This question is hitting too close to home right now.  It feels like retirement is all of a sudden right around the corner for HTH.  I mean I have only just started regression this season, so there should be a few more effective seasons left in the big fella, but even those should go by pretty quick.  HTH has definitely slowed his role a bit, no longer the party animal that he once was, from Nashville to Pennsylvania.  Instead, he’s developed some great relationships with the local culinary scene as well as with charities within greater Philadelphia.  There are rumors that when Honky Tonk hangs up the cleats, that there will be some national interest in some color commentary positions; however, others have leaked that the food network has a handshake agreement to get Haywood to star in a ‘Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives’-esque show that will showcase him eating bar food, drinking cocktails, and jamming out to live music.  Regardless, let’s hope those decisions don’t need to be made too imminently!

Deshawn Penne has a taste for the culinary world, and to be honest would have been a chef if it weren't for my freakish athletic gifts. As a little kid I wanted to go to culinary school, so after I retire I'll probably take some time off (a year or two) and then start applying to culinary schools to broaden my skill set. After that, I'll start developing a menu and aim to open up a restaurant in the city where my jersey is retired (hopefully), San Jose. Whether I can parlay this into becoming the team chef or at least the nutrition coordinator for the Sabercats is to be determined, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.

All throughout this time I will be giving back to the community that lifted me up in San Jose as any uber rich and successful athlete should, as well as giving back to my rural small-town upbringings in North Carolina to make it easier for the next Deshawn Penne to break through and succeed.

Tsuyu Asui's life after football would be hard on her at first, since she doesn't know what to do with herself. But soon she decides to follow her second passion, which is professional cooking. After a short time as a football analyst in Colorado, she opens a restaurant right in the middle of the city called The Froggy Feast. It would become insanely popular for it's traditional Japanese dishes made with a lot of love. The restaurant would also be pretty close to the stadium, so people going to Yeti games can grab some food before or after kickoff.

After a while of being the head chef and owner, she decides to start her own cooking show that would take place in the restaurant. She uses it to not only show off her dishes, but also show how difficult it can be to run a restaurant. It would become one of the most popular shows on the Food Network, and a Japanese dub done by Asui herself would premiere in Japan not to long after. The Froggy Eats would be her life after football, and she would also appear in quite a few movies. She would even voice some anime characters, both English and Japanese. Overall she would be insanely successful after football and beyond.

Juan Domine has already begun pondering life after the ISFL, as he has already been discussing privately that next season will be his last. All of Domine's success in life can be attributed to the game of football, so he will certainly try to continue on in some kind of coaching role. In fact, Domine has a few different options before him that he can pursue. The Butchers would certainly love to have Domine continue on as a positional coach, as he already works in tandem with the burgeoning star duo of Hall and Man. Also, his alma mater Campion College in Jamaica would appreciate him for both his mentoring abilities as well as the fame and prestige he would bring to the institution. Lastly, a dark horse candidate has appeared to insert itself into Domine's post-playing career. With the tumult present in its football program, Bowling Green State University has contacted Juan regarding a head coaching opportunity. In its attempts to be competitive in the Mid-American conference, the Falcons have run afoul of NCAA regulations and now seek a steady hand to guide them. Domine has much to consider over the next year before he decides how his next chapter will be written.

A life after football? It's probably about the same as a life with football for Cobra Kai. As he basically runs on the field as a side gig anyway, as his main gig is being an alcoholist and drinking all throughout the day. So once football is gone, all he needs to do is find a new side activity to keep himself entertained. Maybe Cobra Kai will stir up his old rivalry with the Miyagi kid, that is always great fun. So starting up a dojo again could be possibility too. There should be a whole new generation of students that can take up karate, or drinking, depending on which age group I will coach. If they are old enough we will probably just spent most of the time at the bar anyway.

But it might actually be good for building up clientelle, as who wouldnt want to be trained by a Ultimus Champion like himself. Life will look very good and very drunk after retirement for Cobra Kai, that's one thing we can be certain about. A lot of coors banquets on the horizon!

The time has come to hang up the pads. What does your players life look like after football? Will they explore brand new ventures or stay close to the game?

My career is just getting started as I haven't even played a single down yes in the ISFL.  But after my storied and accolated (is that a word) career has come to a close, I have some big plans. Personally I'd like to get into the management side of the game.  I think the ideal situation would be to take over an expansion franchise, or at least rebrand and reboot another dormant club.  I think I'd have a lot of fun working out the branding, designs, and most of all putting the players together. By the time my career would have come to an end I would think I would've made a lot of good connections and be able to grab some recreates and partner them with newly recruited players to join my new squad.  I think my team would be based somewhere in the Amazon. Maybe something like the Peru Pink Dolphins (the Pink River Dolphins found in the Peruvian Amazon are said to be mythical creatures that turn into handsome men in the middle of the night. Kindof like a reverse werewolf!)

Anyways, that would be my plan for post-career. I'd probably also recreate and join my newly founded team. Perhaps playing QB? Only time will tell.
