I am most excited about the man the myth the legend Poopyface Tomatonose. The team formerly known as the Legion’s offense has slowly begun to take shape, and Tomatonose looks to be a solid contributor in the revamped offense. He replaces the fantastic Joseph Askins, who beefed up and joined the defense last season as a defensive tackle. While Tomatonose looks to be a great on field contributor, his locker room presence has already been felt by NOLA. In fact, part of the reason why NOLA looked at Tomatonose so early in the draft was because of his locker room leadership ability. In addition, Poopyface Tomatonose is the co-gm of the fantastic DSFL squad the Portland Pythons, where he’s gaining invaluable GM experience. Don’t be surprised if Tomatonose joins the NOLA management as a kind of special advisor man in the future. NOLAs current special advisor man is kind of a dingus and doesn’t know what he’s doing, so it’s high time for a replacement. Poopyface Tomatonose should be that replacement. Hopefully. Please dear lord Tomatonose be the replacement. He’s already playing a large role in helping the development of his fellow youngsters and has been a fantastic team member.

The new New Orleans Second Line player I'm most excited to see the impact of is none other than myself, THE Poopyface Tomatonose. No, your eyes do not deceive you. I am a new face, even to myself, as I enter my inaugural NSFL season. After toiling away on a losing (yet talented) roster in Kansas City, I have transformed myself heading into this season. I really beefed up this off-season and my jawline is more chiseled than ever before. On top of that, after putting in a nearly inhuman effort this off-season I expect myself to bring a new dimension to the Second Line offense, bringing our total number of dimensions up to two. We're still one dimension short of the big time, three dimensions, but we are optimistic we can get there by next season. I will provide our new quarterback, Borkus Maximus III, who is ironically not a new face to the team, with a wide and reliable, yet nimble receiving target in the passing game.

If I had to pick a player other than myself who I am excited about, it would be Joseph Askins. He is a new face in that his face is new because he added about a hundred pounds as he beefed up for a position switch to defensive tackle. Not only did he open up a hole for me, Poopyface Tomatonose, to step into, but he filled a hole as a hole filler on the defensive line. His beefy new body should plug plenty of running lanes even as teams look to take advantage of the run game this season. Askins' impact will definitely be felt by a Second Line defense in sore need of help.

Marc was in the war room for the draft and he was one of the scouts sent to the DSFL camps to look at all the rookies. A few names really stood out to him, and one such name was Elvin Enchant. Everything he did on and off the field felt like he would be a solid fit in Orange County. Come draft day, Marc told the rest of his draft room teammates that Elvin was a solid pick if he fell to them. When Enchant was there, Marc was the first to call Elvin and greeted him as an Otter. Enchant is expected to fit in and fill the hole left by Adamle Tomlinson, a long time veteran and hopefully surpass the founding Otter in skill. Given Elvin's abilities, it shouldn't take long to see his impact on the field. The Otters also added a rookie named Bogdan Wojcik, and Marc was quite high on this young talent as well. He had a first round grade on his talent as well. Wojcik's skills will most likely be used to fill the hole of Vinny Cox, the recently retired Defensive Tackle that the Otters acquired in a trade last season from the Las Vegas Legion. Te good thing about both Enchant and Wojcik, is that they both can take their own time getting developed into this stout defense. Given the immense talent surrounding them across the defense, they're going to be learning from the best.

I'm the new guy on the team, and it has been the most welcoming experience I could have asked for. I want to give a big shout-out to Cole McCoy (@TrueTexican) for believing in me despite two dropped passes and for throwing two perfect passes to me so that I can show what I'm capable of doing and I look forward to building further chemistry with McCoy him. I see a prototypical QB with all of the tools to shine in the DSFL and further. We are going to be a dominate force of two rookies to the DSFL, and I feel confident in our ability to perform very well together.

This is not to say anything against our other QB Christ, he has tremendous ability as well, and I feel that I could do just as well with either of these talented QBs as the lead.

