(S16) Bonus Mini-PT - flyeaglesfly29 - 06-24-2019 This offseason, Lightsout Lewis is doing all that he can to cut some weight! Why you ask? Well, it's a surprise, but nevertheless, Lewis is also taking part in the moving process. You never realize how much shit you acquire in 2 years until you have to move it across state lines. Moving from Kansas City to the "Windy City" of Chicago is a blessing and a curse. A curse because, well, moving sucks. A blessing because I am closer to making my NSFL debut with the best damn franchise around! I'm so damn excited to finally put on the red and black for the Butchers and begin making our mark on this league! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - Bwestfield - 06-24-2019 There are a million things to do in the offseason. Between NSFL Season 15 and Season 16 James Bishop is visiting a friend of his Uncles. Bradley Westfield. James visited Bradley in order to get some tips and tricks in order to set himself above and beyond the rest of his competition. Not knowing who his quarterback is for the upcoming season just means that he has to be that much better going into the season. There will be no replacement as good as Mycycle McCormick. At least not right away. So day and night Bradley taught him for two weeks. James said of the training “Brad may not have the speed he used to but he still can show me up.” (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - Mooty99 - 06-24-2019 What do I Mako Mendonca enjoy doing in my off-season you ask, well, it is not what you would expect. What I do to wind down is to hit the beaches of Palm Beach (or the Essex countryside when back in the UK) with my metal detector. There is nothing I love more than a calm stroll waving my detector slowly across the ground dreaming of lost Spainish bullion or perhaps a Saxon hoard. I have of course only found cans, ring pulls and the odd pair of sunglasses but you never know what you might find lost to the sand and soil! (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - shipwreckrising - 06-24-2019 Tony is travelling the world this offseason. He has never been to his families home country of Italy and is excited at the prospect of seeing where the Gabagool family comes from. Of course, the town is a little hill town in Sicily called Gabagooli. It is the sort of place where time stands still. They have the best cured meats an Italian could hope for. The sun beating down on his face also brings him joy. He was able to discover many long lost cousins and such. He met a woman there and they fell in love and got married and then right before he was going to come back she died in a car bomb attack from a mafioso that didn't like his family. Now Tony is back to football, with no more distractions getting in the way. (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - plantane - 06-24-2019 Xerxes Ridley has been busy all offseason this time around. As he is a new player on a new team, he has been spending a lot of his time preparing for the big debut season ahead of him. Between getting to know his new teammates, helping the front office set the facility up, and watching film on his future opponents in the NSFL, Ridley has not been taking much time to rest. Even though the DSFL draft hasn't happened yet, Ridley has already been working to ensure that the rookies will feel welcomed when they arrive. Ridley has been communicating with his teammates and administration regarding this and setting up enough space for the rookies to have to themselves. This is going to be a big year for Ridley and the Butchers and he is taking it very seriously. It is clear that Ridley feels that the Butchers' performance will be a direct reflection of himself. (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - toivo - 06-24-2019 Bona’beri Jones is training during the day and relaxing in the evening. He’s working out 6 days a week, taking off one day to recover. Working hard so there’s no catch up period when the season starts back up. Lately, Jones has been relaxing by watching the playoffs for other sports, like hockey and basketball. Then there’s the regular season of baseball to put your eyes on and kill some time. This is just all about staying out of trouble and keeping the mind focused on being a complete athlete. Next season, Jones will return fresh and ready to go since he’s been training all along. (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - TeyonSchavari - 06-24-2019 There is no such thing as an off-season. I've been working with my personal trainer and chef to make sure that I am staying in shape and eating a healthy diet to make me the best I can be. I definitely want to keep improving. Along with that, I've practiced meditating so that I can get my mind right and be in a good mental state. All that said though, I've been keeping up with my prayer and have been attending church every week, something that was hard to do during the season. I also visited my family in New Jersey, and I was happy to be able to go back home. Other than that though, I'm excited for the next season to start! (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - TropicaliaCC - 06-24-2019 Dexter Banks is using his first offseason to put in extensive work on his game. Banks went back home to Savannah, GA where he is hitting the gym twice a day and doing speed work on his high school track five days a week. When reached for comment about his routine Banks responded, “I need to get faster. I’ve been watching film on the top wideouts in the NSFL and they all have one thing in common… speed, hot, nasty, badass speed”. In his free-time Banks says he enjoys cruising around on his brand new Mako 414 CC Sportfishing boat. “Yeah, that’s my baby. She’s fast as hell just like me”, Banks bragged. (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - TickleTim - 06-24-2019 It’s been 3 months since Kicky Bobby declared for the NSFL draft as Junior from Alabama College, most revered him as a typical redneck idiot from the backwaters of some forgotten town trying to make it in the NSFL. In those 3 months for at least 12 hours a day, Kicky Bobby has been kicking field goals and practicing his kicking. He felt at home on the football field since he was born on a football field one night because his idiot father made his mom watch him try and make a 40-yard field goal. Today and every day forward until the draft, Kicky Bobby will spend most of his time at the field kicking or making Walmart Ads for insane items only rednecks would use. (S16) Bonus Mini-PT - Starboy - 06-24-2019 From Kansas City, back to Atlanta. Joshua Palmer made his way back to his hometown with his family to help work at the family diner for a few weeks before the DSFL Pro Bowl. His well talked about demeanor for a small time tight end for the Kansas City Coyotes managed to land him a spot as an extra in Stranger Things to which Palmer said was a “fun experience to be apart of the major hit show.” Joshua Palmer also managed to catch a few Braves games and Waffle House that he had been missing due to his long distance from the home of the NL East leaders and now Palmer is waiting to see where he ends up in the NSFL draft. |
