I believe the concept and idea of Dotts is actually pretty good, the PBE already uses a similar system except here the main difference of course is that you have actually pay for the packs. Now I'm going to be completely honest, I don't have any intention to actually ever buy a pack, mostly due to the fact that I'm definitely on the poorer side of the users in the league. And while 500k doesn't seem like much to users with over tens of millions in the bank, it will definitely impacts your bank account for users without other forms of continuous income. So where does this leave us? Well I feel a change that could make an actual difference in my buying patterns would be an introduction to an auction house that would serve as a hub for where players could sell and buy various cards. Similarly to how Madden Ultimate Team does it, creating an auction house would only increase the amount of players buying packs due to an actual market forming. Also it was in any way possible, I would have so players could even sell the packs they buy before they open them, this would also improve the market as users with large bank accounts could pay users with smaller accounts for packs.

Dotts cards are largely considered a success throughout the league. It's main purpose, I believe, was to take money out of the system so people weren't as rich. This is definitely what happened, as many people subscribed to buy a pack every day, including myself, and throughout the week more and more people have been buying packs as time goes on. This doesn't mean that everything is perfect with the dotts. There are well-known players throughout the league that deserve cards of their own, like quarterback Gimmy Jarroppolo. In addition to this, the dotts website doesn't work on chrome, which is definitely the main issue. I had to download fire ofx just to get my cards, and I don't like that. Anither big problem is that you don't get to keep duplicates, so basically a whole card is wasted every time you get a dupe, and this is going to severely lower the number of people who want to trade, because they don't have duplicates they can easily part ways with. This brings me into the third problem, there isn't any trading. Right now, cards just sit in people's websites, and they just brag about their lucky pulls while I'm chilling with my reds. If there was trading I also feel like this would cause more people to open packs, thus increasing the dotts' success. I also think you should be able to sell your dotts to other players, because it's already done its job of taking money out of the economy, and this is simply a transfer of where the money is.

With regards to the league's economy, there are many ways to help manage the money flow. The introduction of Dotts has helped to achieve said goal in that regard. However, as I am not well-versed in trading cards, I have a few ideas to help restructure the nature of money within the league. In this case, the question is: how do we take money out of league? I believe that this can be done in a few ways. I believe that increasing the salary cap for all teams would allow teams to offer an increased amount of money to their players in order to promote more spending within the league. In addition, when making these contracts, there should be incentive-based bonuses within them such as if you reach a certain stat or if your team makes the playoffs. In addition, I believe that the money scale for the pressers and media within the league should be restructured a bit so as to incentive and increased pay scale if you are a repeat writer who writes a lot or if you have written over a long period of time. I hope that these changes and help take money out of the league to help improve the money flow.
