Eh I think both sides have valid points. Yeah, I would expect at least an attempt at the prompt to get the TPE, but at the same time it wasn't clearly defined and if I wasn't reading into it I'd think "sweet, free TPE just gotta make a quick post". Easy to avoid confusion by putting "NOTE: to get the participation point, you must make an attempt at the prompt." I know, "what is this world coming to this should be obvious!" but not everyone reads between the lines and leaving a grey area does nobody any good. Nobody's fault, just a miscommunication

clearly this is devolving into an argument over what constitutes "participation" in my sim league experience, participation has just meant posting in the thread regardless of effort, clearly many of you here do not agree with that, but i feel i made the point i intended to
