Daymond Brooks is a sneaker head, ever since he was a child. Ever since signing his NSFL contract he’s had to fend off the temptation to buy the whole back catalogue of Jordan shoes. Daymond enjoys fishing and spent college off-seasons commercial fishing in Alaska. That’s where he gets a lot of his strength. He weight trains, sure, but he’s not afraid of manual labor. He is also a movie enthusiast, owning several hundred movies and is in the process of installing a movie theater in his Honolulu home. Since he’s been playing in Minnesota, he goes to a lot of Wild hockey games with Sim Snowbow and Mario Von Pebbles. As far as hobbies that don’t cost money, Daymond likes long, competitive walks on the beach and birdwatching. Daymond is a very nice guy off the field, even if it takes him a minute to flip the competitive switch off. He plays a lot of video games with teammate Jamar Lackson like Overwatch, MLB the Show, and NBA 2K. He plans to settle down one day but realizes children are expensive and wants his money going toward TPE. Settling down is also difficult when he’s on the road so much of the year. When he gets to Honolulu, he plans to take up snorkeling and overcoming his fear of surfing.

Frankly, Cuco Clemente is always focused on football and getting better on the field. When he does decide to take a step back from his goals in the NSFL, he turns to things that are mentality stimulating. He enjoys chess and video games.
The thing that he spend the majority of his time doing in the off season is Brazilian jujitsu. This allows him to stay in shape for the season as well as train different pass rush techniques. It's has proven to be an effective off season program for defensive players, especially those who want to be pass rushing specialist. Clemente especially uses the RIP pass rush technique which directly translates to some areas of BJJ.
Clemente is also very passionate about music and has an extensive vinyl collections. He is particularity into Soul music and music from this home country, The Dominican Republic. You can often find him scouring an antique store for some classic records The favorites of his collection are his originals that are in great condition. Anything from War, Prince, and Donny Hathaway will be found in his collection. There are more recent Gems like Awaken My Love and To Pimp a Butterfly as well. As the saying goes, " Music has charms to soothe the Savage Beast."

Ben Slothlisberger is pretty low key when he is not playing football for the Tijuana Luchadores, spending most of his free time in his rented home near the stadium. Most of the time Ben spends his hours ripping cigarette after cigarette no matter what he is doing. That includes at home workouts too, neighbors have often seen him on a stationary bike on his balcony smoking like a chimney while he biked quickly.
Slothlisberger does love to eat, but he certainly is not a very good cook (and when he does cook cigarette ash often falls into his food). So he relies on ordering food delivery often, spending most of his initial contract on food to be honest. But you have to keep that big body fueled. Luckily for him this way his kitchen stays nice and clean most of the time, Ben is pretty lazy about cleaning stuff up.
Ben does put in time for football outside of the field. He spends a good amount of time watching game film while smoking cigarettes, sometimes probably staying up a little too late when he should be sleeping. That usually leads to him sleeping in super late and missing half of the next day. But that's just the life he leads. Luckily the sleeping in will kill a lot of time so that Slothlisberger will eventually get back to the training grounds and stadium.

Eugene Smoothie is a man who spends a surprising amount of time in the kitchen. And no, that's not just to pig out and eat, although he sure does love to eat...all sorts of foods...but we'll touch on that later.
Instead, in trying to cut down on going out both for his financial and physical health, he's been taking up home cooking. It was a rough start at first looking at various recipes to figure out what was easy enough to attempt, or close enough things he had tried or eaten before from his childhood. Bit by bit the passion for this hobby grew. It's definitely been a little bit all over the place though. On one hand he wants to be able to have the ability to make whatever so things like cast iron skillets, casserole dishes and other unused things were purchased when at the end of a long day, the easiest thing to do was to toss everything into an Instant Pot and just hit a button.
One day he'll get to seasoning that cast iron...but until then it just sits in the Amazon shipping box, untouched for the most part.
Oh and of course, smoothies are a nightly ritual for him. Nothing too crazy as the best bulk purchases are made at Costco, not to mention their quality, so typically it's a simple strawberry banana blend. Cup of water, Greek yogurt, handful of frozen strawberries and a banana (or two) and it's a nice little sweet thing to look forward to as a later evening snack to cut down on the manufactured sweets.

