Quite honestly I bit off more than I could chew with all the roles I had and real life commitments became way too big which is why I had to keep myself competitive. I guess in my head I thought it would be "morally correct" because I put in so much work but knew what I was doing was wrong. Apologies to the Yeti and the rest of the NSFL, best of luck with the future  Noble - Today at 6:46 PM No I'm not sorry to be quite honest, and I'm not justifying it I fucked up yes Noble - Today at 6:49 PM And Keyg, kinda I guess. It's a competitive nature and the people in the suspension thread got it on the nose. I started slow, and my schedule was jam packed so it didn't seem like much Head office thinks I'm way smarter than I am though, I never deleted any logs. As far as I knew the league didn't keep any, I looked for them As well, if anyone wants to thank someone for finding it Im fairly sure it was Deusolis. He was writing an article and looked through my PT history Noble - Today at 6:58 PM Actually as a totally side note, I was planning to step down from HO at end of S3 and my Head Updater job was already basically Bzerkap, I didn't complete fantasy picks, and I was falling behind in Top 50 I'm genuinely glad this happened It gives me a reason to leave" *Too far or not far enough? - Archon - 09-15-2017 (09-15-2017, 06:43 PM)JuOSu Wrote:Screenshot of that? He wasnt competitive? Dude was number 1 in the league, even if he didnt cheat he would have been a top 3 quarterback easily. What an absolute disgrace. Deusolis deserves a ton of credit. Hope he gets a bonus. *Too far or not far enough? - Keyg_an - 09-15-2017 (09-15-2017, 04:23 PM)bovovovo Wrote:Just curious, what did he do in the SHL? This is my first sim league so I'm not familiar with the history of other ones He made multiple players in the league that were playing at the same time. *Too far or not far enough? - AdamS - 09-16-2017 given the egregious behavior, attitude, and level of misdeed, I'd go straight to banning the isp and warning any other sim leagues it's an admittance of guilt without a shred of remorse and a dismissal of responsibility (the attitude of oh, here's my reason to leave)...it's difficult to be this guilty and this flippant about it and I'm just not sure that type of person should be part of this obviously I just got here and take this with the appropriate grains of salt necessary for that but yeah *Too far or not far enough? - Sweetwater - 09-16-2017 (09-16-2017, 02:30 AM)AdamS Wrote:given the egregious behavior, attitude, and level of misdeed, I'd go straight to banning the isp and warning any other sim leagues I agree with you. He's a known repeat offender, was given another chance, abused his power, then showed no remorse in the decision. That's not a person we ever want back in the league, let alone able to apply for a freaking HO position ever again. *Too far or not far enough? - Kendrick - 09-16-2017 (09-15-2017, 04:29 PM)kckolbe Wrote:Man, you nailed it right here:Not to mention the trickle down effect. Yes Noble deserved to be punished but now the rest of his team gets absolutely killed over something they had no knowledge and no control over. So now punishing Noble completely crushes their motivation. I know I'm not too thrilled to be thrown to by an inactive QB and a team that already was on the down swing. Just think its a little harsh on the Yeti. *Too far or not far enough? - AdamS - 09-16-2017 so then the conversation becomes can we and should we do anything for the Yeti, and what would that be *Too far or not far enough? - BOOM™ - 09-16-2017 (09-16-2017, 02:50 AM)Kendrick Wrote:Not to mention the trickle down effect. Just asking, not an accusation. *Too far or not far enough? - RedCydranth - 09-16-2017 (09-15-2017, 11:40 PM)Yurt6 Wrote:If a real team's player did something like shoot somebody and get arrested, then it sucks for the team but they put their faith in that player and the player didn't hold up his end of the bargain. I'm just gonna quote this, because it's a great answer to @AdamS question. Nothing should be done. It sucks but that's part of how it has to be. You get no compensation for a player's "off the field" actions. Every team has some sort of losses to deal with. The Otters lost 3 solid starters this offseason. McGinn, Harris and Bowers, plus Willie and Sandoval in the draft. We got no compensation for that loss. I get thatit sucks, but player retirement is just as much out of our hands as a suspension is out of yours. |
