RE: (S30) Offseason Point Task - Exilate - 07-16-2021

The reason I joined sim leagues was because of the people. I wanted to find a great community to be a part of and find my way into a locker room with great people. So far in the ISFL, I have found it.

To start, I wanted to thank @Tonzy and @GuitarMaster116 . I was drafted in the 8th round of the S27 DSFL draft. I had a rocky start after joining the ISFL and missed many scouting messages. Theirs was one of the ones I responded to and I'm so glad I did. I was ready to just give up and go IA and focus on the PBE, but you guys took a chance on me. You guys helped me out greatly and introduced me to an amazing locker room. @j00 @Amulos @dude_man as my fellow Tijuana rookies, thank you for making the locker room a great place I always look forward to getting a notification for. The Tijuana locker room is truly the reason I'm still in the ISFL.

Next up @"Punter715" and @ShnarlyDude . Pat was active in the Tijuana locker room, and I guess I made enough of an impression to trick you guys into drafting me in the 3rd round in the S28 ISFL draft. There is no other team I would've rather went to. You guys are doing an amazing job in Philly building a great team and an even better locker room. @Luciddreams702 @Ace @xtitanxmvpx @Amulos @Magnet @AgentSmith @WildfireMicro @negs @Hordle @bluesfan55 @Jimi64 @xenosthelegend @J0EB @juniped sharing the Philly locker room with you guys is an absolute gift. You make the locker room fun, help anyone if they need it, cheer on wins and boo losses. You guys are one of the best groups of people I've met.

Finally, thank you @Kotasa for taking me on as co-GM of the Tijuana Luchadores. It has already been really fun GMing with you and building the next Ultimini winning team.

Also a big thank you for making the sim league experience fun to
@slothfacekilla
@124715
@bowl0
@Daybe
@mithrandir

and finally
@wuma ily boo

sorry if I missed you!

RE: (S30) Offseason Point Task - 124715 - 07-16-2021

As you can probably tell, I left this PT until the very very end. And during this process of procrastination, I realized that I wouldn't be able to shout out everyone across my four year history in the league as I'd originally intended to do. So instead, I'm just going to shout out a few of my favorite people on the current teams I'm on - Kansas City and Honolulu.

The first person is noanic, my co GM this year and one of the best scouting conversations I've ever had as well as one of my first since coming back to the league. Noa is such a joy to talk to and despite him calling it "spam" he does need to GM me more often.

There's also Glims and simo, my first GMs since joining the league again. Glims made a fantastically positive impression on me ever since he reached out to chat with me before claiming me on waivers. He was always a great, thorough, and funny GM. There's also simo, who unfortunately departed before I spent much time on the team and I think before I made the war room, but he's fantastic. Also a top-tier GM in the LR and a super fun person to DM and talk to.

And then my other GMs, frazzle and WAU. What a fun, enthusiastic pair of GMs to have as a rookie and with a very good on-field result as well. They were nothing but great to have in the LR at all times, as well as being super nice. WAU I remember you saying you didn't know what you were doing then cooking up a strat to knock off a top team on the road like it was nothing. As for frazzle, you always had such fun scouting conversations while you were on the team that really helped our team a lot.

I'm out of space. I'll continue this later.

RE: (S30) Offseason Point Task - Luciddreams702 - 07-16-2021

Wow where do I start, most people that know me by now know this was my first sim league and simply put I would not have become as hooked or involved with out the amazing community of people in the League. If I don’t tag you just know I really do appreciate everyone who makes the ISFL great.

First I have to thank @Painted. You were one of the first people to scout me, you brought me into my first ISFL Locker Room and helped me get situated around the League. Since our first scouting conversation We’ve gotten along and you’ve become one of my favorite people in this league. You were one of the most influential people in keeping me active to the Draft.

My London Royals family you guys are amazing. I spend a majority of my time in the London Locker Room and we really do have some of the best people. @slate and @katarn22 thank you for taking a chance on me in the Draft even though I know I wasn’t the player you wanted with that pick. I hope we all agree it worked out well. You took a chance on a newbie and I tried to make sure you guys never regretted that decision. You then took a chance on me again and helped me achieve my Sim League goal of becoming GM. It’s very rare that I’m left speechless but you managed to achieve that. I’m not sure I can ever thank you enough. So once again, Thank you.
@DeadlyPlayer I’m so glad we were able to bring you back it wouldn’t have felt right without you. You’ve been such a huge part of the London Locker Room since I stepped foot in it. I’ve spent many late nights locked in on a Deadly screen share watching some of the most ridiculous videos I’ve ever seen. @Modern_Duke like you said in yours you’re my movie buff bud it’s nice to have someone to chat about movies with even if we agree to disagree on some lol.
@platanocator plant cat as my phone likes to call him, I’ve shared some of the most hilarious moments of my ISFL career with you.
@Sebster you’re quickly becoming one of my favorite users no matter when or where we seem to always have funny conversations. I’m
looking forward to continuing to get to know you. The once Rookies that have come into the Royals Locker Room as part of the S30 class @Dolphins, @SaviorHawkins, @TakaMori152, @Dp-420, you guys have been great and I feel like together you will achieve something great this season. Shoutout to my S29 Defensive brothers @EricNCSU and @kingtag1999 it’s been great playing alongside you guys. It’s reassuring to start my GM career knowing I have you guys to help anchor the defense.
@BOOM™ you truly are the best. Good luck this season man thanks you for everything you’ve done for me.
@Pib you were the best mentor I could have asked for. You were beyond helpful with all my stupid questions and really helped me shape my player the way I wanted him to turn out. Thank you for all your help.

