Felt like the sig blended well with the background, showed use of Photoshop's tools and the jersey swap was natural.

Mostly I just want to know what the changes were from 7/7 to 5 and 4/7? Like, I understand that it's templated and so all but the first will receive a reduced grade, but I thought I did a good job with my number and color swaps, as well as the background and general design.
Not sure what the standard is for a perfect score is in this league anymore but I think I could argue for at least a 6/7 for the actually graded one:

Definitely feel it used PS's tools effectively, the text blends with the general marble/gold theme, render is cut, and I think the swaps look good? I applied some filters from the filter gallery to give a more drawing-like feel as well. IDK maybe my eye for this isn't as good anymore.
The GFX team agreed that the submissions were deserving of a higher grade. We also agreed to bump up two more of the submissions, but keep the rest at 4/7, we are also opening up a discussion about asset re-use.

Can see why this wasn't a 7 or even a 6 but it's a sig with the blended effect of a "cartoon" style effect I wanted. The swap is fine imo and it's probably one of my best/better helmet swaps. Looking for a bump to 5/7 if not higher. Can see why not higher but yeah don't really care either way but figured id try my luck.

I honestly don’t even know, but you can’t be serious. I’ve seen 6s for FAR inferior work. This should be a teachable moment for whoever graded this sig. please take a moment and try to see what’s going on in this sig. the color swap on the jersey behind the hair. The design elements in the background. The cut and swap alone are well beyond that of a 4. Not sure what you’re looking at but a 4 for that sig is clearly a mistake.

I’d like the grader to please address each element of that sig which falls into the above grading category.
The level of ability shown to effectively grade in this instance is subpar.
As such, this will be the last work of mine submitted for grading going forward. The grading effort should be commensurate with the effort of the submission and this clearly is no longer the case.
Grading has been unfair and biased from the start in my experience and I no longer need the money enough to deal with the process. Thank you and good luck.

I'm appealing because 3/7 seems extremely low for the effort I put into this. The only slight I can see is that I missed the Saint's logo on the sleeve and didn't black it out. But as far as the text blending, the render (player and statues) being cut well, and logo on the helmet look, I think they are above the 3/7. Especially when you look at some of the other grades going around.
The second signature here got a 4/7 and has no cropping. Just a recoloring of the bartenders shirt and a sloppy unblended text and background behind the bar. Obviously biased, but I believe mine required much more time and skill to do.
This could almost be considered a meme and got a 4/7. Probably took a good amount of time to copy and paste all the logos in there, but the background is very well done.
This got a 4/7 and has no jerseys swap and very minimal cutting. It's a guys face with some text and copy/pasted logos.
No attempt to jersey swap at all on this one and it got a 5/7. Text doesn't blend at all and there is a watermark for someone else's discord in the top left. This user went by Hawaiian King on Discord, not Jathan.
At a minimum, I would expect this to be a 4/7 if you're being really picky about missing the saints logo on the shoulder. Realistically it should probably be a 5/7 or maybe even a 6/7. The render cuts are very smooth (and there is a lot of cutting due to the statues and platforms. The text blends well and doesn't distract or take away from the focus of the signature. However, there is one issue holding it back (the shoulder pad logo). Based on the wording of the grading rubric and other sig's grading, I believe mine should fall somewhere between 5 and 6.
This is not an attempt to come off as bitchy or roasting other users graphics. If this truly is a 3/7 then I would appreciate some input from the experts on how to make it better. What did I do wrong that makes this a below average graphics submittal? Graphics are fun for me and I enjoy them way more than articles, but getting a 3/7 is discouraging especially when seeing some of the other grades floating around.
The grading team all agreed that while there was effort, they also agreed that the grade should be upheld on the basis of quality, as it leaves a lot to be desired.

Contested Sig(s): All, contesting on the basis that the first car I designed was graded as cards and I received 1.7 million for them. I did this with the same program and in the same fashion and this one was graded as a jersey set that was payed out significantly lower than I feel the work that went into it required. I had to cutout graphics from logos to make this card as nice as I could.
