RE: A Decision and a Discussion - Pat - 03-20-2021 I'm going to skip all of the ISFL/player/GM stuff here as everyone has already said everything I could say. I'm going to skip straight to the personal level. I don't know you nearly as well as others here do, but from the first moment we chatted when I asked you about how to be a good DT, you've been one of my favorite people here. It takes a big person to be able to be open and honest not only with others but with themselves about needing help. I hope you nothing but the absolute best, and I know that I am just one of many here who do. I'm still going to get you and Infinite to meet up with me sometime for beer and food, by the way. RE: A Decision and a Discussion - Blasoon - 03-20-2021 We've only really had the pleasure of working together through last season, and now this season, so I haven't gotten to know you as well as those wonderful people you listed. But thank you for being a joy to work with, a fun presence in an otherwise at times anxiety filled job, and on a more personal note thank you for being a good role model for the kind of GM that I hope to be. As you would put it: "lick my nuts, anxiety" RE: A Decision and a Discussion - Jay_Doctor - 03-20-2021 You already know, but love ya man. Wishing nothing but the best for you woelkers RE: A Decision and a Discussion - Crodyman - 03-20-2021 Good luck with your mental health journey, and I wish you well, brother. <3 RE: A Decision and a Discussion - BOOM™ - 03-20-2021 All the best for whatever the future holds. RE: A Decision and a Discussion - Jimi64 - 03-21-2021 We've barely ever interacted, but what you've written has truly affected me. Recent times have left in a place of frankly awful mental health, and I truly hope you get what you need. It's hard, but we're very often stronger than we tell ourselves. |
