Kalam Mekhar grew up in a relatively successful rural family, so he was used to not wanting for much as a kid. However, his parents made sure that Kalam and his siblings weren’t spoiled and knew the value of hard work and spending money wisely. While Kalam would have been able to afford college even if he had not been able to get a scholarship to play football, many of his teammates came from families that would not have been able to pay for it. As a result, once he was drafted into the big leagues and started making a lot of money, the first thing he did was to find a solid financial advisor to make sure that he would be set for life. Kalam certainly lives a privileged lifestyle, and has a nice car and big house, but he also makes sure to invest his money wisely. You won’t find him dropping a ton of money into flashy investments like AMC or Dogecoin, or driving a Bentley, or living in a 10,000 square foot mansion. Kalam and his advisor have made sure to invest in a diverse portfolio of stocks, bonds, and other ‘boring’ financial investment opportunities. Hopefully, more players will follow Kalam’s example so they won’t be broke as soon as they stop playing football!

My plan so far is to do the smart thing. Save your money and not burn through it. How am I planning on achieving that? Well, easy answer. Most of my money will go into a portfolio where it slowly but steadily grows.
One thing I really want to spend money on is for one my Body. I have to keep my Body healthy for the football season and retirement. I don't want to live the rest of my life with a completely fucked up body.
The other thing I really want to focus and spend money on is my Football and financial knowledge. That sounds a bit weird but I basically want to set myself up for the future so that I can fulfill my dream of becoming either a GM(Hence the financial knowledge) or a Head Coach. For that I attend a lot of coaching sessions from ex GMs but also from current GMs. During the offseason I'm following our GM around trying to pick up everything he does. Sounds a bit weird for a football player but it will help me in the future!

I also really want to focus on new methods to improve Data collection and how we use it for the game. So if I have some money left I will probably fund a start up or two that will hopefully help me when I become a GM.

When I become a GM or Head Coach I will be set money wise as well. Even if I fuck up at some point and lose some money.

Tay Swizzle is not just a very well known artist but she is also one of the best development football sim league wide receivers available. She is a ruthless business woman that understands that just her singing career and her football career will not be good enough for the future. This is why Tay Swizzle has silently been occupying herself with a passion project that will obviously leave her very well off once her singing career stagnates and she starts regressing in her football career. Tay Swizzle will be focusing on creating a record company or a music label. Whatever you would like to call it. She has set out to find the brightest prospects in music and entertainment in general. Like I said, she is a ruthless business woman and wants her golden goose so she never has to wander out in the streets begging for money. She also has plans in the future to create an american football academy that will hopefully foster brand new young talent into the football league that has given her so much already. The DSFL and especially the Portland Pythons should see a rich draft class one day all recruited and scouted by Tay Swizzle. This is how Tay Swizzle will manage and invest her money

It’s pretty simple.  Honky Tonk Haywood make be out of the league, but he’ll always be a performer.  Haywood would immediately return to his roots in Nashville (sorry, Philadelphia!) and get back into the music scene.  He was never a songwriter, so he has no qualms about getting on stage an taking requests or making guest appearances – from the Ryman to the touristy dive bars.  So you’ll be able to no doubt find advertisements on the streets of Nashville for the former NFL star’s nightly appearances on the strip, taking requests and venmos from the visiting public.  There’s always the chunk of change he’ll make for showing up at Kid Rock or Toby Keith’s bar and bringing some energy.  Maybe it’s not the best long term plan for a really large man, but there will be income to be made in his post-playing days by simply existing in his own element.  And hell, maybe down the line you’ll see “Honky Tonk’s Honky Tonk” bar down in Nashville – playing all the best and worst country music in the country.  Let’s just hope Haywood can leave the physical aspects of it all to the actual bouncers.  Although a guest appearance in bouncing would be a sight to see!
