A few years ago, producers for an unknown show, known as No Script with Marshawn Lynch, called the Baltimore Hawks front office with a request. They wanted Marshawn and rookie sensation, Darlane Farlane to get together for the filming of an episode. Unfortunately, with the disappearance of Darlane Farlane in season 3, and Marshawn’s return to the NFL, the filming was pushed back to season 4. Farlane was all but a ghost at this point, showing up for practices and games only, and leaving immediately, so Owen Taylor, being the new starting running back, was the obvious fill-in. Unfortunately, no one told Taylor, and when Lynch showed up at his house unannounced, he was woefully unprepared. Taylor was loading his youngest child into his SUV when Lynch rolled into his driveway. “Sup, man? What we doin today?” “Um…. Grocery shopping?”
And so began the most entertaining grocery shopping trip of Taylor’s life. Not because Lynch did anything outlandish or absurd, but because he was just such a nice guy to talk to. Not only was he incredibly helpful in tracking down items that Taylor didn’t know the location of, Lynch even volunteered to carry Taylor’s child. Lynch did make one request though, he wanted some Skittles, and none of that tropical flavor non-sense either. No one likes those.

In a rather unusual episode of No Script with Marshawn Lynch. Lavelle and co decided to travel to Lynch's hometown of Oakland, California.

Lavelle made his qualms from the get go, insisting that he feels very uncomfortable both with Lynch by his side and in his absence. They visited LLynch's childhood home which he was raised in, which is currently in a derelict state. They both then visited Lena's Soul Food Cafe where they tried out their delicious wings and BBQ sauce.

Unbeknownst to the two, a mere five minutes after ordering their food in the diner, a fight broke out two tables down. Lavelle and Lynch couldn't exactly make out what was happening or who was involved in the commotion. Suddenly a platter of wings gets sent flying across the room followed by a manly roar of " THESE WINGS AIN'T THAT GREAT" and " YOU CALL THESE WINGS?? " . Lavelle recognized the voice, it was none other than former tight end and current Wraiths defensive end Ricky Maddox who was showing his displeasure with the quality of wings on show.

Lavelle made his way down to Ricky's table and shortly Maddox broke into tears. "I JUST WANTED SOME HIGH QUALITY WINGS LIKE MAMA USED TO MAKE" he declared. Before Lavelle could get a word in, Maddox stormed out of the diner, likely never to be seen in Lena's again.

As a guy who spends a lot of time in Oakland and the East Bay, No Script is right up Jayce Tuck’s ally. In this episode Jayce and Marshawn are going to cruise down Telegraph Avenue and see what kind of trouble they can get into.

Marshawn and Jayce first spend some time pan handling on the streets to see how much they can scrape and if they will get recognized. Once they get their signs dialed in they snag a popular corner on Broadway and get to work.

It’s pretty clear early on that not too many people with the cash to give to pan handlers are too intent on passing it off on two fit, athletic beats like Marshawn and Jayce. After about an hour, they two have $7.56 combined and decided to head up North on Telegraph to try to use their “earnings” to buy some pot from some of the college dealers in Berkeley.

Turns out college students are willing to give pot to pro football athletes for free in Berkeley so the two end up getting stoned for nothing along with about 50 kegger invites. After they’re both completely baked and roaming the streets the end up dropping dropping all their cash to pan handlers in Berkeley to go full circle.

The episode ends with the two getting some Top Dog and walking back to Oakland.

On this episode of No Script – Marshawn meets with Yellowknife Wraiths’ linebacker William Ridley stops by to talk about that trade, the best cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, and the best work out routines to shake off those cheat day meals.

Filmed exclusively in studio the majority of the episode takes the form of a cooking show, with Ridley teaching Beast Mode the finer points of Philly Cheesesteaks. Ridley and Lynch review some of the best places to grab one in Philly (for Ridley it’s got to be Jim’s or Geno’s), and in the Bay Area, then Ridley shows some of the skills he picked up in the City of Brotherly Love. The segment ends with Lynch having his own Beast Steak and dropping a couple of Skittles in the mix for good measure.

After their cheesy meals, Lynch and Ridley hit the gym, going one for one on a series of machines and workouts to test each others mettle, both strong competitors worked themselves into a sweat, with neither wanting to take a backwards step. Ridley’s time on No Script finished with a brief chat about Canada, what it is like in the Frozen north, and ended with Ridley offering to fly Beast Mode in for a game.

Full disclosure didn't look at what the show is about, one can only assume that it is Marshawn Lynch bringing a guest every week to peep in other people's windows.

Brice Boggs is well known as a young NSFL player, so it caught him off guard when Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch invited him to an episode of No Script. Naturally he felt honored for the opportunity and happily agreed.

In this episode, Boggs and Lynch flew down to Oakland, to visit the young'ins and teach them a football trick or two. Marshawn Lynch worked with the offensive players and had a great time teaching them how to truck, spin, and find holes. Defensively, Boggs was handling the kids. Boggs taught kids how to stay with receivers, how to tackle, and how to evade blockers. Boggs had a lot of fun, and eventually gave his jersey to the kid who he thought performed with the most heart and energy.

Later, Lynch and Boggs spent time alone together, eating pizza and talking football. Boggs was surprised about how much Lynch knew of the NSFL. After downing the pizzas (Lynch ate 9 slices), Lynch took Boggs to the Coliseum and showed off the Raiders stadium. Boggs was certainly impressed. This was the biggest stadium Boggs had played in since his days back in college, playing with the Florida Gators.

"It was a fun experience. If I could, I'd do it again."

Some people have been referring to Boss Tweed as the Beastmode of the NSFL. Marshawn Lynch was not a fan of this as there is only room for one Beastmode. He invited Boss Tweed out to Oakland for an episode of No Script to settle the issue. Lynch challenged Tweed to a duel to determine which one of them was the true Beast Mode. However, it was not a traditional duel. The battle was waged with Nerf guns. Even though they were just using Nerf guns, they did not skimp on the set-up as they aranged a full scale arena for the battle. There were arena was full of obstacles and they were given the newest guns from Nerf's arsenal. The battle went on for about 20 minutes with both participants landing multiple hits on eachother. The issue is that neither of them would concede defeat even after multiple hits. At the end of the day, the production crew had to call an end to match to prevent the episode from dragging on too long. Lynch and Tweed had to call their match a stalemate as they could not decide on a winner. After the nerf battle, Lynch and Tweed went out for pizza and compared notes about playing running back and their individual playing styles.

Turner recently met up with Marshawn Lynch in order to have a competition to see who is the more athletic player, in a competition that combines both size, speed and strength. The first competition was a 40 yard dash, in which turner demolished marshawn lynch. Turner ran a 4.1 while marshawn ran a 4.7. The next competition was a battle in dunking. Turner pulled out a 360 dunk the first time and received a score of 45. Lynch pulled out a powerful reverse slam which got him a 46. Both turner and lynch missed their second dunk. On his final dunk, Turner managed to score a windmill dunk all the way from the freethrow line, getting a score of 50. Lynch attempted the same but fell way short. In the final competition, a small rope was used for a tug of war between the two. Now, most would expect Lynch to dominate any strength competition. Those who expected that would be completely right. Turner immediately went flying and lost the competition. Luckily for him, he had already won the first two battles sp he still won the competition. Lynch did not accept his loss gracefully and stormed off the show.
