(S8) - Weekend PT 4 - Media Day - Connair - 06-16-2018

Wassup world! You’re looking at the newest recruit on the block, Con Nair. Im gonna be the next star! You just wait and see! Don’t mistake me for your average corner. I have the skillset to be one of the best. Teams seeing this should want to acquire me, because if they don’t have me, they’ll wish they did when they see me on the field. All in all, I would find it an awesome opportunity to play for any team. But, again, let me remind you that you won’t want to be on the other team. As for the team I want to play for, I think there are several places that would be a blast to play at. Palm Beach would be a great place to play at. I could fill my off days with lots of fun activities out on the beautiful eastern florida beaches. Portland would be great too! Oregon just sounds like a cool state to live in and I could maybe catch a few trailblazers games while Im there.

Con Nair out *mic drop*

(S8) - Weekend PT 4 - Media Day - Leafer - 06-16-2018

Hello everyone. Thank you all for coming out for the media availability. Now I have no idea why you guys would waste my time coming to see me because honestly, that is just pointless. Out of all players who did not get a chance to meet the media and you pick arguably the biggest snob in the National Sim Football League or in the history. If you guys did not know, I come from Toronto and the media there is completely cancerous and idiotic. The media in Portland were very good and they were my best friends and then I come to Baltimore and one word comes out of my mind thinking about you guys, a joke. You ask terrible questions and terrible topics which by the way is probably the reason for our past collapses and failures so thanks, guys. Now since I have no right to get asked questions, I will ask myself some questions so you guys can fuck off. Now how about our team?

We have a great team and arguably the greatest squad in football and probably one of the best in history. We got an elite quarterback in Blocksdale who is better than Boss now even though he cannot fuck off with the picks and sacks which we cannot even do. We got so good receivers and it is not even close to how good they are compared to other teams but I would rather not talk about it because I really miss passing the ball to them. Fuck offense, how about some defense. We got the best defense with Toivo and of course Valentine. But how about the duo of myself and Asipi because we both still hate each other's guts for some reason but we are a great and possibly the greatest defense duo in the history of NSFL.

Now now, hey shut up. You want to talk about our season so far and I knew you guys would as me that because you guys want to not only piss the fuck out of me but also want to know what the hell is happening. Well, I got the answer, I do not know. All I know is God is against us and someone from our team has not been praying a lot recently and needs to go to Church. Our offense has been there and special teams I do not know but our defense oh my god. The last 5 games, we have probably the worst defense ever and it has been complete shit. I have been garbage so far with fewer tackles and it is so funny that I cannot buy a god damn interception. You know, what fuck you all. I hate talking to you guys, You guys are my nightmare and I do not appreciate that. My name is Austin Roenick and I won the best rookie defensive player and I deserve respect.

Written: Must Include 150 Words. Every player has to meet with the media eventually, and your player is asked to do an interview with various news outlets and sports reporters. Write about what you say to the media about your team at this point. Talk about how the season is going so far, talk about plans for the future or anything else. Note: If you're a player who has just been approved and doesn't have a team, talk about stuff like what team you'd like to go to, what type of player you want to be, so on. Also, you are not Marshawn Lynch, you are not here so you won't get fined, if you say that as your main point on the interview you will not receive credit for the PT.

Lavelle is fresh off of his 34th career interception since entering the league way back in S1 as a waiver player and S2 as an official draftee. Many have questioned the longevity of Lavelle and pose the question " Just how long will Lavelle play? " He will after all turn thirty years old, which for a cornerback at this level is often followed by a steep decline in ability and production.

Really I think I can go till at least S12, S13 maybe at a stretch. Obviously I won't be at the same level of ability when I'm heading towards the hill but I should have at least 4/5 seasons left in the tank to perform at this level after this season.

Yellowknife are 8-2 this seasons and after last years 13-1 record followed by a horrendous conference finals exit to the soon to be champions, Philadelphia Liberty. I just hope this season we can actually be competitive in the post season , Lavelle added before exiting the press conference.

