@sapp2013 and @iamslm22 HAVE GREAT POINTS ON THE STEPIEN RULE BUT ALL WE WANNA DISCUSS IS GM FIRING???

THANK YOU! Im not trying to out an GMs, just protect the teams a little more. Obviously this wont be 100% sure thing (a la brooklyn nets) but it will keep it to a minimum.

What if the second year's 1st rounder was traded for a later 1st rounder (under either definition of later)?

What if the pick is traded for a player that clearly has huge value?

You're going to make a rule that says that x team traded their 1st rounder in season 38 and so they can't offer a 1st round pick for a starter level player in season 39?

What if they have multiple first round picks the 2nd year?

How does this affect picks in rounds 2 and on?

What if they trade away first rounders in season 38 and 40, use their pick in season 39, but then end up with a different season 40 1st round pick...are they not allowed to trade that now despite it not being theirs originally and it being legal for them to have originally traded it away?

What if they use their 2nd year's 1st round pick for a player, then trade that player?

What if they just really really fucking don't like anyone enough to want to use a 1st round pick on them?

Has to have atleast 1 first rounder in Every other draft with the current years draft pick as an exception. I.e. if it's s3, you can trade away s4 (upcoming/current draft) and s5 1st, but not s5 + s6.

Too bad. Find other means.

Yup. If HO approves it, but doesn't sound like it currently.

What if they have multiple first round picks the 2nd year?

As long as they have 1 1st round draft pick in every other year, they are good.

It does not affect them as of this rule. That can be modified.

Little bit confused here. Just read my previous answers and see if that answers this one.

What if they use their 2nd year's 1st round pick for a player, then trade that player?

That's fine.

What if they just really really fucking don't like anyone enough to want to use a 1st round pick on them?

See previous answers. If it's the current/upcoming Draft, they can trade it away.

Hope that helps. I was too lazy to break the quote apart for each question this morning. Sorry.
