S3 DSFL Awards Ceremony - HENDRIX - 10-31-2017

There were two wide receivers in the DSFL that set themselves apart from the rest of the pack, let's meet them:

Hunter Mason NOR - 87 rec, 1273 yds, 6 TDs
Jonathan Shaloiko POR - 84 rec, 1253 yds, 4 TDs

Both of these players were deserving, but a slight edge in production across the board gives Hunter Mason the top WR award!

Next up are the workhorses of every team, the running backs.

Shawn Ariel NOR 10 GP, 982 yds, 8 TDs
John Goose SA 14 GP, 1050, 9 TDs

Our last positional award to be announced is arguably the most important position, QB. Here we have our first unanimous winner receiving all eleven votes from GMs and Head Office members.
















And the award goes to... Shawn Brady of the KCC He finished the season with 3020 yards and 15 TDs. Sources say this was his last season before retirement, just know that we will never forget about this season you had, Shawn.

If you have been paying attention at all, this next award winner should have zero surprise. This is the offensive rookie of the year which was chosen from the S4 prospects. The unanimous winner is Shawn Ariel NOR , come on down and get another trophy! @Luminous

Now for the Defensive rookie of the year. The voting for this was the closest of any award, let's check out the two candidates:

FS Eddy Kim TIJ - 76 Tak, 1 FF, 3 INT, 3 PDs
DE Andres Waiters POR - 18 Sak, 10 TFL

Waiters POR wins with 6 votes to 5 ! Congratulations to @Chukka for winning his second award of the night.

Time to give the front offices a little lovin'. The DSFL GM job is a tough one, their rosters are made up of young players who are trying to develop their skills for an eventual NSFL call up. The very nature of those call ups could have a massive impact on the team. At any second a main cog on their squad could be on his way to an NSFL city. The following front office was able to battle through the ups, downs, and roster turnover on their way to winning the DSFL championship. With a nearly unanimous vote, congratulations to the SA staff which includes @kckolbe , @iamslm22 , and @bovovovo !

We are getting close to the end of the night, we have the big three awards left: OPOY, DPOY, and MVP.

Leading off this final trio of awards is a usual suspect. Superstar NOR RB Shawn Ariel. He only played ten regular season games, but his production and impact on the game was undeniable. He brings home the Offensive Player of the Year award too! @Luminous
