It’s no secret that LeClair helps out his best friend in the off-season of the NSFL as a lumberjack in northern Quebec. If he woke up tomorrow and the NSFL was suddenly disbanded there is a very high chance that LeClair would be doing a full-time lumberjack job in his friend’s company. Having focused so much on football compared to his education, LeClair would realistically only have two-real options. The first one was stated above. The second one would be the smartest one of the two and it would involve in him going back to university and completing his degree in Urban Planning.

Money, however, was never an issue for LeClair, even before the NSFL as his parents are filthy rich and would help him out thanks to some high return on investments. Going back and succeeding the family business is also an option, although the last time they talked was years ago as LeClair and his father had a falling out. Going back with his tail between his legs would be the last thing he would want to do.

If the NSFL suddenly disbanded, Fitzpatrick would be kinda fucked. Having only played part of a rookie season, it’s not like he’d have a huge legacy to fall back on. While he may be one of the most athletic quarterbacks, it’s not like he’s one of the most athletic football players. Like most quarterbacks, he spent some time as a pitcher when he was younger, so he would probably try to get in to pro baseball. Given that arm strength was never really one of his major selling points, he would be more of a finesse pitcher, trusting in throwing safe, controlled pitches rather than just firing in fast pitches. Since he wouldn’t have one of the best arms or be a master of technique, he would have to rely on his natural athleticism and be one of the best fielding pitchers. The occasional dive or quick turn to throw to first can make up for allowing contact.

Shannon Hobbs just got started in the NSFL's developmental league, the DSFL. If the NSFL were to shut down, it would be a rough time for Hobbs. However, I think if the NSFL and its developmental league just ceased to exist, Hobbs would try his hand at the EFL. He wouldn't be eligible to play in the NCAA any longer but the EFL is always looking for talent in the defensive back field.

BUT, it we're in a universe where the EFL doesn't exist, I think Hobbs could be a personal trainer. He isn't super muscular or anything, but he is in great physical shape. He also is a great teacher and has good interpersonal skills and can talk to anyone. I genuinely hope the NSFL never closes its doors, though, because where else can a new college graduate make $5 million per year in a D-League? I'm not sure there's any other league that pays that much for a developmental league.

If Jaylon Broxton woke up one morning and found the NSFL to have disbanded, he would probably spend several months trying to figure out how the hell the league collapsed over night. Once that adjustment period had passed he would probably be forced to turn tricks on the corners of Orange County. He has been criminally underpaid for his entire career, and spending all of his time playing and practicing football has left him devoid of any real world skills of any kind. It has, however, left him with the chiseled body of a greek god and rugged good looks. These two things would help him fetch an extremely high fee as a male prostitute. He has become close personal friends with Ian Bavitz during their time with the Otters, and Bavitz has become a pimp since his retirement. Now looking to expand his clientele to women, a partnership would be the most logical fit for Broxton in his post-football career.

Before becoming a professional football player Angus Winchester grew up on a farm in rural Tennessee, so hard manual labor was no stranger to the young athlete. If his football career had not panned out, he would likely still be working in a job with some sort of manual labor involved. My guess is that Angus would still be doing farm life, or potentially would be working in construction. I could just see it now, Angus with a beer gut sucking on cigarettes as he lays roofing tiles, climbing into his beat up pickup at the end of the day to come home to his doublewide trailer and suck down a six pack of light beer and watch a Thursday night football game while his 6 children run around the house screaming and hitting each other with pool noodles and his wife yells at him for being a fat lazy fuck who needs to help her more around the house but all he does is get stinking drunk if he even comes home at all and wastes all their money on that stupid Buick Grand National in the shed that won't even start. yeah, Angus would just be an average American living the dream.

If all of a sudden the league disbanded, Joliet L. Christ would be a starting pitcher in the PBE. In high school, Christ was a top recruit in both football and baseball and has the ability to really throw the ball with a mid to high nineties fastball and also a slider, split-finger and a changeup. Christ also has a good bat and played some first base in high school also so if pitching did not work out, he would be able to make it as a first baseman in the PBE also. Christ's love of football is real though so he is hoping the NSFL/DSFL would not disband. He also has the option to play in the EFL if necessary but the QB talent is strong there and he may end up having to ride the bench for most teams in the EFL. I believe Christ would move to baseball to be able to keep playing professional sports and to be able to do something he is good at. There might be a slight learning curve to the PBE since he last played in high school but Christ is athletic and gifted enough to succeed. This is what Joliet would do if and only if the NSFL disbanded.

Adriana Falconi would do like any kid with parents owning a business do: work at said business and hope to be just competent enough to become the owner after the passing of the old folks. Being the youngest child in her family, however, she probably would need a plan B. So what better idea than open her own shop right accross from her family's? The Falconis have been dealing in restauration for many decades now but their restaurant isn't exactly the best either. They stay in business because their sign is awesome and tourists are too dumb to look anywhere else. After almost two years living in Mexico, Adriana made some connections in the taco making business and could use those to make her business flourish. After all, Americans are proving that the business of making fake tacos is a very lucrative one. Doesn't matter where you're from, tacos are always delicious.

If the DSFL just disappeared, Tanner Hendrix the second would be ok, he double majored in college and has degrees in both Finance and Economics and could easily find a job outside the league. Whether that job be for another pro sports league or for the government he could easily find a 6 figure job. He wouldn’t be happy or fine with it but he would do what needs to be done to continue to provide for himself. Who knows he could even start a new league to take place of the disbanded NSFL, that of course would only be if this great and glorious league ever disappeared. Hendrix might even try his hand at pro baseball like another religious football player did (Tim Tebow) but like the other guy would probably only find limited success. Long story short though is that Hendrix would be perfectly fine if the league vanished and could easily find another source of income.

If the NSFL had it's infrastructure fall from beneath it's feet overnight and it all came tumbling down, Emilia Rudd is one of the many players in the league that would be perfectly comfortable transferring their careers over to something more realistic and life like. It's not uncommon for pro football players to achieve their goals in post secondary and earn degrees, and for Rudd that was going to be a major part of her considering taking the path of pro football. When it came time and Rudd walked across the stage, she had prepared herself for a safe and comfortable life. Rudd would likely find herself holding onto a steady job soon after leaving the ranks of the football community, and could with minimal effort lead a perfectly normal suburban lifestyle. Thanks to her time at Michigan State, losing the NSFL wouldn't even be a big knock, and would rather just be another bump in the road of life.
