(S4) - PT #3 - Cover Athlete - RedCydranth - 11-07-2017 Marc Spector received a letter in the mail on the first day of training camp, and it was from Square Enix. Square Enix is a video game company most known for their role playing and adventure games like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. They recently have been creating titles in the Tomb Raider series of video games, featuring Lara Croft. However, they've grown stale and were looking for a secondary protagonist to assist Lara in her adventures. That is where Marc comes in. With his expertise in Archaeology and fame in the community, he was offered a substantial amount to not only be in the game, but do a lot of voice acting and motion capture for it. The cover of the game, titled Tomb Raiders: Himalaya features Lara Croft hoisting Marc up to a frosty ledge. The game can either be played as a one player with an AI controlling the other person, or as a cooperative 2 player experience. The game is filled with a series of puzzles, historically accurate drama surrounding a legend well guarded by the monks of Paro Taktsang and a slew of enemies that expand the repertoire of Lara Croft's prior adventures. Whether Marc continues to be in the series or if this is a one-off thing remains to be seen, and likely hinges upon sales and public opinions. (226 Words) (S4) - PT #3 - Cover Athlete - Den_Tex_Mix2 - 11-07-2017 Luke Washington had a great season 3 campaign that has allowed him to become the cover athlete for the upcoming NCAA 18 football game as a playable legend that can be added to your favorite ncaa team! He shares the cover if other great professional players like Tim Tebow, Johnny Football, and T.J Watt. "It's a great opportunity, I have always wanted to be put on the cover of a football game and to play as myself in a video game. I would always place my own create a player into my favorite teams, and now that it is actually happening is a humbling feeling." In the new game you can place Luke Washington as your middle linebacker on any team, and use his special ability of slowing down time to make big plays. And if you thought that is fun, you can even place Luke on your offense as a power running back with the same amount of power in his trucking of defenders as his power hits on wide receivers. " I can't wait to get the game myself and start to beat down my teammates in this game, when it comes to madden I'm the best and it will be no different with this game." You can pick this game up to at any local store or on online for all gaming systems for just 60$ on November 10th! (S4) - PT #3 - Cover Athlete - cosbornballboy - 11-07-2017 Who was the man selected for the latest cover of National Simulation Football League S4: Heavy Edition? That's right. Ricardo Sandoval. The Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate was selected from a field of Godfrey King, Angus Winchester, Antonio Sandoval, and Jayce Tuck to have the distinct honor of representing the Heavies on S4 of the game. The selection process was brutal, they had to weigh him on multiple different occasions just to make sure he fit the appropriate weight after intense offseason training where he became even leaner and meaner. Now, he terrorizes players in the game, with his 90 OVR rookie Ultimate Team card and a "Rookie DT Chemistry" Matchup with 90 OVR Godfrey King (@Shadowz) to boost both player's cards up to a 95 OVR. Mix that in with the Heavy chemistry by adding Gregor Clegane (@automatic) and you have 3 97 OVR defensive linemen ready to tear shit up. Now you may be asking yourself, "Why Sandoval, why not Jayce Tuck. After all @ErMurazor does a fantastic job representing his clients." Well interestingly enough, Sandoval only beat out Tuck because of his willingness to do the photo shoot in Orange County. Tuck was uninterested in doing so because he believed his presence brought legitimacy to a shitty football town. (S4) - PT #3 - Cover Athlete - Bzerkap - 11-07-2017 After the S4 traning camp, Dr. Oz, who is a huge Yellowknife Wraiths fan, stopped by practice. He noticed how quick the QB was and immediately talked to the head coach, exclaiming how much faster Orosz has gotten. The coach looked at him funny and said, "Uhhhhh, that's not Orosz. That's Akselsen." Shocked, Dr.Oz ran onto the field to get a closer look. Unfortunately he ran right in front of Lombardi during a field goal attempt and got beaned right in the head. When he came to a bit later he immediately got up and ran to find Akselsen. "How did you do it? Where have the pounds gone? Why is your arm so good? Did you use one of my many methods, such as 'You might do better to replace an occasional dinner with a nice roll in the hay. Healthy sex may help control the amount of food you eat and it's great exercise.' ?" Akselsen gave him a sideways look and simply said "Ummm I've just cut out the candy, eating only whole foods, lots of meat and good fats. I started doing a lot more cardio and it just came to me" "Genius!" Dr. Oz said "Can't believe I never thought of it before! Come with me, we're gonna make you a star!" Akselsen ended up signing a huge contract with Woman's Day to be featured on their fall weight-loss issue. Akselsen doesn't really know how it all happened but he made a lot of money off of it. @bluesfan55 @Aenir (S4) - PT #3 - Cover Athlete - 7hawk77 - 11-07-2017 I woke up at 7:00 am, take a quick shower, and I'm to the airport by 8. Quick flight from San Jose to Irvine and I'm heading to Blizzard head quarters. I pull up to the building and playing the games growing up, it's almost surreal. I get met at the front door and exchange pleasantries. They bring me in and we start talking about world of warcraft. Aaron says: "It's crazy that you used to play. When you tweeted about how excited you we're about classic servers, we saw this as a great opportunity. We we're thinking a commercial as well as special edition game release with a copy of you, your favorite class and your signature on the box. "That sounds great." Later on they make a hype up commercial about how I relax from the field by playing World of Warcraft and that restoration druid is what I plan to play for World of Warcraft Classic. On top of that, they get me to design a Tauren druid wearing tier 2 armor to be show cased on the special edition game box, next to my picture and my signature. Blizzard also brought on 8 other "celebrities" to fill in the other classes. Mila Kunis was brought in for the Hunter class. 217 words. (S4) - PT #3 - Cover Athlete - Beaver - 11-07-2017 With the grand return of the NCAA Football franchise, EA Sports established a thorough selection process to decide who would have the honor of being on the cover. They intended to find a player that embodied the spirit of collegiate football: teamwork, athleticism, and determination. First, they took every NCAA player who moved onto the NSFL this season since it's far superior to the NFL, CFL, etc. They then invited all these players to a remote desert island, marooned them on different parts of the island with only a jug of water, a compass, a knife, and 10 feet of rope. The objective was to be the first player or players to successfully reach a luxury yacht moored 3 miles due south. Watching from afar they observed the players interacting with the environment and each other to achieve their goal. A large group of players banded together to create a large raft by chopping down trees, making their own rope, and such. When this group of players finally reached the yacht after hours of rowing and fighting the ocean currents they were surprised to see Blackford Oakes already lounging on deck with a drink in one hand and a bimbo by his side. Though those players tackled the task as the creators intended, Oakes had beat them through sheer laziness: he tried tying two logs that had fallen over together but it was too much work so he rolled one down to the beach and kicked his way to the yacht like a child on a kickboard. Begrudgingly, EA Sports put his likeness on the cover. Erlich Burnsman will be on the cover of Geckos Weekly very first issue. As many of you in the league may be aware, my client Erlich Burnsman, RB for the Orange County Otters, is a huge gecko enthusiast. Burnsman will pose in the buff with 1,534 geckos. He will simultaneously set the new Guinness world record for most geckos captured in a photograph.
