RE: (S29) Ultimus Week - TropicaliaCC - 06-28-2021 17) Its about time for a new stadium as the Sabercats have been in the same one for almost three decades now. My plans for a new stadium would involve demolishing the current one and building the new one right next to it. This way you could create more parking and tailgating greens for fan fare where the old stadium used to stand. The new stadium will have a retractable roof that opens and closes in a circular motion. The new stadium in fact will be a large oval with flying buttresses randomly coming down from the curved roof. Inside of the stadium exoect your usual vendors of stadium food such as hot dogs, burgers, nachos, etc, but also I want to add in unique food options including bringing in some of my favorite food joints in a quick fast food model: Raising Canes, McDonalds, BBQ joints, Waffle House, and Chikfila. As far as drinks go we will partner with local breweries to put in mini tasting rooms and of course have the light beer classics all around at different stands. Now for other experiences we will put in a barber shop if you need to get cleaned up and numerous mini games for folks to get a taste of being a football player: “Outrun Jamar Lackson” will be a 40 yard dash to laser measure your time so you can stop bragging to your buddies how you could run a 4.8, “Tackle Like Duke” will be a game where you have to chase down robotic dummies, and finally “Be the Ball” will be a bungy cord projectile that shoots you 60 yards into the air after a robotic massive Matty McDairmid punts you. 22) ![]() 23) Matthew McDairmid only uses Head & Shoulders for his luscious locks ![]() RE: (S29) Ultimus Week - dude_man - 06-28-2021 This last season has been pretty interesting in regard to my life with the ISFL. I’ve been busier than ever with the league. I’ve developed more friendships along the way and I’m thankful for it. A lot of my responsibilities include making sure the starts for DSFL is in on time as well as making sure that the sims aren’t full of wonkiness or cheating in anyway. I also have to make sure that I post announcements in the Discord server so that as many people can watch the streams when it goes live. As of late I was accepted as HO Intern for the ISFL and it has been great working for the minds of Head Office with different issues, future ideas, etc. Being able to give input freely to help better the league has been great and I hope to continue with the opportunity after the season is over. With the many things going on around the league, I’d like to make this more of a thank you to all the people I work for since they deserve credit in helping this league grow and thrive as the workload gets bigger. The first person I want to thank is @124715 as he has been the DSFL Simmer for the last couple of seasons. His willingness to help with whatever is needed as been an asset to the team and I am so glad I get to work with him almost close to everyday. He is a very busy man, but he still makes the time to make sure the Sim Team is cared for properly and I can’t wait to continue working with him for the foreseeable future. Next I’d like to thank the person who hired me for my 2nd position with the league, and that is @siddhus. During the Kya debacle, PPT needed an interim Head to take of the team as they underwent a massive change and overall blow to morale. I originally applied for the position thinking that I may be able to get the Head job, but also wanted to be in PPT as a normal member, so I was glad to hear that siddhus had received the PPT Head position in an official role. He’s been a great member to the ISFL community, and I’m still surprised he is on the younger side. He shows a mature and natural leader presence that is valuable to this league and I’m thankful to be able to work with him and help him out in anyway I can. Thirdly, I’d like to thank my man @Tylus as Recruiting Head. He is legit one of the nicest dudes I’ve ever been able to talk with, and I’m appreciative I get to call him my boss. His drive to make sure everything is correct and organized does not go unnoticed and for me is a welcome change to working with this league. He has the important task of making sure this league grows, and he needs all the support and help he can get as we just had recruitment day today. So without his activity and willingness to help and make sure things are taken care of, we wouldn’t be where we’re at. While I’m at it, I may as well thank the people I get to work for in a player sense. @Kotasa, you have been an awesome help to my development as a player and person. Being able to be excited for game day (ever though I know the score before anyone else does) goes above and beyond for a lot of teams. You willingness to engage and literally MAKE people active is an amazing trait you have to be able to help develop the new players of the league and I look forward to what you’ll do in the future if/when you step down as GM. @mithrandir, I’m thankful for you guys drafting me with the 13th overall pick. My biggest hope was to make sure I was drafted in the first