My Philadelphia Family I can’t wait to continue building friendships with you. Pat and Cody 4th overall.. Thank you I wanted to come here but didn’t think it was actually gonna happen. I’m looking forward to hitting the field for you guys. Pat thanks for the recipe talk one of my favorite new drinks came from your suggestion. @WildfireMicro you scouted me.. twice and have always been a big part of every locker room I’m active in. @Jimi64 and @J0EB two of the biggest reasons I wanted to come to Philly. You guys made me feel welcome and like part of the family immediately and I didn’t want to go anywhere else.

@Kotasasince creating my wiki page we’ve always had good conversations. Hosting Game Day with you has been great and I’m looking forward to this upcoming season.

@xtitanxmvpxand @shrub02 my statisphere co host doing this show with you have been great I can’t wait to show you the bloopers and highlights we have created. The time we spend recording is one of my favorite things about this League.

@TheCC I had to give you a shoutout you even though we barely cross paths anymore I’ve still enjoyed getting to know you.

@MMFLEXwhat’s up bb?

RE: (S30) Offseason Point Task - GlimsTC - 07-16-2021

After seeing all the amazing things people have been tagging me in, it's finally my turn to return the favor! I apologize in advance if I missed you at all in the names below, but know I am grateful for pretty much every encounter I've had with people in this league.

@Starboy @Buttersqauch101 Wanted to start things off with the two people who mean the most to me in this league. When I started out here, I never imagined I'd find people I care about as much I care about the two of you. We've had a ton of ups and downs, fun nights and painful times, but through it all, I'm glad that we're friends at all. You two are like brothers to me, and I hope that once we all move on from here, we'll continue to be friends for life. Thank you both for everything you've done for me and with me.

@.simo Man oh man, what I'd do to be able to bring back our dynamic duo. GMing KCC with you was one of the funnest things I will ever do in a sim league. Genuinely nothing will come close in sim leagues for me to how special it felt to work with you on something like this. It's a shame we've found ourselves in so many different spots since then, but I will always consider you a very good friend and someone who I hold in high regard. I hope one day we can figure out a way to talk more again, but until then, just know I've very thankful for you and for getting to work with you for those few months we did.

@slate I really can't thank you enough for how much time and energy you put into helping KCC run smoothly during your time there. I don't think Simo and I could have done what we did without the efforts put forth by you. Letting you go to London was such a tough experience for me, but I'm glad you had the opportunity to do things your own way and further help push the league forward in culture and simming. We haven't really talked much in quite a while, but I really am happy to see that it seems you're doing well. Thanks for being such a great and reliable friend.

@WhatAmUs THE MAN! I wish we coulda worked together more as KCC GMs, but you absolutely rocked the job, dude. Outside of that, you've just exceeded all expectations anyone could have ever set for you. You're such an awesome people's person and really know how to inspire people and uplift the mood around you. I really do wish I could be more like you sometimes with just how socially skilled you are. Really grateful for being able to know you and be your friend, and I hope we can keep being friends for a long time to come.

@frazzle14 My man, I never expected us to end up having such intertwining careers in the ISFL, but I'm really glad we have. Giving up the GM position was something that I was always worried about, as letting up control of anything is just scary, lol. But I'm so glad you took up the mantle in my place and I couldn't have asked for a better duo running the show. It sucks that the Baltimore situation didn't pan out for us, but I hope Austin has been as good to you as it has been for me. I'm glad we've been able to work together as much as we have here, in the Halo league, and just in general. You really are a great and reliable friend, Frazzle.

@RDBSouthPaw I will always appreciate the effort you put in to so many things around the league, and for helping push for me to be a part of KCC and Austin. It's actually crazy how much of my league experience can be accredited to your influence or teachings, and ow many people can say the same thing. You're an absolutely wonderful person and I'm so glad I've gotten the chance to know you through sim leagues.

@124715 My biggest regret is still typing all those reasons for why I shouldn't draft you. You are an absolutely wonderful person to be around and are an actually impressive individual with how much you're able to do. When Slate left KCC, I admit I was incredibly worried about how things would go for us, but you pretty much stepped up and filled in the role better than any one else could have.

@Frostbite @siddhus @jeffie43 You three are awesome, plain and simple. Nothing would make my day better than seeing one of you pop in and start chatting it up in text or VC. Really can't thank you guys enough for being absolute positive pleasures to not only be around, but to be friends with.

@Matty7478 @PMoney @sakrosankt @mcgriddleluver @ShnarlyDude Thank you guys a ton for being such a wonderful group of people to work with in the KCC war room! KCC truly felt like a well oiled machine with just how much we were all able to get done as a group, and I genuinely can't thank each of you enough for helping make it that way and keep it that way.

