Ha true.
For what it's worth, my plan from the start was to absolutely dominate this season and win the hypothetical trophy. And, if that doesn't happen, then my plan was instead to build a dynasty that would be competitive for several seasons to come...

The idea is building for the future. Different GMs may do it different ways. Some may want to stock up on S1 talent and embrace a later rebuild, others will grab stashes of S3-S6 players to make their team strong for seasons to come. Like SwagSloth and AdamS have said, it's up to the GM.