round, and you made that happen. Your calm demeanor has helped me in ways I haven’t even thought about with this league, and the fact you make sure I’m cared for with whatever concerns I have has been refreshing. Thank you for taking the chance on me and I’m proud to be dooter for the rest of my career. I know I’m probably missing several other people and I can go on for a long time. But I feel like the people above don’t get as much credit as they should for this league. They are tremendous pillars to this community and I’m glad I can interact with them on a consistent basis. If any of you are able to talk with these guys, please do so. They are more than willing to help with whatever is needed in the league and I hope you get to feel the same way I do when I talk with and discuss whatever with them. Thank you all for making this league like a second family! RE: (S29) Ultimus Week - ztarwarz - 06-28-2021 4. I don't think I've ever seen a stranger series of results in my 5 seasons watching than this year's New Orleans Second Line. Good teams falling flat on their face and losing their way out of the playoffs happens often (although the Copperheads may have done it a bit harder this season than usual). Mediocre teams beating a few good opponents for timely results happens often enough, sometimes well enough to win teams an Ultimus or two if the luck breaks hard enough. But the way that the Second Line did their trip to the playoffs is what is so shocking. While their points for and points against make them look like an average enough team, their yards for and yards against show a completely different story. So what caused low point given up total? Probably their defense having the 2nd most forced fumbles, 3rd most recovered fumbles, most interceptions, and most defensive touchdowns of any team. Turnovers are pretty random as is, even in the NFL, and it's more drastic with this squad which is in the bottom half of defensive TPE with under 10K. But that's not the big reason this team is so shocking. New Orleans is most shocking because of the names of who they beat and lost to. New Orleans faced 10 different teams over the course of this season. Out of those, they beat 7. Those teams are the 7 best teams of those who they played. This is a team that, against other playoff teams, went 4-2, and then won another 4 games against teams who many had making the playoffs this season. When facing their top tier competition they went 8-2. Their record was 9-7. Against the 4 worst teams that New Orleans matched up against this season by team strength, San Jose, Honolulu, Chicago, and Balitmore, the Second Line went 1-5. While San Jose played like a decently strong team in the first half of this season, they were also the team that the Second Line actually won against. New Orleans gave fully half of the wins this season to the teams who had 3 wins or less, giving the Honolulu Hahalua 2 wins and the Baltimore Hawks one. The Hawks, to remind people, are still in the middle of a deep rebuild, and the Hahalua are starting a rookie QB with less TPE than the once regressed, inactive since December, Luke Skywalker. To be frank, New Orleans lost to bad teams and beat good teams despite being a bad team themselves. They are a team lacking one of the 22 Linebackers with over 1000 TPE, their running back is under 750 TPE while the other 5 teams in the playoffs average 1.2 RBs with over 1000 TPE. Their receivers are a little better by absolute numbers, but they still come in at 10th, 11th, and 18th among playoff teams, and they didn't have or get top tier QB play. But they are in the playoffs nevertheless. The other side of the coin, who was most sim cursed, has really only one candidate, and while I hate to somewhat double dip from an earlier article I wrote, the Copperheads were truly cursed this season. This was a team that multiple people in my locker room put to win the ASFC (granted, as a member of Arizona, one of the more pessimistic locker rooms in the league, what that actually means is that we thought they were the 2nd best team and that we would most likely collapse and lose the top spot.) This was a team who finally brought a good enough QB to the team, coming off of an Ultimus appearance. Their 3rd best linebacker was Dex Kennedy, who never had less than 1000 TPE and is right now at 1200. They had 3 members of their secondary over 1000 TPE. Even on their comparatively weaker defensive line, they still had Troen Egghands at over 1300 TPE to be a strong point. And yet this team gave up the 4th most points on the season and spent 3/4ths of the season averaging over 30 points allowed per game, a mark only surpassed in actuality by the Hawks and the Sabercats. I believe these actually ended up being some of my only missed spots on the seasonal rankings chart, and the other pair (Yellowknife and Colorado) were much closer together in terms of being swapped around. I guess Colorado was a bit of a surprise? They run a strategy focused on an immense amount of passes, didn't have anywhere near as productive a performance from Caliban this time (I'd