Benoit is a young, athletic and very healthy person. His lifestyle shows this as he is very adventurous and that trait runs in his blood. As Benoit lives with his girlfriend, and his family is never far, they always do a lot of things together. Whether it be bike adventures, hiking, kayaking, swimming, adventuring out to other parts of the world, or just doing his simple training regiment with his girlfriend, he is always out there, always on the go and always doing something to keep himself entertained.
Like any young adult, he also has a passion for video games, but knows his limitations when it comes to playing them. He only plays them once all of his duties around the house are done and most importantly, one his seasonly training is done. He knows he can relax when playing these and they are a great way to keep his mentality and his coordination sharp for his game, so it is a win-win for him.
Finally, Benoit is a big foodie, he loves learning how to cook, he loves different foods and he loves to have this type of habit. While he unfortunately cannot do it often because he has to stay on a stricter diet to ensure he is always in-shape for playing his favorite sport, he does find time here and there to do some crazy things with food, and taste test different cultures which really gives him a great appreciation for food from around the world.

It's always dangerous to talk about outside interests when you play in the NSFL. Fans can be pretty unforgiving at the idea that a player on their favourite team, earning the kind of money we're lucky enough to earn, might spend any of their time doing anything other than playing, training or studying film. However the truth is that outside interests are essential, precisely because our work is so intense.
Around the locker room there are a lot of group interests, plenty of video game lovers play FIFA or Madden and there's a lot of trash talk among teammates who think they're the best. There are some food lovers and lots of beer lovers trading their favourite craft beers. Activities which get the team together for something not directly related to football are great to help guys get to know to one another at a deeper level, and build a real closeness in the team.
That's why I've been getting our defensive back groups into board games. They're great for all the competitive guys to have some fun in a nice social way. And there are so many out there to fill the tastes of the guys or just the time we have available. There are small portable card games we play between meetings or big tabletop games we break out in the evening at someone's pad.

When he is not dominating it on the football field, Zee Rechs loves to cook. He figures if he is going to have to eat a lot to keep in playing shape, it may as well be tasty and delicious. Plus, the ladies are a sucker for a man with skills in the kitchen. While he loves food of all types and flavors (as long as no ranch dressing or mayonnaise is involved,) Rechs is particularly into grilling and smoking meat. He is considering competitive BBQ as a hobby when he retires. Rechs also loves swimming, both as a form of exercise and as recreation. He has combined his love of cooking and swimming in his quite extravagant outdoor kitchen and pool in the back yard of his mansion. Rechs also recently got his pilot’s license. He was inspired by his father, who is also a pilot. It is a cool skill to have, and he loves to load up in his little plane and take impromptu trips to visit places he has never been to visit but has always wanted to see. Finally, after a long day of work or play, Rech’s favorite activity is to curl up by his fire pit and read a good book, while sipping on a glass of whiskey. Cheap science fiction novels are his current favorite reading material.

Beside his football career Heinrich Kackpoo also is a member of the auxiliary fire brigade back in his home country.
Growing up in a small community simply had no choice than to join the fire fighters. There simply are not many other organisations and he felt that this would be the one where he really had the ability to help people and do something for society.
As most of his friends also are part of the fire brigade, they decided to take part in the local competitions where fire fighters compete against each other.
The fire brigades form teams of 9 people where everyone has to fill a role and has to perform certain tasks. The goal is to assemble four suction hoses and couple them to a pump. The other team members lay up a pipeline consisting of hoses and other tools for transporting water.
The run has to be completed in the lowest time possible. Of course there are certain rules which are very restrictive, each violation results in a time penalty. The winner is the group which completed a run in the lowest time after addig time penalties.
After running for more than ten years his team is widely known as one of the best 30 teams in the country. As it is quite hard to explain here is a run of a multiple world champion.
