If that happens I usually ask the person to PM or tag me and I'll update them asap but I can't say that works for every updater.

It's tough all around, I don't know that there is a great solution, but I just wanted to start a dialog.

It would be impossible for any single updater to say "yea I can do the update at the same time every saturday". I had plans last night so my updates were done at 11 EST. Is it early? yes. But you had all week to link some of those claims. I had plans last night and could not do updates later than i did. The alternative would've been just not updating your team at all.
Everyone knows updates go in on saturdays. It hasn't changed recently. Get your updates done on time, links included and there would be no problems.

An updater cannot update whenever YOU want. The schedule is set. Weekends. Meaning Saturday AND Sunday. Some could be done "early" on a Saturday but the updates have already been said to be done on WEEKENDS. You have a whole week to fill it out. Updaters have their own things to do as well, and updating an entire team is hard work. If you'd like to change the schedule to strictly Sunday, maybe you could join the update team and change it.

Just wanted to clear up this common misconception. The Updater team is under strict instruction to get it all done on Saturday only, no exceptions. If something is left to Sunday is usually because someone messed up. This ruling is coming from the top and is not really flexible.

We have to do it Saturday as Sunday is the time for Activity Checks and Weekly Trainings to reset.
So it could be any day Saturday but if we waited til Sunday there might be some people with 7 more TPE than others. Creating an unfair advantage

Typically the last claim thread is coming out on Thursday morning. This gives people most of Thursday and all of Friday to get all of their updates down by Saturday.