argue he shouldn't even make the nominations for QBotY, when last season I had him as QB3 and he won it), and yet despite a poor performance from Caliban the Yeti had the 2nd best record in the league this season, and if not for a surprise loss to the Second Line would have tied for the best, although I believe they would have still lost the 1st overall seed to the Salamanders on Conference Record in that scenario. Nowhere near as much of a surprise as the Second Line or the Copperheads, though. RE: (S29) Ultimus Week - Dextaria - 06-29-2021 7. This task is exclusive to non-recreate rookies of the S30 class and later. In 400 words or more, how has your experience been in the league? Who have you met that has made your time here more fun, friendly, and exciting? Have you been satisfied with your player’s early start? What was it like being drafted for the first time? Do you have any comments or suggestions for the entire league that you think should be implemented? My experience with the site has been amazing. Even before I joined the ISFL, I heard about it from the SHL after the Vancouver Whalers drafted a number of ISFL players such as Kya, Kyle, Zayn, and Frost. Every seemed really outgoing and when I actually joined the league I can confirm that this league has a great locker room and discord environment. As for who made my time here more fun, friendly, and exciting, I would definitely say that Frost, Negs, Kyle, and Moose have all made my time here great from walking me through the player creation, to checking up on how I'm liking the league. This is not even mentioning the Minnesota Grey Ducks for taking me in with open arms and dealing with my incessant questions. Their locker room is great and I love to see familiar faces in the room like Kenny and Frost... and Kyle... (they're kind of just everywhere lol). Although of course there are the new people that I have met and bonded over my questions, the discord counting bot, and of course the discord pokemon bot (this one is my favourite). As for the start of my career, Beniri T'Chawama has put up 6 pancakes in 4 games. What does that mean? No clue. Is that good? Absolutely no frame of reference lol, but I'm happy that Beniri gets to have the chance to play and get pancakes. Mmmm I'd love some pancakes tomorrow morning. Plus the chance to win the Ultimini before T'Chawama is even drafted sounds like a real good start compared to the rebuilding teams Sato sat through in the SHL (but I love those teams). With this, I am definitely excited or the draft. Although, I hope teams don't just draft me because of my background in the SHL. I would love for new creates to get that spotlight as I get drafted later. I will be happy no matter what spot I go and what team I go to! Another part is that I don't want such high expectations put on me when I am not too sure if I can meet them. With that, I am still excited, but also a little hesitant about this draft. As for comments or suggestions, I really would like to see the discord be more interactive! Right now it just seems like everyone post tweets and there isn't any interactions between players there. I believe implementing a system like in the SHL where players are paid for replies as well could be great in at the very least encouraging engagement between members on Twitter. (435 words) 16. This task is exclusive to recreate/non-recreate rookies of the S30 class and later. The season is over and the draft is coming up. What do you bring to a team, and why should a team choose to take a chance on you next season? I would say what Beniri T'Chawama brings to teams is a team player first and foremost. I am always one to put my team ahead of myself which is why I chose the offensive lineman archetype. I am not interested in the points or touchdowns. I am solely interested in being an impactful player for whatever team that drafts Beniri T'Chawama. With that, I cannot promise a max earner, but I can certainly promise a serviceable player in the DSFL and I will always put the team ahead of myself (taking pay cuts and/or producing media to get earn equipment and training every season). That would also include creating a player that would best fit the team in terms of attributes so I will always be asking the general managers what attributes to increase to best benefit the team. Also, I can bring a good locker room presence although I may not always be there, and I will always look out for everyone in the locker room. I love meeting new people and interacting with people in the locker room. Lastly, I am a blank slate when it comes to football so if teams are interested in helping introduce a new sport and gain a new fan for their team, I am all ears in terms of the NFL! (220 words) 29. Affliate PT from either SHL/PBE. The Weeks must match with the timeframe of this UW, which would mean SHL's PT #2, SMJHL PT #3, and PBE's PT 26-2. SHL PT #2 +10 TPE RE: (S29) Ultimus Week - Net - 06-29-2021 Task One: Today, I'm going to talk about each teams path to the playoffs for 10 TPE. It's gonna be 800 words of this, so let's get right into it. Let's