OL Changes - Bzerkap - 10-23-2017

The problem with this is it limits the choices that players can switch to due to the amount of TPE spent in blocking attributes and strength.

DT is viable as you can simply ignore moving strength and just move blocking attributes.
You might be able to do the same Power Rushing LB/DE.
TE might be viable if you choose a blocking TE.

QB, WR, DB, some LB and RB are kind of off the table.

Here are my TPE allocations as of last update:
Bank: 11
Strength: 160
Agility: 25
Arm: 2
Intelligence: 20
Accuracy: 2
Tackling: 6
Speed: 25
Hands: 6
Pass Blocking: 100
Run Blocking: 70
Endurance: 45
Kick Power: 2
Kick Accuracy: 2

Total: 476 Can Move: 238

If I move all of my pass and run blocking I am already at 170, and then I can take 58 from strength max. This leaves me with 102 TPE in strength still. I basically cannot allocate this to be a QB as most QBs have a max strength allocation of 45 TPE.

So I could take 115 from strength leaving 45. But then I only can take out 123 from the blocking stats and so I am left with 47 TPE in useless blocking stats.

So I am not saying you have to fix this or it's a travesty if you don't, but just know the limitations of this 'free' position change.

Switch to whatever you like. Be a kicker if it tickles your fancy. During the S1 QB thing we had quarterbacks gaining 100+lbs to switch to DT or OL.

I believe so but let me double check with @7hawk77 as this is his baby

If a player changes positions they will be allowed to move 50% of their total TPE to new attributes. No attribute may go over the maximum value allowed with the new build, even if it was above it before the position switch.
- If a player needs to add or drop weight to fit the new position they may do so as much as is needed
- If a player is too short or tall for the new position they may change their height to the minimum required height (if they were too short before the switch) or the maximum allowed height (if they were too tall before the switch) for their new position archetype

Players get to move 50 % of their spent TPE, so they need to ensure they check how much the had spent on each attribute, not the number that the attribute was at. This is because of the different starting attributes of the different archetypes, so 50 tpe on speed for a speed wr starting archetype would get speed up to a different number than 50 tpe for a red zone wr starting archetype

If you want to see an example look at this post - http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=...indpost&p=39637

You may change even if you have changed move in a swap to OL. You still must follow the above position swap rules.

Those weren't the rules that QBs had to follow during the S1 swap. QBs were bound by height/weight to switch to the max/min depending if you were under or over, but they were not bound by the 50% rule. See my screenshot above.

Oh wow nice find TC, I didn't remember that we had gone with that. I thought they were treated like normal switches back then. Then again, they were at significantly lower TPE than these OL who are switching. Let me get back to you guys on this.

I went off memory. My work blocks image sharing sites so I can't see it. Sounds good to me then. I hope 100% is implemented
