(S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - Battleborn - 02-18-2018 Ryan Sierra – DT – Orange County Otters S6 – WE PT #1 I am so glad Terrell Brister decided to talk about a night in Tijuana. The day began with a game in Kansas City, MO. Following this big game, the Luchadores had clinched a playoff birth. Instead of staying in KC for the night before flying home, the Lucha made an immediate flight back to Tijuana to celebrate their victory, season turn-around, and play-off clinching birth. That night at the club, Dean, Terrell and I were partaking in some adult entertainment and drinks. We began to go our separate ways as Dean stepped out with a couple local gals. I was sitting back in VIP with a couple old friends, catching up, when I heard some yelling. Apparantly, the bartender had made the call to cut off Terrell. He took exception to this and began to yell and scream, “Don’t you know who I am?! I’m the best f**king DB in the league! You don’t give me my drinks, I’ll take them!” Before I could get over to the ruckus, Terrell was blindsided by one of the club’s bouncers. Unfortunately, for Brister, I couldn’t get him out of the club before the Federales arrived. I was however able to get them to drop any charges and just allow him to sleep it off in the drunk tank. TB’s explanation about what happened that night is about saving face. We like to give him shit for not being able to hold his liquor. 251 words. (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - toivo - 02-18-2018 Valentines Day Shawty is asking me all week, you made plans, and I'm not going to let her know I didn't, so I tell her "yeah". I keep getting on the sauce and forgetting to make plans, but what you gonna do? Valentines Day comes and still no plans, I don't care, we're going to play it by ear. Girls are always like "I really like a spontaneous guy", so that's what I'm going to give you. We're going to go out to the city, inner harbor, and have a nice meal. We don't have any reservations but we don't need them. We might have to sit outside by the pool, so bring your coat, baby baby. Of course you can't find parking on Valentine's day, so I let the lady out and valet is full, as always. I go to park and can't find any legal parking so I figure I'll just take the fine if it means I can pull this off. We have dinner out by the pool/bar of this seafood restaurant at a hotel. It went amazing, and somehow I was looked at as a saint. I love Baltimore and being spontaneous, it was rewarding. (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - dropbear - 02-18-2018 Howard Miller kept his nose out of trouble his entire high school and college football career, obeying the rules and restrictions of his specific teams and coaches to a fault. Some say he might have had a better rapport with the guys throwing him the ball if he actually went to some post-game celebrations or hung out after school. But instead, Miller was straight from class, to practice, and then home. It kept him on a pathway toward a professional football career while some around him had their hopes and dreams go up in flames due to poor decisions made while under the influence. With that said, there are reports circulating that after the Kansas City Coyotes selected Miller with the first overall pick in the S6 DSFL draft, he more than made up for his lack of shenanigans throughout this younger years. Some claim to have seen Miller dancing shirtless on the roof of a Chicago nightclub, others claim Miller offered to pay for the next bet placed by every single guest in a casino, and there are even reports of Miller being arrested by Chicago PD, and his manager Ben Longshaw having to fork out an exorbitant amount of money to not only bail him out but keep things on the hush. The rumours remain unsubstantiated, but it is no less entertaining to imagine the typically softly spoken Miller gallivanting around Chicago in the wake up of his draft selection. If the rumours are true, he'll hope his long-delayed hangover is cleared up by the first game of the preseason. (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - Leafer - 02-18-2018 After the draft, Austin Roenick decided in the offseason instead of having to train and get ready for the season and a new start as a linebacker, he decided to just relax and head to a party at night. He was with his personal friends and having a lot of fun. He cannot drink because that is bad and he doesn't want to get in trouble. Then there was a hawks hater in the party and started trash talking Roenick and making a lot of shit talk towards him. Roenick did not keep silent, he defended himself and really insulted that bastard. Then that bastard tried to fight Roenick but roenick just knocked his teeth out. Roenick then and his friends left while that bastard was down bleeding in full of embararsment. Obviously Roenick loved it but the NSFL and Baltimore Hawks did not and it was against the rule in his contract. bviously it went under his nerve. (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - Beaver - 02-18-2018 Oh man, I've definitely gotten into my fair share of sticky situations if you know what I mean but aside from having my body coated in the semen of my hairless Filipino poolboys I also recently got into a tight spot with Connor Tanner who is the villain that tried to destroy the NSFL which would've really sucked because the NSFL is fun and stuff so I'm really glad his mass retirement didn't work and we're still going strong and that's why I'm glad that when Tanner approached me to try to get me to retire I told him NO emphatically and strongly and held that position even when he threatened to blackmail me and ruin my career just like he did to the other players that retired which is really a pretty shitty thing to do if you think about it like what's in it for you, you know? Code: 150 words (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - TrueTexican - 02-18-2018 Well I'm not one for dwellin' on the past, but I have gotten into quite a few hairy situations to say the least. My last dance