@Amidships @Kyle @Kyamprac @Mooty99 @Tonzy Thank you guys so much for giving Frazzle and me a shot in Austin. It's been a really wonderful time there and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to be able to work with and play for. And of course, thanks for allowing me to be a big caps lock whacko in the LR on gameday, lol.

RE: (S30) Offseason Point Task - Sylphreni - 07-16-2021

Having GM’ed in this league for a minute or two now, I have long made the argument that players I have drafted along the way are like sons and daughters to me. People I have come to know and love, who have grown up in this league, and who are really doing some incredible things… even though they might not be associated with me or my team at this point in time.

I could wax on for faaaar more than 300 words about all the wonderful people and prospects I met through London, and perhaps even longer still about the absolutely fantastic people in Colorado… how proud I am of the place we’ve all created there, or how important each one of them is to me, but let's be realistic. You don’t see Kim Jong-un talking about how amazing his accountant is… so like any good Tyrant, I’ll avoid the aforementioned groups and say simply I love you all, specifically I love how much you have feared me.

So, on to the meat of the thing. I want to mention and thank my “dads” from the London Royals. The guys who took a gamble, rolled the dice, and drafted a completely new user, over many more qualified options. You both are fantastic, and I want to shout you out.

@DeadlyPlayer : I love Deadly. Plain and simple. Everything that London has become originates in him. He may be the single most committed individual to anything in this league that I have had the pleasure to work with. His dedication to London is inspiring, and regardless of if he realizes it or not his handiwork is over everything that team has stood for all these seasons later. Deadly is one of the best locker room guys I’ve ever seen, and the way he interacted with prospects in London is top notch work, and a blueprint that many followers after him have come to know and follow. Have there been a few “motherfuckers” along the way? Sure, but every single one was well worth it. I am sad he’ll be leaving us in Colorado after this coming season, but I’m forcing myself to believe maybe it’s just him pretending to be his favorite player, Andrew Luck…. Because he’s coming back right? Right? RIGHT?

Love you Deadly <3

@Modern_Duke : Just today I told the Yeti locker room I’d kiss Duke on the mouth, and it’s absolutely true. Duke has always been an inspiration for me in team management, as well as a steadying, reliable force in any War Room I’ve been a part of. I remember early on in my GMing career with London, after debating a decision for several hours, Duke yelling at me to “just make a fucking decision and move on.” And ya know what…. He was right. Duke’s a big part of why I’m still in the league, and I’m incredibly thankful we were able to bring him back to Colorado. No War Room is complete without a Modern_Duke, but this one is mine… get your own.

RE: (S30) Offseason Point Task - mango8154 - 07-16-2021

First of all I like the positivity, second of all my memory is bad so if I forget anyone, me big dumb. Now let's get into it.

First of all I want to thank my gods @TheCC and @RussDrivesTheBus, they chose to bring me to the Grey ducks and I can not thank them enough, I love it in Minn and I have had such a good time in these pretty bad times irl and those too are probably to thank for why I'm still in the league, and I would also like to thank @Crodyman for continuing cc’s work and creating such a good and fun place to be, all of them are fantastic and I wouldn’t want anyone else as my first gm’s and I thank them for even considering me for team captain a couple of (in game) years back. Also I wanna thank @ThunderTitan82 for scouting me, he obviously put a good word in, so cheers my guy.

Another group of people I want to shout out are my favorite bois. @Gragg9, @Painted and @shrub02, they are my fellow draftees of S27 (or S28 i can’t remember) that I have spent the most time talking with, they are my counting and RPG bros and make my day brighter everyday, Gragg is amazing when it comes to tracking stuff and is a league darling when it comes to info (at least in my eyes), don’t tell painted this but his jokes bring a smile to my face despite how bad they are, and Shrub is addicted to gambling send him help (jk not jk love you bro), I am so lucky to know them and I would rather be out the league than not know them.

I also want to shout out @Fronk and @IceBear32, they took over as captains the season after me and are great representatives of the team, they are great users and I am glad they are with us and the league is a better spot with them in it.

I wanna shout out @negs for his int game and for being amazing fun to talk too, also please don’t leave Semi-steller we need you

Shouting out @SnowyWolfz for being  my warhammer bro, I have been in vc with him alot and he is a hoot to talk with.

Also want to shout out my prospect bowl bro @xtitanxmvpx, he is always great to talk to and was one of the first faces i talked to in the league

Also wanna shout out @Void_DCXI, we had good banter to start, and he has really turned how he has been viewed around as he was seen in a slightly negative light at first, i haven't spoke to him in a while but he seems to be doing good in the league which is great

Let's go with my snake bro’s, @Tonzy and @RDBSouthPaw scouted me and help bring me in, whenever I talk to them they are really cool and I have had great conversations with them, I have no bad experiences apart from in halo (attrition too good) and I’m really grateful to them for helping me in the league, @WhatAmUs is a laugh to be around and I really enjoy talking and playing games with him. @Kyamprac and @Amidships are great, really fun to be around and I can’t wait to beat them in our football league, I can't wait to continue to hang out with all of my snake bois.
