(S2) - Weekend PT #5 - Team Bonding - Yurt6 - 08-12-2017 Disclaimer: Not drafted yet, so did it about his NCAA team. One of Clifford Rove’s fondest memories of playing at Michigan was their team bonding over Madden. For the players it wasn’t just another game or something to do, it was a way to live out their dreams. You see, for every incoming freshman or transfer, they would be put into the game. This allowed everyone to live out their eventual goal of making the pros. Also, there’s nothing like Madden for people who love to compete both on and off the field. Tournaments were a regular Saturday night occurrence, and whoever won got free meals for a week. However, it also served another purpose. The reason the coaches liked it so much was for an entirely different reason. They feel that the game allows each player to learn each other’s strengths and weaknesses. They make sure no one is maxed out in every stat category. Its almost like playing Madden is another version of watching film, for big games they even have opposing teams made. But when it comes down to it, playing Madden allowed all the players to bond and form friendships that became necessary come game time. From the outside, it may have just seemed like a way for the teammates to pass the time. But at Michigan University, Madden was so much more. It was a bonding exercise, a game planning session, and helped to make dreams come true. Word Count: 232 Words (S2) - Weekend PT #5 - Team Bonding - TimPest - 08-12-2017 It seems like the most fun thing the Arizona outlaws team likes to do is pranks. They are doing pranks every day they are on and usually I think I am the target of the pranks. The most pranks they do is write about doing funny things to me like hitting me in the privates with footballs or making me smell stinky things. They all like these pranks a lot. The new prank they do is to yell at thins in the locker room as a prank. Like they do chat in caps lock to pretend yell and then say lol and stuff. I don’t think its very funny but other people like it. The newest prank I saw was today when coach dwyer pretends to trade his own guy to another team. Then he says its not really a thing in the locker room. i knew that was a prank because outlaw 4 life is first started with coach dwyer and the leader of the team has to be on same team with the player. But the other pranks they do to me trick me a lot so they like to do that. I think the pranks is a easy way to get money from the site to do stuff so I need to make a good prank and get them but also get a lot of money. (S2) - Weekend PT #5 - Team Bonding - BrotherP - 08-12-2017 ![]() One of the things we do to bond on the Outlaws are contests. The best contest is the hot dog eating one, because I was the winner. My brother Jayce did let me get a head start on the contest, but by the time we were out of hot dogs it was still just me. Now that I think about I think there may not have even been a contest and I had to eat 68 hot dogs as part of my hazing. Still; I'm the champ now. (S2) - Weekend PT #5 - Team Bonding - timeconsumer - 08-12-2017 In the country spirit of Angus Winchester's home state of Tennessee, every summer during a bye week or the offseason the Otters team travels out to the deep south to engage in an age old redneck tradition, tubing. For those unaware of the tradition it's quite simple, find a lazy river, find some friends, find some beers, and find some innertubes. You then tie the tube with your cooler on it to your tube and away you go. A good spot on a river can result in a solid 3 or more hours of tubing before you reach the endpoint. When the Otters go most of the team is usually able to make it. They like to make sure to get a 12 pack of beer per person, not that every guy will drink that many, but because Winchester and Clegane end up having shotgun contests the whole way down the river and usually end up going through 20 or 30 beers each. Westfield and Phelps usually don't bring tubes, they just swim down the river, weirdos. But probably the most memorable moment of their most recent tubing trip was when Adamle Tomlinson and Leroy Jenkins showed up in mankinis. We all got a good laugh, but it wasn't over. Halfway down the river Kronen pops up from under the water behind Tomlinson's tube and jerks his thong up into a wedgie and pulled it over a passing treebranch. As he hung there screaming and squirming, with bits and pieces flying out from under skimpy garments Dominic Verns fell into such a hysterical laughing fit that he fell out of his tube and almost drowned. (S2) - Weekend PT #5 - Team Bonding - RedCydranth - 08-12-2017 In the back room of the Otters training facility is the Snail Racing den that Adamle Tomlinson set up behind the GM's backs. Once they found out, a good third of the team was already in there bonding over the secret past time of snbail racing. Limits are set that only random items may be won or lost and no real cash can be exchanged, thus making it a legal form of gambling. We all earned from Pete Rose that gambling as an athlete or manager leads to bad things, so the Otters win silly trinkets like a bag of Doritos, a bent spoon, a broken microwave and even small pets like lizards and ladybugs. Despite the stakes seeming to be so small, the Otters take it very seriously. Some members get very into it, like Ricardo Sandoval and Marc Spector, who within a week of joining the club, became premier racers. With the new shift in management, though, the snail racing den has been temporarily closed so that the team can focus on the new playbook and schemes that are being set up. But there's no doubt about it, the snail racing den in the Orange County locker room will make a triumphant return. In