I am excited about the entire team, I have already experienced strong leadership in my two games with us finishing undefeated. I have also experienced just how quickly the management of Portland was able to show me the ropes and given me a chance. I have no doubts that we will, as a whole, have a fantastic year and hopefully win the DSFL.

The Philadelphia Liberty acquired 2 new rookies in the last NSFL Draft. Wide receiver Blessed Storm will be a welcome addition to support the Liberty’s receiving core as Jon Ross departs from the team and helps the Liberty fill that gap for their second tight end and 3rd wide receiver needs. I’m excited to see how Storm fits into the Liberty’s offense as he was a key piece of the Pythons offense last season in the DSFL despite being overshadowed by Dwayne Aaron being wide receiver one. Storm is also active in the locker room and a friendly addition to the cast of Liberty players. Another teammate I’m excited to see if Norman Bagwell from the Pythons as well. Bagwell was a top DT in the DSFL and applied great pressure on offensive lines that should translate well into the NSFL. With a front line of King, Kamaka, Davidson, and Bagwell the Liberty should be set up to compete for the playoffs this season and hopefully make it to the Ultimini for the first time ever. These 2 rookies were great additions to the Liberty and should develop into stars for the team in the future. Eli Kamaka is very excited for this upcoming season!

I can't wait to play with Cole McCoy. As much as I'm going to miss playing with a super star like Roenick, it's always nice to see an up and comer find his confidence and stride. I'll be shouldering more of the offensive workload this season, and there should be less pressure on McCoy than there was on Roenick, so it'll be great to get him in a situation where he's comfortable without too much pressure. As time goes up and McCoy finds his rhythm, it'll be fun to watch how the game plan changes to take advantage of his skill set. Teams are probably going to begin the season stacking the box against Portland, so there should be plenty of throwing lanes for McCoy to pick apart.

McCoy also seems like a great locker room presence. He's enthusiastic and a hard worker, everything you can ask for of a young QB. Portland probably isn't the overwhelming pre-season favorite like they've been in the past, but they'll put a strong team on the field week to week and should start clicking a little later in the season than usual. As long as we make the playoffs, I think there's a great chance at redemption to bring the Ultimini back home where it belongs, in Portland.

I am most looking forward to playing with is the newest spooky kicker, Forfeit. Now, why am I excited to play with this guy? Well I’ve got a few reasons. The first and most obvious is the fact that he’s a real person and not me. You can only say so much to yourself, you know?

But I feel like a guy with a name like @Forfeit and really join me on my quest for evil. I mean, if there is anybody suited to take on the mantle of ErMurazor, it is a guy who’s name sounds like he has already been banned right? I am excited to test Forfeit and see if he is strong enough to take on an apprenticeship of sorts, to bring the Wraiths a championship. It looks like he has what it takes to really grind out some point tasks and I am sure I can show him how to throw together some “quality” graphics.

Just don’t tell @Bzerkap because he’s a good guy that is trying to keep the Yellowknife ship on track.

Player Joseph Askins of the New Orleans Second Line is most excited to play with his new teammate Brian Mills, who played in the DSFL on the best defensive team the DSFL has ever seen. Brian Mills and Joseph Askins have a lot of history with each before joining each other on the New Orleans Second Line. They both help coach and manage the Tijuana Luchadores, after Brian Mills was approached last season to take over as a coach in Tijuana. Obviously, this deep history with each other will help their chemaitry on and off the field. They are both looking to help a completely revamped defense, with Askins being one of the best defensive tackles in the league, and Brian Mills coming off of one of the best seasons ever as a linebacker in the DSFL. The two enjoy spending time together in the locker room talking about football strategy or working out, working on their skills for the NSFL. Although the organization has been the laughing stock of the league for a long time, the New Orleans Second Line is looking to improve drastically with the addition of these two to their defense. The two players love being teammates on and off the field!
