Run the union like player unions are actually run: a representative from each team voted on by each player who then vote among eachother for who among them will be the leader. GM's won't be involved (because duh, it's a union) and anyone holding a head office position is also disqualified.

There's no such thing as a CEO for a union. There are "executive directors" but there should never be one guy in charge of everything. You are representing players who may not believe that your representation is in their best interest. So I'm all for a union, but if we run it the way you want it, it'll be a clown show.

@Destroyer

I'm literally going to ignore this post until you read what I have said previously, and correct your assumptions. I will highlight in red what you have mistaken, and what I have already said to be untrue. Also, you are absolutely incorrect in saying that there aren't CEO's in player unions, and I am sad that you haven't done your research on this subject before claiming such.

Thank you and your opinion is respected.

If our player association, whose mission is to represent the interests of the players, has a self-appointed CEO who takes genuine feedback from the players that he's representing this personally and defensively that's a bit of a red flag tbh

Still love the idea though lol

Maybe Destroyer would be in charge for S2 and S3, then we would vote on ALL the positions.

Thank you for at least taking it into consideration.

Any ideas or feedback that may change your interest?

guys, PLEASE, for fucks sake. There is no "In charge". ITS A TITLE. the speaker of the house is NOT IN CHARGE, they just keep the proceedings running and act as a leader of the majority. I dont understand how this is not getting across yet lol

I'm not sure about the union rules in Canada and how they work in conjunction with US union rules but I am in. Maybe get a member role and then a vote at large from the members? You'd serve as interim until a vote was carried out?

90% of people in this thread telling you to reword shit so you're not in charge (even if it's interim) and instead you call us ignorant, don't be a dick to the people you are wanting to represent.

Please explain what needs to be reworded (:

Oh and since you took ignorant as some kind of insult, i'd like to share the definition with you.

ignorance - noun - lack of knowledge or information