with a sticky situation came in the form of the female variety so to speak. I was seeing a girl named Peggy Sue while I was a senior in high school and she had a cousin named Betty Lou who looked almost exactly like Peggy. You'd swear the two of them were twin sisters if you saw them side by side! Well one night after a game, we were celebratin' out near the lake and I pulled up in my Ford truck trying to find Peggy and I reckon I saw her kissing another boy when my headlights shown up. I jumped out of that truck faster than a cat in water and tackled that boy down to the ground and starting punching his lights out. After I heard some screamin' and Peggy hollerin' my name I realized that was Betty Lou makin' out with that boy on the ground and not Peggy. Boy did I feel downright terrible for hurtin' him and I got arrested for assault. Luckily, my poppa was one of the deputies in town and we got him to drop the charges on account of me needing to play for our high school team in the state championship. (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - Drizzy - 02-18-2018 Despite being only a couple of years out of college, San Jose defensive end Cordell Joshua has been in a few sticky situations out there in the big bad world. The first arose when he was smoking cannabis in his dorm room at Texas Tech. The school threatened to come down hard on it as a serious violation of their athletic code of conduct but in the end he managed to escape with only a written warning. Then during his first year of play in the DSFL, a paternity suit by a fellow student at Texas Tech who Cordell was alleged to have engaged in sexual activity with resulting in an unwanted pregnancy emerged, with the woman in question attempting to collect a large amount of backdated child support among a large variety of other costs. The Coyotes legal team represented Cordell and managed to squash the suit before it gained traction, citing the lack of DNA evidence due to the mothers refusal to submit a sample from the child as evidence enough that he was not the father. Once this went away, a stern talking to from his coach demanding he be less of an idiot in future followed, and since then Cordell has worked to be a consummate professional and a good role model for the younger fans of the NSFL. Code: 223 words (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - SwagSloth - 02-18-2018 Kennedy certainly fell into a few sticky situations early into his NSFL career. Coming from the party lifestyle on LSU campus to the quaint lifestyle of a small rural Canadian town was quite a wake-up call for the young man. However, these days, he’s left the party lifestyle behind in favor of more productive endeavors, such as professional networking, business investments, and charity aid. That said, he’s still found a way to occasionally fall into trouble of some type. During this recent offseason, Kennedy agreed to appear with one of his business partners at a public grand opening of one of their company’s stores. Not realizing it at the time, he also committed to appear in-person at a large charity event that was advertising his involvement to help raise money. Unfortunately, what he did not realize was that both events were occurring at the same time. It was indeed a sticky situation and he tried to get out of it, but choosing one over the other would clearly damage his relationship with the neglected party. Ultimately, Kennedy did choose to appear with the charity and opted to donate a little extra to support the event on behalf of the business, including a few banners pieced together at the last minute. The business partners were still unhappy that he had to cancel the grand opening, but at least he was able to save some face and promote their brand while still keeping a good name with the charitable community. 248 Words (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - ralams123 - 02-18-2018 In my first year at the University of Florida before I started college ball me and some friends had a huge run in with the law that ultimately earned me a spot on the team. After a big win against Florida State my roommate told me about a crazy party that was happens whenever we beat a team in Florida, the catch though was that if I wanted to go I had to prove my worth as a Freshman, I had to get drinks for the party the only problem was I was 18 and wasn't legally allowed to purchase alcohol. I got myself a fake ID and set out to buy the drinks a day later, everything was going smooth until a squad of cops pulled up I wasn't scared and I didn't look suspicious until one of my professors came in and immediately ratted me out. The cops made their way towards me and in a split second decision I took the alcohol and ran they were no match I was clearing fences with a single jump and cutting corners too fast for them to see where I went I sprinted all the way back to my dorm with the goods in hand proving my worth. (208 Words) (S6) - Weekend PT 1 - Sticky Situations - ralz9 - 02-18-2018 Loyalty has always been valued by Nicholas Pierno; however, early in his career, Pierno was loyal to a fault. His rookie deal wasn’t earth-shattering, but the $2,500,000 first-year salary was by far the most money he had even had in his life. Already having to pay out leases at apartments in Yellowknife and Kansas City that he’d never stay in for longer than a week after being traded to Colorado, Pierno was in a slight financial hole, but nothing too serious. Soon after, though, people from Pierno’s past began popping up asking for favors—reminding him of small, menial things they had done for him in the past. They started showing up at his house in Denver—it got to the point that Pierno’s front door was revolving constantly and he didn’t know the majority of the people that were spending time on his property. He quickly became financially burdened. After meeting with his agent to discuss, Pierno wiped the slate clean, tightened his circles and lit the ways with some bridges he had to burn, but he now knows everyone that’s around him loves him for him. |
