Head Office is constantly told we're too formal and don't look like relatable humans to the rest of the league. When we make decisions that showcase that fact we're criticized for doing it. The league doesn't get it both ways. I absolutely am willing to acknowledge that mistake - even though I still disagree with it in some ways personally. That all being said, using it as a vehicle to advance an agenda that the league administration and management don't care for their jobs is in my personal opinion absolutely bad faith. It completely ignores and negates the actual changes the league made and also ignores how quickly and effectively management and administration has responded to issues within the league over the past few seasons. I take major issue with that. RE: S28 Rules Summit - LimJahey - 03-22-2021 (03-22-2021, 11:49 AM)SDCore Wrote: Hahaha can't hold me back. If the community at large has changes they'd like to see in the rulebook approach your GM, any relevant department head, or any member of Head Office. We have MORE than enough space. The Union currently relies, mostly, on leaks of the proposed rules. We, otherwise, have no idea what is and whas is not proposed. This makes it super hard for us to propose rules. Also the plan of the union is for the players to have a say in rules that affect US players. It's just super sad to see that we players shouldn't have a say in whats happening in the league. The only times we can move anything as players is if we start a giant shitstorm (see Trivia / Predictions some seasons ago). Giving the playerbase a unified voice would make a lot of things clearer and easier. RE: S28 Rules Summit - Sermokala - 03-22-2021 (03-22-2021, 11:49 AM)SDCore Wrote: Hahaha can't hold me back. It's efficient to call it a season after regular season, no more DC submissions, etc. That's the truly efficient path haha RE: S28 Rules Summit - ScorpXCracker - 03-22-2021 i am outraged that ho tried having fun thats gotta be illegal RE: S28 Rules Summit - slate - 03-22-2021 (03-22-2021, 11:49 AM)deadlunatic Wrote: My main question is why are votes not transparent? Because a rule to make it more transparent failed. The concerns that got brought up in rules discussion chat re: my proposed rule (Vote Splits) was that it would expose HO to more ire from the rest of the league if there were a vote that was voted yes on by 13/14 GMs and only 1/7 HO+owner+simmer, or something like that. In my opinion HO should be able to defend their votes if something like that were to happen, but I kind of get the concern. I do think individual ballots would probably be too far (it's a good thing that we can't know exactly which GMs voted for/against something, IMO, since that just leads to extremely targeted harassment). But I thought my proposal was a solid compromise. RE: S28 Rules Summit - tMuse - 03-22-2021 (03-22-2021, 11:49 AM)SDCore Wrote: Hahaha can't hold me back.
