Being independently wealthy himself, Nacho Varga opted for a team-friendly rookie contract. He has already bought all the fancy stuff he needs, so he has decided to get into the franchise business. Los Pollos Hermanos has the best chicken in the southwest, so it was the only brand Nacho considered. There is a long waiting list to become a franchisee, but Nacho used his connections to jump right to the front. He's decided to place it directly across from the A1 Car Wash. Bogdan can be a bit of a prick sometimes, but Nacho will overlook it and focus on the increased traffic in the area, partially due to the car wash across the street.

Nacho will work closely with the CEO of Los Pollos Hermanos, Gus Fring. Gus has been able to bring Los Pollos Hermanos from just one location in New Mexico, to now several across the state. His insight will be instrumental in making Nacho's locations one of the most profitable in the area. Nacho was able to convince Gus to have a special item on the menu: fried chicken nachos. Due to the upcoming season, Nacho will not be able to be as hands-on in the business as he would have liked, but he has put in place a top-notch management team to take care of things during the season.

Yeah it might be the beginning of Chase Jensen's career, but he also wants to think about life after football. That is why he isn't doing anything super elaborate with the money. You might be thinking "ahh so Jensen is going to invest the money or put it in the bank?" Well, you would absolutely be WRONG if you said that. Jensen doesn't trust the banks or the stock market. Who knows when that shit is going to crash and you lose everything. Wanna know what's not going to crash? Jensen's mattress and freezer. Hell yeah, you know it boy. Chase Jensen is stuffing his cash money into his mattress and for safe keeping gotta split it up so some of the money is going to be frozen. That way, Jensen always has quick access to cash when needed without the financial risk associated with the volatile American economic system. Oh yeah and for Mother's Day he is going to be buying his mom a nice card and a cake. She loves cake. Some might say she loves cake too much. Anyway so that is what Jensen is going to be doing with his brand new contract money. The Austin Copperheads offered him a financial adviser which he promptly and emphatically declined.

Well my new team in New Orleans really seems to have faith in me, they gave me a $14 million contract over 3 years, so I don’t really have to worry about money for a while. That’s good! One less thing. Got a lot of money this first year too, plus I get to try to go for one more Ultimini in Tijuana! My great uncle Dan found a place in New Orleans for me to live in, so I went to check that out and it’s a real nice house. Normally 7 people live in this place but Dan thought we should just buy the whole building so now there’s bedrooms for all my best good friends. It’s on a street named after some kind of alcohol company, I think. Whiskey Street or something like that. Then I bought some nice jewellery for my momma. She says she likes anything that sparkles so I went to some girl named Tiffany’s store and bought a sparkly bracelet. My momma seemed real happy when she opened it so that’s nice. Then I had to buy new equipment. I don’t really know what was wrong with last year’s gear but everyone else was buying new stuff, so why not? What happens to the old equipment anyways?

Xerxes Ridley has never been an extravagant man. Coming from a single-parent home with just enough money to get by in San Francisco, Ridley knows what it's like to live on just the bare necessities. Ridley's mother has always been his biggest fan and he saw her struggle to get by after his father passed away. As such, Ridley has been giving 30% of every paycheck that he's received to her, even though she has frequently asked him to stop. This signing bonus is nothing different. Part of his money is going to his mother for her to spend as she pleases and the rest is going to straight into Ridley's savings account. As a young player in the league, he hasn't quite had the time yet to invest his money, so he is just sitting on it until a promising opportunity presents itself. Of course, while Ridley lives in a meager apartment in Portland, he spares no expense when it comes to investments for his craft. He pays for the best dietitians, equipment, personal trainers, and doctors. Ridley already understands that his body will only hold up for as long as he takes care of it, so he has started treating it the best that he can.

