I just think it's an interesting thing to write about. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - iamslm22 - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 03:04 PM)To12143 Wrote:I will say, I find it funny that your only intention of doing this is because I made a list and you didn't make it. I was mostly inspired by your exclusion of Hackett and Cook as well. Your post was interesting to read, but for you to say the only reason I wrote this was to put myself on it is horseshit. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - Oles - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 03:47 PM)iamslm22 Wrote:I was mostly inspired by your exclusion of Hackett and Cook as well. Your post was interesting to read, but for you to say the only reason I wrote this was to put myself on it is horseshit. I mean, you're the one who instantly felt snubbed on my post, and instantly had something to say. And being honest here, Hackett and Cook wouldn't be pro bowlers anyway, neither would you. Cook is not better than Cooper Christmas, and Cook was a number 2 WR for a few games, when he went to the Wraiths. As for Hackett it's hard to put him over Tiernan, who while he may not have had flashy stats, was a reliable LB who could make plays in the middle. Harrison is the same way, reliability is accounted for in mine with the LBs, and considering they had roughly the same stats, I'll take the guy with a few more tackles over a one sack. I'm sorry but if you didn't have that 10 pancake game you would not be anywhere close to the pro bowl. You have average stats, but at least you're active and getting better. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - iamslm22 - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 04:21 PM)To12143 Wrote:I mean, you're the one who instantly felt snubbed on my post, and instantly had something to say. I agree with you on Harrison (just posted the Defensive Article) but I feel like Hacket is better than Tiernan. Also Cooks stats were better then Christmas as much as I would rather vote for a Hawk. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - Oles - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 04:26 PM)iamslm22 Wrote:I agree with you on Harrison (just posted the Defensive Article) but I feel like Hacket is better than Tiernan. Cooper had a 1.4 better average YPC. Cooper had 7 less receptions and 5 less yards, with 1 less touchdown. I'll take those stats considering Cook stopped producing tds at like week 8. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - iamslm22 - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 04:35 PM)To12143 Wrote:If you valued percentages like you did for the QBs(which let you put some Scrub in) you'd have Cooper over Cook. But a reception for a wide out has value. Yes Christmas had more yards per catch, but a wideout with more catches has more value. It's not the same as a QB with better efficiency, you know what I'm saying? I don't know if I'm articulating my point well, but basically a higher volume wide receiver should get credit, it means they're getting open, while a higher volume passer is just game flow and play calling. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - Oles - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 04:37 PM)iamslm22 Wrote:But a reception for a wide out has value. There are other factors to it as well, say a qb forcing the ball to a wr instead of checking all options. Or being a number 2 wr, facing a CB that is not the same caliber as the guy facing the number 1 wr. I will give more value to being a number 1 WR the whole season, staying in the same conference (note, everyone seems to think that I believe someones stats should just disappear into the abyss if they're traded, which seems to stem from the bias of the players, but I do not think that and never have), and how they did with the targets they got. Right now I'm compiling stats of both Hackett and Cook, from before they were traded and after, and then we'll see how truly deserving they are of the pro bowl *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - iamslm22 - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 04:44 PM)To12143 Wrote:There are other factors to it as well, say a qb forcing the ball to a wr instead of checking all options. You're absolutely right about Christmas having to deal with the number 1 corner, it's something I did not consider. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - 124715 - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 04:38 PM)iamslm22 Wrote:Lol not true at all. They're just a pain when you split them up. *Who should make the NSFC Offensive Pro Bowl Team - ErMurazor - 08-28-2017 (08-28-2017, 01:25 PM)HalfEatenOnionBagel Wrote:What we really need to see is an opinion of someone from the ASFC to really get an accurate and unbiased NSFC pro bowl prediction I'm on it.
