(S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - TheMemeMaestro - 05-05-2018 In my opinion there is only one true act that we can bring in that will suit all the fans. A true icon of pop culture. A group of musical geniuses the likes of which has never been seen before and will never seen again. His soothing voice against the microphone is enough to give you goosebumps as he softly sings in his blessed voice... "LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAAAAAAAPH." It stuns you and silences you. The beauty is apparent. The perfection is stunning. The sound lingers and you wish to lap up the remaining extra bits but just like that it is gone. So you must wait for him to continue and continue he does. He gives us all the show of a lifetime, a dream performance. He goes on for longer than the entire rest of the game combined. An amazing 4 hour saga is completed and everyone, tears in their eyes, give the standing ovation he deserves. (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - Renrut - 05-05-2018 This isn’t going to be my official response, but Kanye saying Shoopity whoop poop would be fire. (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - timeconsumer - 05-05-2018 An ideal halftime show to the Ultimus championship would not involve music. No that is something we can all agree is boring and costs too much money. We would rather see more sports in between our sports. And what is more entertaining than watching football besides watching more football? Instead what we will do is trot out the bots from the Solar Bears and the Seawolves with some slight "modifications" to their programming. We just crank up the aggression about 300%. That should do the trick. Now we've got bots trying to rip eachothers heads off. That's freaking awesome. But wait, there's more. We also installed flamethrowers and chainsaws onto the bots. Yeah buddy, better hope you're not sitting in the front couple of rows because you're going to get sprayed with hydraulic fluid as Steve Fuller slices and dices his way through the opposing defense while his linemen throw blocks with flamethrowers. It's going to be fucking awesome. (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - ExemplaryChad - 05-05-2018 The only appropriate halftime show for the NSFL isn’t a show at all. Instead, we have a need for some civility, some somberness, and some reflection in these trying times for both the league and the world at large. There are terrible things going on, and our halftime “entertainment” should reflect this. No, instead of a raucous, frenetic halftime show like that other league chooses to do, we should have a twenty-minute moment of silence. It would be in remembrance of all of those who have lost their lives trying to make the world a better place. Those who fought and died for our right to celebrate how we choose. I’m talking, of course, about those who have lost their lives during Super Bowl halftime shows. There’s the kid who took a selfie with Justin Timberlake. There’s the notoriously exuberant Left Shark from Katy Perry’s performance. And we must never forget the greatest sacrifice of all: Janet Jackson’s boob. May all of these brave souls RIP in peace forevermore. And there's a few reasons. 1. They're dope. 2. They're a collection of individuals that met on the internet and came together to form something awesome. Sound familiar? Kind of what some of the OG members of the NSFL did to form the NSFL. BROCKHAMPTON just did it by getting together on a Kanye West subreddit and decided to make beautiful music rather than a sports league. 3. I think they're just obscure enough to agree to do it, while still drawing a huge crowd. And finally, 4. They put out 3 albums in a year. The NSFL cranks out like 6 or 7 seasons per year. Again, another parallel. These guys fit this league so well, they'd be a great first half-time show. Even if we just paused the sim for like 10 minutes and played Saturation III, I'd stay for the whole sim. 166 words (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - OBESE - 05-05-2018 There is no more questions needed as I already have the best half-time show performer in my mind and I believe that everyone will have fun, everyone will dance, we can make some awesome sign to give out for the half-time show as well. So the performer that I would suggest as the half-time show star would be the native artist of Ukraine - Verka Serduchka or for English speakers - Vera Sweetheart! You could call this performer as a drag queen as that would be the closest thing for American audience as it is a man who uses his alter ego Verka, who happens to be a women, but that all is for show as post soviet union countries are not keen about gay people, but no worries, he is not gay, just a great performer and artist. Her/his shows are always high pace and fun and she plays music that just naturally makes you move, want it or not. Such show will get any crowd fired up and dancing. Some of her/his best songs are: *vse budet horoswo (everything is going be alright) *gop gop gop (chug, chug, chug) *tuk tuk tuk (knock, knock, knock) and of course who can forget her's/his eirovision performance - Russia goodbye! This song probably could be adjusted a little bit and made into whichever team we are playing goodbye! For example Pythons goodbye! Here is a little example of the song and what to expect from the half-show: [iframe width=\\\"560\\\" height=\\\"315\\\" src=\\\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/hfjHJneVonE\\\" frameborder=\\\"0\\\" allowfullscreen][/iframe] (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - Renrut - 05-05-2018 The best halftime show we can possibly come up with is a collection of my favorite rappers/artists, currently alive, obviously. Not yours. Mine. Because that would be dope. Now, you may like the same ones I do, cool, and you may not like some of them, so go fuck yourself. I got a list, here’s the order of my list that it’s in, it goes Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, KRS-One, E-40, Andre 3000, and Weezy. From time to time I’ll even dabble with Yeezy. Some of you say “these guys suck man,” but let me tell you all when I like these guys, it was all Gods Plan, but we ain’t out here talking about Drake, man. I think the dudes trash, but what do I know? All these guys out here rapping about hoes, but sometimes that’s just how it goes. Now that you’ve got a taste of my lyrical prowess, let’s go put on a show for these people and make it the loudest. (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - Alfredo_Pasta - 05-05-2018 So the Nsfl head office wants our opinions on who should be the first ever halftime performer for the next ultimus, which the Wraiths will win. I have an opinion all right. I think we should do something crazy. We need to get the red hot chili peppers to come play but ass naked wearing only a sock over there dick and balls. I think it would be good for views during half time.. all the laddie's will be tuning in to see that. Plus they're one hell of a good bad. They used to do some crazy shit like that back in the day. Hell give them some drugs and they'll do it. Either that or get a half naked girl out there singing. That'll bring in make views.. if I wasn't playing in this year's ultimus I would tune in to see that. Just don't tell my wife I said that. Word count:153 (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - PigSnout - 05-05-2018 We could hire a musical act for the first ever Ultimus half time show, but where's the originality in that? You can listen to music anytime you want, this show should be a special experience that you can't get normally. That is why we should hire these guys to be the performers at the NSFL's Ultimus Half Time Show: [iframe width=\\\"560\\\" height=\\\"315\\\" src=\\\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/Hp5sA99B3jY\\\" frameborder=\\\"0\\\" allowfullscreen][/iframe] How often do you get to see dogs that talented? This would be a truly interesting and unique experience for the visiting fans to see during the game to make the NSFL's first Ultimus half time show be truly memorable. Whatever musical act you choose for the show is bound to draw criticism since some people will like them while others will dislike them, but this act would be almost universally praised because everybody loves dogs. While the traditional choice would be to choose a musical act for the halftime show, the NSFL has a chance here to do something more unique and interesting by hiring these dogs as their halftime performers. Quote:170 Words (S7) - Weekend PT 4 - Half-Time Show - Dawegg - 05-06-2018 Honestly, the NSFL could put anyone out there during halftime and it would be absolutely okay. The fans are there for the game, only the people at home really care about the show and then tune out after that. Most of the time everyone is either excited or extremely disappointed with the performance they get. The Ultimus halftime is just an extended period of rest and strategic adjustments for the teams involved. The timeslot halftime takes up improves the quality of the game as we have seen in recent years. There's not really a reason to change how we deal with one of the most anticipated events in sports. It's a formula that works, and generally any pop singer is a good selection. From a purely business standpoint, there's not that much money to be made in appealing to the masses. The demographic that buys the jerseys and keeps supporting the league are the fans of our teams, not people who watch one game for the spectacle. Quote:Word Count: 167 |
