You're right, these should all come into effect in the next offseason. I have modified the original post. That colorful chart scares me.Honestly, the chart system would probably be fine and I like the idea of it. It's the secondary/tertiary bank that I think would cause the most confusion and be hard to track. It's the secondary/tertiary bank that I think would cause the most confusion and be hard to track. The banks already exist though when you swap, especially if you're going from say offense to defense. That part of it worrying people is a little odd since it's not a new mechanic in any way. This one just makes it apply in every situation instead of some, and honestly, if it's standardized to every time you swap then it's less confusing because it's seen more often, in my opinion. And really, if we don't want secondary banks there are realistically two options: A) ban position swaps B) make all swaps just complete rebuilds of your player I don't think anyone wants either of those things to happen. Cmon y’all I though the MDM reform was extremely popular in leadership discussion. MOP ended up being a disaster and was cut for good reason. Personally I don’t think it’s worthy of even being in the awards stream. FWIW this proposed change breaks the rule. Earned TPE would include regressed TPE. There might be other things that would be ripe for abuse too, but I don't have time to properly comb through and apply my "how would slm loophole this?" test right now (if you know, you know). I don't think a revamp is a bad idea though, and at a glance, Laser's proposal seems pretty solid. As for worries about complications, it should be possible to create a tool to automate a lot of the process (and checks) if this is the approach we want to take. If it would put some minds at ease, I'm happy to go through this with Laser (and whoever else) to rework it to eliminate any possible loopholes we can find, and build a tool to simplify the position change process. RE: S31 Universal Rules Summit Results - Vorshayla - 09-24-2021 Why even have user voted awards? It should point based. Takes bias right out of it and just gives points based on stats. We have a Most dedicated User award that can be user voted. Things like "x" of the year should be stat based. Find some values, attach it to stats like fantasy, and have at it. RE: S31 Universal Rules Summit Results - Oles - 09-25-2021 I'm honestly most disappointed in the MDM rule not going through. The point of MDM should be about encouraging and spotlighting above and beyond activity, and while it may not happen as much now, 1 person winning the award 3 times in 4 seasons is not what the award should be about. Rule 6 should have been added I think, I don't really see the argument against it.