start out with the Berlin Fire Salamanders. After a 1-3 preseason, the Salamanders looked in trouble. Maybe this season wouldn't be good for them, and their chances on an appearance wouldn't happen. However, something crazy would happen. In Week One, The Fire Salamanders quieted doubters with a 38-16 win over the defending champions Yellowknife Wraiths. Holding Colby Jack to just one touchdown pass and having a great defense to help them get the dub. However, the next two weeks saw a struggle. They had two straight losses to Sarasota and Colorado, allowing 30+ points to each squad after holding Yellowknife to just 16 in Week One. It looked like a bump in the road for the previous 12-4 squad. Then a bounce back Week against the Chicago Butchers was nice, as they won 30-17 with a good game from Tychondrius Hood and Cmon Skiuuup each having over 100 yards receiving. But a big part of the success this season was from one trade, as Berlin acquired the legend Tyron Shields just a week after making him burnt toast. Shields would finish this season with FIVE interceptions, a career high and pretty impressive. After acquiring Shields, the Fire Salamanders would not allow 30+ points in a game after, only losing one game also, against a Second Line team that led to a score of 21-20. The team performed great, highlighted by box scores of 50-21 against Austin or 52-13 against Baltimore. The team won their final 8 games after a tough start, which also led to the best record in the league. I wouldn't be shocked to see them as Ultimus winners. Next, we have the 12-4 Colorado Yeti. As a Colorado native, I'm happy to see a team from Colorado succeed, puts a nice smile on my face. The team would have a pedestrian 2-2 preseason. The Week One matchup against Sarasota was close, seeing the team have a 23-14 lead with 7:56 left in the third, only to give up 9 points but luckily get the win 26-23. Week Two saw a blowout loss to Chicago, but was followed up with wins versus Berlin and Honolulu. A blowout loss to the defending champs would then lead this team to a great stretch of wins. They scored 30+ points for 5 weeks straight, 30 POINTS. That's a minimum of 4 scoring drives per game. A 47-17 win after the Yellowknife loss would fuel this offensive burst. This would be followed by a 38-7 win versus Baltimore, with great games from this years arguably best receiver William Lim and Harvard product Raphael Delacour showing up to gametime. The next big game would be against Baltimore, with a 51-17 game even though Lim and Delacour produced, running back Dick Gilbert would have two receiving touchdowns in the final game of the win streak. They would end the season 2-2 and finish 12-4, looking to maybe upset the Salamanders. Next, let's talk about the Arizona Outlaws, the best team in the ASFC at 11-5. After a perfect preseason, which saw the Outlaws outscore opponents 142-39, the Outlaws had VERY high hopes entering the season, who wouldn't? They started off the season VERY hot, winning their first FIVE games and seeing 40+ points 3 times in that streak, only failing to surpass 30 once. Two loses to New Orleans and Berlin killed the once red hot Outlaws, but they would rebound this by winning 19-9 against the Philadelphia Liberty, allowing no points until the later half of the fourth quarter. Another loss the Week after would put the Outlaws at 6-3, which is ok, but with a 5-0 start I would of expected better. They would go on streaks of winning two games and losing two games, before acquiring top offensive lineman Julio Jones in Week 14, a huge upgrade for that offensive line and skilled quarterback Charlemagne Cortez. The team would go on to finish the season with 3 straight wins, giving the Outlaws an 11-5 record. To be honest, I'm not sure if the Outlaws will have the best chance at a ring, Jones is a huge upgrade but has only played with them for 3 games, can this carry on is the only question, because when Arizona gets hot, they win a lot. I'll do one more team... The Sarasota Sailfish, ah yes. The team with the most points scored this season finished tied second in the NSFC with 487 points. With a quarterback like Mike Boss Jr, you can expect offense to be a huge problem for the opponents. You can see that this team is offensive heavy, as in all except one win, the Sailfish scored 30+ points, never scoring above 50 however. That's pretty efficient for a team that went on a 6 game win streak after losing Week One. I'm making this one quick because I am tired and I want to go to sleep, but to the Sailfish, you guys killed it, keep it up, you will need offense in the playoffs, but don't leave your defense at the airport. Ok I think I did it. Thanks grader for reading! 