Yeah I'm biased as a running back, but I've noticed rushing stats are looking pretty bad in comparison to passing stats. An issue I've noticed is that big gain running plays don't really happen in the NSFL. Looking at the records page, in league history there have only been 2 rushes longer than 40 yards and 8 rushes longer than 20 yards. In 4 1/2 seasons with Tweed, my longest rush has been for just 19 yards. In the NFL this season, according to the ESPN stats section, 43 players had a rush longer than 40 yards and 113 players had at least on rush longer than 20 yards (and those don't count cases where players had multiple rushes of that distance). If NSFL players could have more big plays running the ball, I think it would bring up averages to a more similar level. This is also probably part of why NSFL teams favor passing, because there is a much better chance at making a huge gain. Interestingly, from what I've seen, there are a lot more big running plays in the 2018 version of the sim so we may should hopefully see better rushing numbers if we end up switching to that.

This is what perplexes me the most. We routinely see WRs outrun DBs for big gains, yet I've never seen a running back do so. Add that to what seems like the impossible task of breaking tackles or making a tackler miss, and the lack of big plays really kneecaps the position.
