(S16) - Ultimus Week - TeyonSchavari - 08-07-2019 1) Playoff Reviews - 230 words The Orange County Otters were favored to win by a large margin against the underdog Arizona Outlaws. The Otters finished the season with a 10-3 record, a great improvement from last year and impressive considering the league expansion. With an MVP candidate in Gus T.T. Showbiz and scary receiving threats in Vinny Valentine, Sunnycursed, and Johnny Blaze, the air attack was something to be feared. Second-year back Apollo Reed also couldn't be forgotten about on the ground, and the defense was one of the best in the league all year. So what happened? Of course, the Outlaws came to play while the Otters crapped the bed. Fumbling in the red zone twice killed two great drives for OCO. Showbiz threw two picks on the day. And the defense let the Outlaws run all over them. Nothing went right for the Otters. On the flip side, former Otter and lead back for the Outlaws during the conference championship Seer Zepherous ran for 95 yards on 5.3 YPC and two touchdowns. Slim Shady, their leading rusher on the year, was able to add 57 on the ground and a touchdown of his own. Reese didn't do anything transcendental but played well enough to lead his team to victory. The Outlaws defense was smothering, only allowing a field goal all day. In the end, the Outlaws pulled off a convincing upset, beating the Otters 31-3. (S16) - Ultimus Week - KillaScrilla - 08-07-2019 Task 2 As the championship game approaches we are the underdog. The Pythons will end up winning it though and let me tell you why. We was able to beat them in our first matchup of the season in their home, which is a tough place to play if not the toughest place. We led the league in every major category, led by our MVP Armstrong and a beast in Hugo. Not only that but our rb is a monster in the backfield as well. Taking pressure off Hugo and spreading out the defense for NA are Saba and Jackson who with Hugo make the most dangerous wr core in the league.Thats just the offense side. On defense we have the stranglehold gang led by Mervin who has done decent against Banks this season. Him and Adok makes a great defensive back field along with the doughnut brothers at linebackers. They have a great front wall and team all around but I believe we pull it off. Our road record was better than our home record so I don’t believe that will be a issue. The pythons win 21-14 I believe. Either way it will be a great game. Go pythons. (S16) - Ultimus Week - ddrector - 08-07-2019 Task 1: Outlaws at Otters The Outlaws completely dismantled the home team Otters, 10-3 this season, in the ASFC Championship Game. A big upset in most peoples eyes as the visiting Outlaws, a 7-6 record this season, opened up the scoring early with a quick Slim Shady touchdown after a 91 yard kickoff return. After a quick 3 and out from the Otters the Outlaws quickly scored again off a 19 yard Seer Zephyrous rush. That put the Outlaws up 14-0 just 4 minutes into the game. From that point until the end of the 3rd quarter the only score was a 40 yard Lawes field goal shortly before half time. The Outlaws opened up the scoring again in the first 5 minutes of the 4th quarter with 2 more touchdowns, a 1 yard rush from Zephyrous and a 2 yard pass from Reese to Murphy. The Otters were finally able to get on the board with a Dasistwirklichseinnachname field goal late in the game, but 2 4th quarter interceptions by Showbiz was too much to overcome and the Outlaws won in convincing fashion 31-3. Turnovers were the major difference in this game as the Outlaws had a +3 turnover differential. Interestingly, the Otters actually had 1 more first down than the Outlaws, a strange anomaly when looking at the final score. Task 3: It’s Ultimus week here in the NSFL and so we are going to take a deep dive into this QB matchup for the upcoming championship between the Outlaws and Liberty. Reese and Falconi are both excellent QBs and are capable of leading their teams to a championship. For the season both players threw about the same number of passes, but Falconi had about 500 more passing yards than Reese. Falconi also had quite a few more pass TDs than Reese at 36 to 20, but he also threw more interceptions at 15 to 9. In their single season matchup Reese had the better game with 4 TDs and 0 interceptions while Falconi had 2 of each. Will Reese prove to be the better QB again in the championship game or will Falconi get redemption and come away victorious? Strictly looking at the numbers I would give the edge to Falconi. He tends to take more shots down the field and really lit the league up this year with 36 touchdowns, but with the way the Outlaws dismantled the Otters in the conference championship it might not matter how well Falconi plays. This is an exciting matchup of two high caliber quarterbacks. Expect the game to be high scoring and whichever quarterback has the ball in his hand last will probably come away with the championship. Task 4: The NSFL Championship game between the Outlaws and Liberty is coming up and we are here to spotlight a matchup of two of the fastest players on the field. Landers, wideout for the Outlaws, is going to be primarily facing Liberty’s top corner, Emoji. Landers had a great season with 64 receptions, 1004 yards, and 6 touchdowns. Emoji also had a great year with 60 tackles, 3 interceptions, 26 pass breakups, and 1 touchdown. Landers and Emoji matched up once during the regular season as Landers had 5 receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. Emoji ended up with 4 tackles and a pass defense. Landers definitely got the best of Emoji in their regular season matchup. Emoji is one of the few corners in the league that has the speed to keep up with the electric speed of Landers, but will that be enough to slow down the Outlaws biggest threat in the passing game? Will Outlaws QB Reese be able to get the ball to Landers with Emoji’s incredible skill to break up passes? The winner of this dual between Landers and Emoji could very well decide the outcome of the NSFL