Yeah that's dumb. Unfortunately people also yell "tiger bait" at away teams visiting. It's dumb AF.

The -eau being at the end of many french names was custom for Cajuns. For those who could not read or write english on their own, documents would be signed with the "X." Creating this eau-x at the end of names.
I don't like celebrating the ignorance of my ancestors. That's just me. It's become something else now entirely and I can understand the slogan "Geaux" ____