884 words RE: (S29) Ultimus Week - Tesla - 06-29-2021 Tier 2 - Task 10 - 400+ Words - 5 TPE Agent Tesla: So as you know the rules of reality recently changed as the outerverse switched to a new simulation to run for your universe. Part of that change has led to 3-4 being the dominant defensive scheme because of blitz rate changes, but those have now been heavily nerfed. Now one of the 40+ reasons we signed with Colorado is because it could get you stats playing nose tackle in a blitz heavy 3-4, and it did lead you to your sole pro bowl nod. However the team has asked what we would think if they were to switch to a 4-3. What are your thoughts? Magnus Rikiya: Well you are both my agent and kind of the creator god of my portion of the universe. So you should know better than anyone that I am all about doing what is best for the team regardless of the consequences. We both know that this change in alignment is going to radically reduce my stats, but what I want to know is are you sure you are okay with that? Honestly you have always cared more about my stats than I have after all. Agent Tesla: I am one hundred percent okay with the change as it should do wonders for the performance of the defense as a whole which makes for happier teammates and maybe more wins. My concern is for you Magnus. You finally got honors by making it to a pro bowl, and now that you are in regression this would basically guarantee you never make it to another. Are you sure you want to go along with it with that in mind Magnus? Magnus Rikiya: True nose tackle has always been my calling and we both know that. My entire goal is to make the rest of the defense look better at the expense of myself and so i am happy to sign up for this to be there to make everyone else look good. That one season where every other member of the defensive line was up for their positional award is still the one I would consider my most successful as a player. Even over the season I finally got a pro bowl nod. Agent Tesla: You know I honestly can agree with that. Your ability to soak up blockers in the middle of the line is one that does wonders for the rest of the defense, and it is honestly why I decided to stick with nose tackle for your archetype despite the sim change. Plus now that you have at least the one pro bowl nod I can still say that all of my players have made the all-star game equivalent for their league. Which is fun for me! Magnus Rikiya: So now we just do our part with me as the aging veteran there to make others look good. Maybe even including another aging veteran on the team. Agent Tesla: That sounds like a superb plan to me. Now time to go get pizza! Code: Word Count: 503 Tier 3 - Task 28 - 200+ Words - 2.5 TPE Cade York for Kicker of the Year is the case I am going to make and I think it is legitimately an easy case for me to make courtesy of their performance. York is one of just five kickers to make 50+ extra points this season, and missed just one on the season which is good for a 98% accuracy on extra point attempts. They are sixth in field goal attempts, however fourth in field goals made and the only kicker to make over 30 field goals with greater than 90% accuracy as well. Now all that by itself would be enough in my honest opinion to vote Cade York for Kicker of the Year, however I will go a bit beyond in my support of them. Starting with the fact that their team went 11-5 on the season to win their conference, and over the course of the season were player of the game twice throughout the year. Once against division rivals the Orange County Otters where they went 4 of 4 on field goal attempts, and once against the Philadelphia Liberty where they also went 4 for 4 on field goal attempts. If they had not been perfect those two games the team not only would not be first in their conference, but might have missed the playoffs entirely as it would have gone to a three team tiebreak for the last two playoff spots of the conference. The only two players with as many extra point attempts and better accuracy are King and Small who had 98.2 on 55, and 98.1 on 52 respectively. Meanwhile the only players with better field goal percentage period did it with 100% on 3 attempts, and 95.5% on 22 attempts, and so York's 91.7% on 36 attempts is easily the best stat line in my book. What makes his field goal percentage stand out even more though is his long kicks as he went 6 of 7 on 50+ yard field goals. All together vote Cade York please! The two Royals have developed a close bond, despite Hunter being a shy and reserved type and Welch being the complete opposite. Outspoken and seeking glory on a weekly basis, perhaps Hunter sees Welch as somewhat of a role model of how to increase your profile in the ever demanding ISFL media circus. When Welch initially showed up in the Royals locker room, Hunter didn't know quite what to make of the young wide receiver, however his opinion has changed and now they are regularly seen attending the same parties, clubs and even playing golf on the weekends. This unlikely duo is likely to be separated however, as Hunter contemplates his future in the ISFL. It's said that he has been disappointed in his play this season and combined with some personal issues recently, he has been thinking about taking a break, perhaps permanently as he seeks to sort out some solutions to these previously mentioned issues. Welch will be fine without his wingman and should continue on his path to ISFL stardom and the rewards that