Championship game. Tune in to find out who prevails in this heavy weight battle of one of the best wide receivers in the league and one of the best cornerbacks in the league. Task 12: I’m sitting down here with Outlaws star running back Slim Shady. Yes, that’s right the real Slim Shady is sitting down to talk to me about his upcoming matchup with the Liberty in the NSFL Championship game. So, Slim, you accounted for almost 1300 yards from scrimmage and 8 touchdowns this season. How do you feel like the season went? -Well, as good as those numbers look I know there is more I can do for my team in the future. We lost 6 games during the season, and if I can my averages up those losses will go away. I only averaged 4.4 yards a carry during the season, and my goal is at least 5. I also think I can contribute more in the passing game. My goal for next season is going to be 1600 yards from scrimmage, more than 10 touchdowns, and at least 50 receptions. Those are excellent goals but lets get back to the playoffs since you still have a game left to play. In the conference championship against the Otters you were outshined a bit by teammate Seer Zephyrous. He had 18 rush attempts to your 11 and got the goal line rush attempt in the 4th quarter to give him 2 touchdowns. How did you feel about that? -Oh man, me and Seer are buds. We are always rooting for each other. He had the hot hand in that game and so we kept giving him the ball. It made sense. No hard feelings from me at all. Whatever we need to do to help the team win is all I care about. How do you see the championship game going for you? -Well you know I don’t want to give too much away, but I expect to be all over the field. If I can pound the rock early that opens up the passing game. If I can be a big enough threat in the passing game from behind the line of scrimmage that will open up Landers to make those big plays downfield. Last question, do you plan on doing anything interesting this offseason? -Now that you mention it, I’ve been working on writing some songs and plan on getting in the studio and recording an album. That’s interesting Slim. I look forward to listening to it. Thanks for stopping by, and good luck in the championship game. (S16) - Ultimus Week - woelkers - 08-07-2019 3. All About the QBs I want to take a close look at the match-up between Franklin Armstrong and Jordan McCann III prior to tonight’s Ultimini; the juxtaposition of the grizzled, gun-slinging DSFL veteran and the baby-faced, mobile DSFL rookie offers plenty to discuss. The measurables suggest that Armstrong is easily the better pure quarterback, and the statistics back that assertion up; Armstrong outthrew McCann by roughly eight hundred yards this season, and, despite throwing six more interceptions, threw six more touchdown passes to level the numbers out and squeeze ahead with the best quarterback rating in the league, four points ahead of McCann. However, the passing numbers don’t tell you that McCann is a have-it-both-ways quarterback in a run first offense. The Luchadores were a close second in the league in rushing yards, a hundred and fifty yards ahead of the Pythons, and McCann contributed nearly four hundred yards on the ground, easily three hundred and fifty yards more than Armstrong. The key to determining which quarterback will ultimately hoist the Ultimini trophy with his team, is whether McCann’s arm can do enough to back up his legs, or whether Armstrong can basically do whatever he wants when he takes the field. We will know the answer soon enough. 7. Next Year As most of you already know, my San Antonio Marshals were tragically crushed by the Tijuana Luchadores in our postseason bout, falling to an almost unbelievable 0-5 against the rival Luchadores on the season, and a less-than-savory 7-8 overall. However, the roster was much better than our record suggests; Taco and Stringer built an excellent program, and unfortunately, it failed to produce the desired results this season. However, with an abundance of young talent flocking into the league this year, Taco and Stringer will have another chance to build on what the accomplished this year, and despite falling short on the first attempt, I am positive that between the two of them, these guys have what it takes to build a successful powerhouse in the DSFL, especially given that they’ve already set themselves up with a quarterback for the future, and they once again have the number one draft pick. I can promise you that with the talents these two bring to the table, San Antonio will return to powerhouse status sooner rather than later. If they can learn from the mistakes of last year’s draft and capitalize on the number one pick again, the Marshals might find themselves hoisting the Ultimini next season. 10. Rivalries As a San Antonio Marshal, you’d think I’d want to write this chunk of my PT about the Tijuana Luchadores, but I’m going to throw a curveball at you: the Portland Pythons are the overrated team in the Ultimini, and I’ll be throwing my support behind the Luchadores tonight. You might ask why this is, and let me tell you, I have two big reasons for you. First, the Pythons have no respect for the value of defense; I’ve fundamentally believed this since they agreed to trade Shane Masters to the Luchadores for Hugh Mongo in the preseason, and I will stand by this bold opinion as the Luchadore defense tramples the Pythons tonight. Second, the wide receiver corps, beyond Hugh Mongo, needs to have their egos bruised just a bit. Everybody is likely familiar with the antics of late addition Will Smith by now, and no doubt you’ve heard that Saba Donut already has an Ultimini, but many of you might have missed Action Jackson barging into Bubba Thumper’s predraft press conference last season. I believe these guys have room to learn a bit of humility, and I think the Luchadores have what it takes to give them the beating they deserve. 