Media: Next up with have San Jose Linebacker Ben Horne

Ben: Thanks everyone for being here, I will take any and all questions.

Media: Ben, you are playing on a 1 and 9 team right now. Very different from your time in the DSFL. Is this a shock to you? Or something you think you are prepared for?

Ben: Well first off, I support this team win or lose. Second, this team is in a rebuild, the front office clearly discussed with me after being drafted, and I am proud to be at the center of that rebuild. Looking at the state of the league right now, a lot of teams have older guys who can’t be around that much longer. I would like to think SJS front office sees this and is preparing by getting younger first. The Bayley trade is a great example of this, and using their S8 first round picks on Brad and myself will be huge for this team in the future. So, while this year is a tough season, I see us winning a championship or two in the coming years.

Media: As a rookie, how well do you think you fit with this team?

Ben: The fit is great. We want to be a force on defense, particularly in the pass rush. I do think I need to continue to improve though. Looking at my stat lines, I am only marginally better than my time in the DSFL, despite a huge jump in training. The competition is certianly harder, but I need to be a dominate force for this team.

"You know, this is an exciting time in Tijuana. Our GM, Epictitus Milburn has assembled a strong roster from top to bottom. This team is really something. I think we still have a lot to work on in practice every day, but we're really proving that this group of mighty Luchadores has not fallen off one bit from our Ultimini season. We are really beginning to trend towards making the playoffs. I'm really grateful that Milburn and the other high representatives in our organization decided to take a flier on me. I know people think of me as a phenom. I know people think of me as a record threat. I even know that there are some out there who consider me to be a potential 1st rounder. But I'm trying not to let all that talk get to me. We have 4 more games, and I'm going to focus first and foremost on getting Tijuana back to the Playoffs."

It is very tough for me to be here tonight after a pair of games that we should have won but did not. The team as a whole is visibly frustrated because we know we are much better than our record shows. We’ve been awful on both sides of the game with very clear mistakes that need to be addressed soon if we even want a chance to make playoffs at this point.

It doesn’t matter what I achieve as a player. My personal stats, my 10 touchdowns so far mean nothing if we as a team cannot make it into the playoffs. I believe in management and that we can still make it but at the end of the day we perform on the field, not the coaches, but us the players. If we still cannot get it done, there has to be a sit down with every one of us and a shake-up will have to be performed. Thank You.

Journalist: How has the trade to the Hawks been so far?

Marmeladov: It's been a little strange for sure. You know we have been their rivals for so long and now I’m on their team looking at the team I have been on for so long as the enemy. But the guys here have been great and acclimated me with open arms.

J: With news of one your Liberty friends Tyler Oles announcing retirement, is the time coming for you as well?

M: You know I would be lying if I said that I haven’t thought about it recently but as of right now my body still feels good and as long as someone out there wants to keep letting me help their team, I’m going to be around.

J: How disappointing has been coming into Baltimore and dropping the first 3 games since joining them?

M: Very...You know I want to win there's no question about that. No matter what team I am on, I want to go out there and impact the game in a positive way for my team. You know we aren't out of it yet. We just need to buckle down and figure things out. And we have to do it quick because we are not in the position to take our time and regroup.

Borkus Maximus III takes the stand. "Yeah I uh think we're gonna do good uh in the playoffs. This uhhh newfound success is umm definitely a new and ehhh fresh feeling for me, uhhh and I gotta say, it feels good. Umm yeah It feels really good. We aren't ahhhh um letting it get to our head, though ya know. We uh we know that there umm is a lot of work left ahh to be done. Uhhhh do I think we have a shot at um a shot at unseating the uhh Otters? Maybe um even at establishing uhh home field advantage in the ahh playoffs? Uhh... I think we do. Um... I genuinely believe that we do. But it's gonna take work. Everyday. Uhh.. At practice. We gotta um... we gotta go hard in practice. You uh.. you play the way you practice, you know? So uh... that's what we're going to do."