will come with it. Coming from the SHL as a long time sim leaguer, it was interesting to get into the ISFL for the first time and really sink my teeth in. For starters, it is a lot like the classic SHL. With the banking subforum, the way the PTs are lined out, the forum formatting. While for some that may not be the best thing, for me I absolutely love it. I miss the classic SHL sometimes, and it was nice to get that back in a way. I will say there are some confusing parts to the forum for me. Such as the bank and the player transactions subforums being separated. The things that get put on the side bar that I can't seem to find anywhere else, which ultimately make mobile more difficult to use at times. Having retirements away from the create a player forum, which I think ultimately is an easier balance the SHL has. I have also been confused many times about team histories and feel like the wiki is hit or miss. A lot of teams don't have their history updated. They may have the team roster updated, but their records aren't fully fleshed out. Also trying to align a year to the season numbers can get confusing, I can't tell what 2043 is, is it S27? Who knows, now I have to go through another tab to try and line it up. It has definitely had some hiccups, and I feel the mobile experience -- which is my most common way of interacting with the site -- could use some work as it doesn't highlight any threads and I end up having to go through subforums to look for things to get to know rather than seeing popular threads popping up. There has been a lot of good here. I have encountered a lot of great people, from Kotasa to Gyles. Tijuana has been a wonderful place to be that often is a really fun time. I decided to come over to have a player I could relax a bit with and just focus on me with, and it has been nice to find somewhere that I really can just sit back and enjoy. I have found it interesting the amount of people asking about position changing, which is fine. I get it, there are a lot of positions and not really many playing spots for those positions. You only really play like three or four defensive linemen, or linebackers, or defensive backs, so on. As the team grows, you're bound to have some difficulty fitting people in. It just does make it odd from the SHL perspective, as we have nine forward spots, six defense spots and two goalie spots. Ultimately, we don't need a lot of movement from players, and so I didn't expect it here even though it definitely makes a lot of sense. Quote:Word Count: 479 Quote:16. This task is exclusive to recreate/non-recreate rookies of the S30 class and later. The season is over and the draft is coming up. What do you bring to a team, and why should a team choose to take a chance on you next season? This is interesting, because I have never really scouted myself before. I have scouted a lot of people, and I am very opinionated usually in that regard. However, I definitely have not turned that inward to think about myself. I would say an average earner, to start with. I keep up, and make sure tasks are done and I buy my training. I work on media occasionally -- which is to say I did media before the season and then am doing it again at the end of the season, but it isn't the most consistent thing in the world from me. After looking at earning, it would be best to think about fit for the locker room. You do get somebody experienced in sim leagues with me. I have been around the block many, many times. I have won, lost, and anything else when it comes to the SHL. I have the experience of different kinds of locker rooms, and have yet to be turned off by one. I would say that I'm not exactly a 'driver' in the locker room as I need to be more of that in my own locker room in the SHL, but I have no issue helping to push the conversation and getting involved in the locker room discussions. I can get along with just about anybody, and it makes for a good environment at the least. I would say ultimately, with me you get a person that has been through ups and downs and can help with that, but somebody who has a primary focus away from this league and so there is always a risk involved. You would get a good earner and somebody who fits a locker room, but I don't know that I would call myself an elite prospect. Quote:Word Count: 299 Quote:27. What team do you think has the best branding in the league? What team do you think could use a refresh? Why? I find this to be a really interesting question to answer, because I was actually just talking about it recently. I don't really pay too close of attention to branding and logos, mostly because I spend more time on mobile where it just is not a highlighted part of the site. I will start with the fact that orange is my favorite color, so I love the Orange County Otters for sure. Though, the logo is a bit off-putting to me. I'm not a big fan of it, but I don't hate it. I think the color scheme for the Austin Copperheads is great and their logo looks really good. It looks menacing, which is something I want out of a logo typically. I like the overall asthetic. As a