I 100% agree, JKortesi. I've been here in the NSFL since S2. I've seen the rise of an empire and the fall of another. Despite the massive powerhouse teams that sit atop the ASFC, the NSFC always seemed like the way more competitive division. I remember the Liberty being the lowest of the pole. Now they're poised to be one of the top teams in the NSFL. Yellowknife are perennial threats. Baltimore is never out of the mix. Colorado has been the joke of the division and it must be frustrating as all hell being on that team. By the grace of God (and being BWestfield's RL friend) I landed on the Otters. If I was on your team, I'd be saying the exact same thing, except last season or earlier. San Jose went from a bottom barrel team to a legit threat to our 3rd straight shot at the Ultimus Trophy in a matter of 2-3 seasons. Despite finding out that 1/2 the team was Er Multis, Arizona has maintained a very competitive level. And the ONLY reason the Second Line is where they are is because of a very poor management in the past, and like your article pointed out, they've already made changes that bode very well for their future. Meanwhile, the Yeti stagnate and somehow find ways to lose despite adding what look to be great pieces every season through the draft.

I don't have an answer for you, man. But I empathize with your pain. Whatever it is you end up doing, be it strike and demand changes from within, to demand a trade, or just keep going and hoping for the best, I wish you all the luck. Players like you are what we need more of in this league. You got a thirst and hopefully, we'll see it quenched one day.

I know we've talked about it before in the Pythons LR and I can tell how frustrated you, Aaron, and Bobby are about things when I've chatted with all of you one on one. I do encourage you to find what's best for your player and find what keeps you active here in the long run. I believe the Yeti have excellent talent overall and are only a few moves away from being competitive.

If that's true, then as a S7 prospect I can say Colorado are going to have a very difficult time with their scouting. Ultimately they have the power with the draft pick of course, but it won't make life easy if players don't want to end up there.

What @timeconsumer said is spot on: this is a game that people play to have a good time. A few tough seasons is OK if the team is trending upwards and the culture is there, but for a founding team to have spent 6 seasons languishing at the bottom of the league and there still not be an end to their woes in sight, there's clearly a problem.

I'm not opposed to being on a team that needs some time and work before things turn around, and I was excited about joining the Coyotes and helping them go from worst to first, but if it's a team that needs some time and work and the management are indifferent about their success, that's a different story.

I hope for yours and the league's sake that the Yeti turn things around. Good luck!

Oh man. Not sure I can add anything that hasn’t been said but I think it’s good you went public about it.

Fun history lesson, after S1 some Hawks player did something very similar (I forget who exactly... I wanna say either manicmav or cosbornballboy) and they’ve turned it around in a big way.

Hope you and the rest of the Yeti are able to find a place where you’re enjoying the league

To be clear, this was in character. I needed some money and I wrote up the standard "player unhappy with losing" article.

In reality everyone in that awesome locker room is just dumbfounded by our bad luck. Pierno works hard, as do the GMs and everyone else. It's definitely going to get better, but we're all a bit frustrated right now.

I definitely don't want to dissuade players from coming here because of an in character post.

Hmmmm... I don't think it could be either of those two. Cos wasn't a Hawk til S3 and manic was like me - an S2 draftee. So both of them were here when the Hawks were good. It's probably someone who's not here anymore.

I love how everyone was taking this seriously when it was in character, but no one takes Adam's seriously. I agree that his was a goofier and more obvious joke, but this was a completely in character post. People using this to say "Yeti LR is cancer" are just fucking dumb.