19. Big Fellas For this prompt, I’d like to discuss the standout defensive lineman of the Tijuana Luchadores, Shane Masters. The Luchadores agreed to send star wide receiver Hugh Mongo to the Portland Pythons in exchange for the young prospect, and both teams have benefitted immensely from the presence of their new talents, but Portland has done so relying mostly on the strength of their offense, while Tijuana spent most of the season dominating opponents on both sides of the ball, in large part due to the outstanding play of Shane Masters, especially early in the season. While his peers, Brayden Ennis and Bubba Thumper, struggled in the early games (and, I might add, failed to collect wins in round one of the playoffs), Shane Masters soared to an impressive stat line early, and ended the season well ahead of the pack, especially in tackles for loss, where he managed to accumulate sixteen, as opposed to seven combined from the other two. Now, in the Ultimini, he has a real chance to make a serious impact against the team that traded him away, and I am sure that a player like Masters is hungry to prove his value, especially with the draft just over the horizon. (S16) - Ultimus Week - Buttersqauch101 - 08-07-2019 1) Underdog This season in the nsfl and DSFL we’ve seen a lot of upsets, blowouts, and in general close games an it has all added up to the Ultimini, and Ultimate. The Ultimini features #1 Tijuana and #1 Portland is just from that it’s hard to see who would be the underdog. But if you’ve payed attention to the season you’ll be able to see that Portland is easily the underdog. Tijuana has only 2 losses all year and 1 of them was in garbage time. Portland might be the underdog if the DSFL but the main underdog in the playoffs is definitely Philadelphia. Unlike Portland, Philadelphia were not confirmed a playoff spot all season and had to earn their place. The Liberty have had an above average season and when it came to the final week of the regular season, Philadelphia hadn’t even claimed their spot yet fighting for it against Baltimore. All Philadelphia had to do was win their game against the abysmal Copperheads and they would get in. In this situation they were NOT the underdogs. When it came playoff time though they easily were. They have won back to back upset victory’s and made it to the ultimas. ————————————— 2) Magic Moment In this playoffs there were a ton of magic moments, to the winless yeti beating the winless Copperheads in a game that would change the league entirely, to Baltimore losing the last playoff spot. But for me the Magic moment of not just the playoffs, but the whole season was Arizona @ Orange County, where the heavily favored Orange County Otters would try to make it to another Ultimas. Orange County came into the stadium, cocky and ready for a celebration from winning the conference championship, their fans came in as rowdy as ever already drunk from the $7 Beer in their hands. I’m the other hand Arizona came into the game determined to not only come out as conference champions, but also as the next ultimas champions. When the game began Arizona started off the drive with a Touchdown to make it 7-0 early on. This would set the tone for the rest of the game. At halftime the score was 17-0 and the once extremely rowdy fans were already feeling regret of going to this game. The defense of the Outlaws were able to hold off the Otters until the very last drive of the game, where it was already too late with the score being 31-0. As time expired OCO kicked a field goal just so they could say they didn’t get shut out. It was definitely the magic moment of the playoffs —————————————————— 3)Next Year Kansas City is such an Up and down season this year, and we couldn’t pull it out for the win. I personally will not be sent down this season but I’m going to try and hell out with the team as much as I can until next season. With KCC there are no confirmed send downs so there is no way to build off of a vet so for another season we will be going off another fresh slate. With such a big draft class announced by the Head Office of the DSFL and the NSFL there will be a lot of people to work with and create the newest team of stars. In the last half of the season Kansas City struggled while running so personally I would make the team more pass heavy and draft a Wide Reciever very early on in the draft and would also try and get a veteran free agent to sign for our team at Quarterback. Of course we would also draft a running back in the early rounds but I would draft mostly defense because like last season we won most of our games because of a kickass defense to stand by. Also like most team we would not want ANY bad locker room influences on our team and if someone started acting out I would either trade them, release them, or make them the back up u til they could get their attitude and tone fixed up ——————————————————— 4) All About the QBs The DSFL Had 2 new Quarterbacks join the league Jordan McCann The Third eho got drafted to Tijuana, and Jim McMahon who got drafted to San Antonio. While Jim had a very up and down season with a lot of INTs he also had the best completion percentage for the whole season, sadly that couldn’t carry San Antonio to the Ultimas as they lost to McCann and Tijuana. On the other side of the ball you have Franklin Armstrong, a DSFL veteran who has spent multiple seasons playing against rookies with Portland.. This would be the biggest test for McCann as while he has played against Armstrong before, this would be a Do or Die game. Armstrong threw more Interceptions then McCann by 6, but also threw 6 more touchdowns and an extra 800 yards more than McCann in the regular season, making Armstrong the better QB in my opinion. Just because Armstrong is the better Quarterback doesn’t mean that McCann isn’t great either. McCann is known for being able to run the ball very well for a Quarterback and ran for a great 350 yards on the ground. Is this game generally a game of Veteran vs Rookie, no it isn’t. But when it comes to the Quarterbacks is it? Yes it is and we are all interested in seeing how both Quarterbacks play coming up tonight (S16) - Ultimus Week - ven_knight - 08-07-2019 4) