I'm curious what people think about the AD signing.

I could think of worse backs to sign. And I can think of better ways to use our cap money. But if the Saints can resurrect Tim Hightower I think we can expect good things from AD. But I don't expect 1000 yards either.

Giants fan here. Did you know OBJ skipped OTAs? Bet you didn't, no one reported on it.

From what I can tell it's just us...And they should definitely cut that guy. He's a cry baby diva who doesn't even care about winning.

But nah I'm hype for this season. Just the idea of having John Ross take attention off AJ (even though he seems to be able to make ridiculous catches even in double coverage) is enough to excite me. Not even gonna lie.

Not sure why everyone seems to be projecting 7-9 though. Eight wins should be our floor, imo.

Make that 5 people now! Also, that last part was just what I said earlier. I really don't care if he ends up being a First Round Decoy. I just love him taking attention away from Green.

He Skipped?!

Love em or hate em this is only positive things about Bengals players. None of them (current ones) would dream of pulling this shit. One guy did, Paul Dawson, when he was being lazy and not showing up to team events. He was our 3rd rounder from a few years back. Guess what happened? We cut his ass. Then, NO ONE in the NFL pick him up and we put him on the practice squad. This is one form of shit the Bengals FO does not take. Proud of that.

He skipped the optional team activities. I was actually being sarcastic. Lol. He was doing his own conditioning/training and he'' be there for the mandatory stuff. It was just a huge deal on ESPN for weeks.

False.

Steelers TD to Martavius Bryant would have come off the board considering once he re-clutched the ball to his thigh he did not re-establish himself with 2 feet in the field of play (arguably one of the worst calls of all time)

(Even Dean Blandino said this was not a catch - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2608276...tch-vs-bengals)

Giovanni Bernard is hit CLEARLY helmet to helmet and the Steelers recieve the fair hit call which turns the ball over to them late in the game. This also knocks Bernard completely out of the game, with no reprucussions for the Steelers. How are you gonna knock a man out cold via a helmet to helmet hit and have no flag?

When the Pacman Jones thing goes down, Joey Porter (A LB coach) should not be on the field yelling at our players. A coach being on the field without permission (I'd give a HC and arguably any offensive coach permission at that time) is a 15 yard penalty which offsets one of the 2 penalties making it a 45 yarder instead of a 30.

The Bengals had a very rough ending to the game, but it never even should have got to that point tbh. Take that TD off the board and add a FG instead and the Steelers need a TD at the end not a FG to win. Give us the ball back on the Bernard fumble and now we score at least 3 more points, potentially making it a 2 possession game.

They still played undisciplined. Excuses are excuses and until the Bengals actually show up in the playoffs, my nickname for them is justified. I get you're a Bengals fan and obvious bias is there, but come on. Have the Bengals succeeded in the postseason? No they haven't so try to validate in the other direction all you want, but your Bengals aren't not who you think they are.

Andy Dalton has how many playoff wins?
Marvin Lewis has been there 14 seasons now and has this to show for it:
0 Super bowls
0 Playoff Wins
.545 Winning percentage in the Regular Season

I hate to break it to you but I think Marvin Lewis is a good coach, but not a great one and the Bengals can't sit there and say "Well we lost because of the refs and blah blah blah". Fact is they have disappointed. You can disagree but the facts are there.
