Smh my head I’ve had 20+ PDs every season in the isfl even without the sim switch most of them, even with regression, which might break the streak, I wouldn’t consider 37 PDs unbrrakable. But great article!

considering one season a wide receiver led the league in interceptions and his partner (a 100 TPE CB) led the league in PDs, i wouldn't put anything past this sim. but even at a fairly generous 30 PD/season rate you'd still need 3.5 seasons to catch up to Dermot. may have underestimated the new sim's PD rates though.

Similarly, as you noted the catches record may also be more touchable than I'd hoped when I retired DiMirio (who for the record played one singular game at outside WR), and if not, certainly the catches by WR record which is 880 from Willie will fall. I think I should be able to break Willie's catches record since I'll be WR1 from this year until at least the second season after regression and will get extra games.

if triplet can do that I would be super impressed. looking at the index only a few players each season get more than 30 PDs a season, and 47 is a wild outlier. looking at the single season records it does seem that the new sim is more generous with PDs than I anticipated though, so who knows. It would take 8.3 seasons averaging 30 PD/season to break Dermot's record, and idk if a team is willing to play someone at CB1 for 8 seasons

dimirio's record will definitely fall though IMO. it's a matter of when, not if I think. sim transfer team did a good job at making WR catch numbers more realistic I think