the mean time, many of the Otters players go to Leroy Jenkins locker and discuss the cuteness of Allison Brie and Emma Stone. Where everything stays and nothing leaves – unless you sleep with Matthew Peterson. Then you get herpes – also known as being traded to the Sabercats. The team has several reserved tables at the legendary Spearmint Rhino – team quarterback Josh Bercovici insists on holding team meetings there. Not like anyone is complaining. Stormblessed is said to prefer tattooed blondes with light eyes and a glove over their safe hand. Just like Josh Garden’s sister. In a bit of an initiation ritual before the team began, all rookies were gently encouraged (forced) to get up and sing in front of the team. Ardie Savea stole the show singing the Divinlys classic, ‘I touch myself’. He threw in a couple of really racy dance moves that would make the aforementioned Josh Garden’s sister blush. Oh and the cocaine. Ohhhh the cocaine. That’s pretty much all I can say about that. They like cocaine. What else, what else. Perhaps the funniest moment of team bonding came at this stadium with roughly 100 feet of ice, angry Canadians slipping about on blades, hitting a tiny piece of vulcanized rubber around with some sort of broom like apparatus intending to score on an unfortunate human wearing pillow-y armor guarding tiny red pipes. The team had a good laugh at that circus act. 232 (S2) - Weekend PT #5 - Team Bonding - SimmerDownBruhh - 08-12-2017 I don't know if you've been keeping up with "The Brotherhood of the Traveling Wraiths" series, then you should know exactly what they have been up to since being on their road trip. One of the more noted ways they have bonded was their sight seeing with #WraithsNation venturing Arizona. Having boat loads of fun and no alleged murders committed by any teammates! It really has been a great sight to see how this team bonds. Through thick and thin, they'll always have each other's back. You will have to stay tuned for what happened next on the road trip of hell for the Yellowknife Wraiths. In the meantime, while they aren't traveling the cities looking for new foods to broaden their horizons, video games is one thing that brings this team together. Each of us creating a football player of our choosing and importing him into the latest Madden installment. Whether we choose to make our own build or creating someone out of complete random, it brings out the competitiveness out of everyone to see who is the first player to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. As of right now, the players that have gotten to the Hall of Fame are Dermot Lavelle, Mat Akselsen and Josh Garden. We will be continuing the build as Madden 18 will be coming to store within the next couple of weeks. 227 Words (S2) - Weekend PT #5 - Team Bonding - Oles - 08-12-2017 Written: Write about an activity your team does together to become closer. Must be at least 200 words The Philadelphia Liberty DBs do a few things to bond, but the most notable is playing mini-golf. Yes, we go out every week, find a new place to play, and ends with the worse score pays for food afterwards. Myself, Lincoln Jefferson, Vikian Marmeladov, and Kristoffer O’Sullivan all get together and see who is the best at mini-golf, while still discussion some important matters. Sometimes we even invite Perry Tucker along if we want to see some interesting putting techniques. We’ve seen Tucker play the worst game of anyone since we started, and we’re convinced he never played before that time, although he won’t admit it. I’m also convinced Jefferson likes to use some extra momentum when no one is looking, and likes to make some new obstacles when it looks like a good hit on the putt. Not calling him a cheater, just saying his foot sometimes gets in the way. We’ve also tried pitch and putt, which went horribly and we can’t go and do that again. We’ve all had our fair share of wins and losses, and all in all it’s a fun time to just go out and have a good time putting horribly and talking about how many interceptions we have (or lack of interceptions when it was earlier in the season). Fans across the world are left wondering: How do the Arizona Outlaws maintain such a healthy locker room chemistry? The answer begins well before the first snap of training camp. In fact, it begins in the middle of August deep in the Mojave desert where the Outlaws, veterans and rookies alike, gather for a “voluntary” team bonding experiment in the harsh and unrelenting heat and whipping sand. From there the players imbibe on nearly unthinkable amounts of psychedelic drugs and begin coming up with mantras the team will chant before big games. The mastermind of this scheme? None other than Defensive Line stalwart Arbin Asipi. “Asipi in the locker room? A pretty laid-back dude. Asipi in the desert? My god, that’s a mad man” said one Outlaws player who preferred to keep his name anonymous due to fear for his safety on next year’s retreat. If you ask any of the Outlaws players for specifics on what happens during the trip, you’re likely to receive a cold look and a vague response. “It… Brings us closer together, I don’t know how much more I can say” was Quarterback King Bronko’s answer. The most specific answer came from Dustin Evans who said “It was a wonderful trip, I learned a lot about myself… Primarily I learned how much I love Pink Floyd, have you ever listened to the Dark Side of the Moon while tripping balls in the Mojave desert? No? Well, get out there and do that and then get back to me.” Well whatever goes down out there, it certainly seems to be working. The Outlaws are at 6-2 and sitting pretty atop their conference as we head towards the sunset of Season 2 in the NSFL.