Colorado sports fan -- in spite of being nowhere near there -- I feel a love for the Colorado Yetis, though it isn't the most menacing or scary looking logo out there. It is a good logo, but I would say it is one that could use a revamp potentially. Though, as somebody who isn't really a graphics person, I have no idea what to do other than add nostrils -- that's an old SHL Edmonton Blizzard joke. Finally the Chicago Butchers have a logo that I absolutely adore. It is scary in a very real sense, it looks fascinating and ilicits a reaction. It is one hell of a logo, and I really enjoy it. In terms of teams that could use some work, first off I feel like the New Orleans teams of the SHL and ISFL need to swap. The Second Line sounds like a great hockey team name, though maybe a bit too on the nose. The Spectres on the other hand could probably fit in the ISFL pretty well. The San Jose Sabrecats look like they're from the Thundercats logo. I love the thundercats, but I just don't feel like that's a great thing. I would definitely like that to be adjusted. Berlin has a great logo when you pull up the full image, but most people are seeing just the little section that appears on the main site page and it looks like a kind of weird frog. I love the logo, but I wonder if there's a way to rework that banner on the site. Lastly, I find Honolulu to be interesting because I don't know what Hahalua means and I think it's just fun to have things like that which I'm sure are great. So props to them for something that is remarkably different in a way. Quote:Word Count: 432 RE: (S29) Ultimus Week - 3lewsers - 06-29-2021 29. Affliate PT from either SHL/PBE. Your team has announced that they will be laying ground on a new stadium next season. What additions would you like to see included in it. No graphics option available here. If the Luchadores made the decision to move to a new stadium to play in next season, there are a few key features that I believe the new place should have in order to truly reflect the team, its location and its heritage. They mostly are based around tequila, and the way that the team can incorporate providing as much tequila to the teams fans as possible for their entrance fee. I was thinking that a tequila fountain could be fun, where we replace all of the water fountains in the stadium with tequila that people can just fill up a bottle with and sip on while they're watching the games. I was thinking that the new stadium would replace t shirt cannons with tequila cannons, where bottles of tequila are shot randomly into the crowd for them to pick up and get a hold of. I don't know what the health and safety people will have to say about this one, but I think if you're forcing fans to go watch games at a new stadium you need to give a little back to them and part of that is accepting that as a team based in Tijuana, there's a lot of pressure on you to provide tequila. Funnily enough, I came very close to creating in the ISFL as a wide receiver. Having had all my previous players be on the defensive side of the ball, I figured that it could be fun to mix things up and finally go with a guy who scores and is able to contribute to the other side of things, however for some reason of which I'm not exactly sure to this day, I decided to change my mind and go with a linebacker instead. I guess if I had to choose now which other position I think could be fun, I guess there's probably anything on the defensive side of the ball besides safety that I guess I'd be willing to try out. Probably would also give some consideration to a couple of the offensive positions too, but I think in all honesty I'll probably save those for my next player and have a proper attempt at making a great wide receiver or tight end or something. For the time being I'm more than happy with the position I've chosen, I feel like it has a lot of scope to contribute a lot in the league and have an enjoyable career, and as far as I'm concerned that's the main focus for me. In my opinion, the team with the very best branding in the league is none other than the one I'm going to step in and play for next season, the Arizona Outlaws. It is purely a coincidence that I was involved in the brand refresh the team went through a few seasons back and commissioned the team's logo. Truthfully though, I love the name of the team in relation to its location, think it has a unique color scheme and one of the better quality logos in the league. It was great to get drafted back there and have another chance to form a legacy with a team whose identity I'm a massive fan of. I've always quite liked OCO as a brand, I think the fact that they've kept the same logo since S1 is pretty neat and it feels like another brand that's of a good quality standard. Hopefully they continue to keep it going forward, but yeah not many other teams I think are on a similar level to Arizona in terms of branding. Quick shoutout has to go to Tijuana for being one of the most fun brands in the development league, love the Luchadore brand and think it's a super fun location for a team and concept.
