault, but when the backlog is removed, it won't matter. I don't want to say patience, because it has been a really long time, but I'm still fine tuning the media grading crew, and articles are already being graded infinitely faster. We could hammer it out some afternoon with like 20 people lending a hand. @Ballerstorm how about a media grading day where anyone who helps grade a couple of articles gets $1m or something? I just looked at the backlog again and it definitely looks like we need to do something major to get ahead of the game. On SHL graders would do 4 pages or so each per week when it was their turn to grade. That shouldn't be unattainable here.
