RE: (S25) - PT 4 - Spooky Scary Season - Goat_Whisperer - 10-26-2020 Blago Kokot has never been a fan of Halloween. Scary things and darkness are something that does not bring joy or excitement into his life. To some that might sound weird as Kokot has lived in Northern-America for some time now, but according to Kokot himself, he has slept with a light on ever since he can remember. When you take that fact into consideration Blago not being a fan of Halloween is not a surprise anymore. Kokot however still does his best in dressing up and taking part in parties if Yellowknife or his family organizes one. For example, last Halloween while still playing in Portland Kokot dressed up as a ''man carrying a polar bear'' - outfit, which was a big hit. Outfits and scary things, after all, these little holidays are not just about the event, but also about spending time together with your loved ones. That side is important for Blago Kokot, so despite him not being a fan of scary things and darkness, he still tries to be there. Coronavirus might have an effect on how wildly Halloween is celebrated this year, but if there won't be any parties or get-togethers Blago will spend the evening at home doing what he does best, relaxing in front of the television either by watching some kind of hilarious movie or playing a video game of some type. RE: (S25) - PT 4 - Spooky Scary Season - xTri - 10-26-2020 In high school, Taro Raimon has always had a nickname that schoolmates and teammates call him. They always call him "Monkey" due to his sheer athletic ability to jump and catch anything in the air. Another reason is that Taro has some pretty wide and large ears that kind of resembles a monkey's ear. Every Halloween, he always dresses up in a Gorilla costume and tries to prank his friends during the Halloween season. Some previous pranks included various jumpscares at his friend's houses or just goofing around like trying to catch a football in the costume. On that note, a previous tradition was organizing a football game but you play in your costumes. Taro has difficulty seeing the ball in his mask and rarely is able to catch the ball. And when you're running around in it, he can get extremely sweaty and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this year's halloween is cancelled with COVID running rampant, so what Taro Raimon plans to do is hang out with his teammates in their confined hotels and do a long marathon of scary movies. Taro is not too excited about this ordeal since he isn't a huge fan of horror films. He remembers watching a Final Destination movie when he was young and that movie really scarred him. Hopefully he will be able to endure the entire marathon! Code: 224 words RE: (S25) - PT 4 - Spooky Scary Season - Lightnoir - 10-26-2020 Halloween was also a big holiday in the Eriksen household. Wes's parents loved to decorate their suburban home in all sorts of spooky tchotchkes. The gravestones were some of the best, with names on them like "Ronald Reagan" or "The Kool-Aid Man", but the neighborhoods favorite decoration would have to be the dancing skeletons. They're animatronic, see, so you'd hang them on your house and they would seem to dance and writhe on their own volition. And of course there was the near mandatory Halloween Horror Week movie marathon that Mr. Eriksen forced his kids (and wife) to participate in every year. So, yeah. You could say that the Eriksen household was always pretty heavily into Halloween. Wesley has done his best to carry on the Halloween traditions he loves in Philly. He's hosted horror movie nights every weekend in October and has big plans for a Murder Mystery party with the whole Philly team (make sure to wear a costume everyone, I'll be dressed as Spock!) I'm hoping I can get Sulaiman Ramza to come back and play the murder victim since he's a long time friend outside of the team. I want it to become a Philly tradition to have a murder mystery, because in the past couple seasons the only things thats been murdered is our playoff hopes. Growing up as the son of a dentist, Chungus wasn't allowed much candy. Except, on Halloween, he was allowed to eat as much as he wanted. In fact, Big Chungus was that kid who would create 3-4 different costumes to go trick-or-treating 3 or 4 times. He would always end the night with a full pillowcase of candy. His love for spooky season was not lost as he got older. Although Chungus can't trick-or-treat anymore, he still loves to scare people. During his freshman year of high school, Chungus went to a Halloween party at one of his friend's house. Chungus, along with his friend decided to pull a legendary prank. The plan was for Chungus to distract the guests while Alex, the host, would go outside with a hoodie and an axe. The plan was executed flawlessly and Chungus distracted the guests while Alex would occasionally walk around and stand in windows. Then, when Alex knocked on the door, Chungus opened the door where he was grabbed and "dragged away" by him. Alex had already made sure that nobody could call the cops to report anything so that wasn't an issue. While outside Chungus put on some of Alex's sister's makeup to make it look like he had been beat and then put on a shirt that made it look like Chungus had been stabbed. Then, Chungus laid on the porch while Alex knocked on the door and ran off. When the partygoers saw Big Chungus, they began screaming until Alex showed up and Chungus got up laughing. Since then, Chungus has always been a prankster on October 31st! 279 words RE: (S25) - PT 4 - Spooky Scary Season - nunccoepi - 10-26-2020 Blackstone doesn't really celebrate any secular holidays as a matter of moral principle, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying the "trimmings of the season" so to speak. In particular, Blackstone enjoys going out with his friends, particularly for activities that remind him of the season growing up back home in Michigan like haunted mazes (usually out in a corn field, but basically a haunted house), going to an apple orchard, and going camping as it starts to get colder out. Just this past season he actually bought and carved his first pumpkin since moving out and living on his own. More recently he has been having a hankering for scary movies, but has also recently starting seeing a woman more seriously. This is an issue because the scariest movie that she is willing to watch is Harry Potter. Thankfully, Blackstone doesn't mind that much and there are enough of the Harry Potter movies to keep them busy for the month of October--besides, its been a while since he's seen them. Back at the team facility though, there has been an uptick in practical jokes in response to the spookiness of the season. Although Blackstone himself hasn't yet been on the receiving end of one, he knows that his time is currently running out... He is not a fan and to be honest, he thinks that it is a stupid tradition. His home country has a certain tendency to try and import foreign traditions and use it as their own. So, imagine this picture: blocks of flats, where some kids (not even wearing costumes most of the time) try to get to get inside and then knock on apartment doors. Most people do not even know what Halloween is, so they open the door thinking it is something important and then see some kids asking for candy. What? Get out of here. One time, maybe 3 years ago, before going into the United States to play in the ISFL, Cue was at home watching some Netflix when the bell rang. He opens the door and a bunch of kids ask for candy. Not liking the tradition he had none and told them to get lost. The night goes by and by the next morning, when Cue left home, he looks at his front door and it is completely covered in eggs and flour. Those freaking kids got pissed he had no candy to celebrate a stupid day and decided to make a mess. Until this day, he waits on the shadows to be able to kick them on the ass if he recognizes them.
