I deeply care about Dan. In fact, I DM'd Dan to tell him how much I respected him and how much of my frustration stemmed from knowing how much of an asset he was when we weren't fighting. That may not sound like much to the average reader, but Dan and I used to be quite friendly, from the moment he joined NSFL, and we'd even had some good moments in the NSFL.