Brock Landers is done with the living in squalor that came along with his time in Norfolk. A young wife and an infant in a 2 BR apartment in coastal Virginia won’t cut it for a superstar number 1 overall pick like Brock anymore. Brock took his big check straight to Sotheby’s real estate and bought himself a fancy new crib. 6 bedrooms, 8 baths, 6k square feet, outdoor pool. “If I’m moving to the desert, I’m gonna make sure I enjoy myself here”, Landers was quoted as saying. Landers sees the house as a physical manifestation of his hard work and well-deserved success; a monument to his unparalleled talent as a receiver.

Landers has plenty of space to house his young family in now. The kid is already loving playing with the tumble weeds and scorpions which he casually finds around his new home. Brock had very sophisticated fencing installed after he received a few warnings about small children being carried off by coyotes when they’re left unattended. Child proofing in the desert takes a lot of effort, and a surprising amount of money as well.

Landers has got a lot of money still left in the bank, so he’ll be indulging in other places as well in the future.

Quentin Sinclair has just joined the Colorado Yeti and with his new signing bonus he is investing half of it in the stock market and putting the other half towards personal use. His first purchase is a winter wardrobe as he threw out all of his winter clothing when moving to Palm Beach hoping his NSFL team would be in a warm area. His next purchase is a red Maserati GT convertible as he has always liked Maserati's logo and his local car dealer gave him a fairly good deal one it. His Colorado home is very sparse right now so he will purchase some furniture from Ikea. He wants to wait until his next contract with an NSFL team because he does not know if his future with the Yeti is set in stone yet so his purchases were quite sparse only buying a large couch and television for the living room, a bed and chair and a mid size television for all 3 bedrooms in his home, and some stools for his kitchen to go around the island. AS a combined gift for mother's and father's day, Sinclair bought his parents a trip to Europe including stops in London, Rome, Munich, Stockholm, and Amsterdam.

Easton Cole isn’t here to fuck around. The only Quarterback in the DSFL Draft this season was lucky enough to be selected 2nd overall by the Palm Beach Solar Bears this season. Solar Bears fans were incredibly unlucky to have had their hopes pinned on some garbage quarterback named Apollo Lange. Lange guided (or misguided) the Solar Bears to a 3-11 last season while throwing a whole bunch of picks. Easton Cole is here to help the Solar Bear fanbase forget all about that nonsense. That’s why Easton took his $5 Million contract and IMMEDIATELY invested it into himself. He paid for the finest equipment and training to improve his play on the field before he even throws his first DSFL pass for Palm Beach. The equipment, combined with the best training a player in the league can get, has already paid dividends. Easton can already see a difference in not only his physical traits (He can throw the ball farther, harder, and more accurately) but his mental traits as well. (He can “see” the game better than ever, he says). Easton has made it his goal to get the Palm Beach football club a few more wins than last season, and potentially even get them a championship. That’s why he invested his money into himself. (216)

Written Option: The Offseason has come to an end an all our contracts are freshly minted. That means one thing, signing bonuses. Your player just received a large signing bonus, whether it was his first rookie contract, a newly agreed extension, or a brand new team in Free Agency. What do you plan to do with all that dough, buy a house, a car, a yacht, or in the spirit of Mother’s Day, what are you buying her? Write about how your player spends his cash.

I have more than enough money from the tenous career of my past player, Dermot Lavelle Sr. I will never need a large contract or a gigantic signing bonus, never have in the past neither. But this PT is fixated or predicated on the illusion that I will need one, I don't have any particular reason to want to do this PT but I digress.

Should I see that incredibly pricy and expensive signing bonus, there wouldn't be more than one thing I would do with it. I of course would spend all of my money by donating it to Ryan Leaf Jr. It is indeed my hope that by essentially bankrolling is entire sim league experience, he will continue to accrue TPE for the Yellowknife Wraiths. By allowing him to just focus on earning TPE and doing his PT's fully (200 words not 140 words like a scrub) it is my hope that he continues to become a force to be reckoned with in the NSFL.

My hope is that by basically living my NSFL career through the medium of Leaf Jr, I can get another one of my players into the NSFL HOF. Also I don't trust Videls husband enough to pass 200 tpe, after all it's very easy to lose a whole day writing out new Leaf Jr. copypastas so I don't blame him.
