It's an alternative. I do not like the current system we have. If we don't want a tier system, I say we should go with sapp's system of 12/15. 10/15 makes it too lenient.

I like the tier system too, but if we don't go with that I also like sapp's system more personally
But then again who knows, maybe (hopefully) the HOF committee will be pretty stringent with their votes and its a non-issue

The number of votes needed should definitely be one of the things we monitor most closely as the Hall of Fame gets off the ground. 10/15 might be sufficient depending on how stingy the committee is or it might be way too low but I think it's a good place to start.
Obviously it'll fluctuate wildly year to year but what percentage of the league do we think should end up in the HoF in general?

I agree that the threshold should be higher. 66.67% is just better than average, which isn't HOF-worthy at all. Also definitely would not want a tiered system. You're either in or you're not.
80% should be the cut-off as a minimum. The HOF needs to be hard to get into to mean something.

I think people dont realize that most of the time when a majority of HO and GMs agree, its usually all of us except 1 or 2 people. I guess its fine to have 12/15 but its not as big as of a deal as you think.

Yeah, the HOF threshold should be higher. Basically a HOF should immortalize that player, and there shouldn’t be much doubt at all over who is HOF worthy

Yeah. Its the Hall of Fame. I doubt anyone's gonna vote based on a player being "pretty good"
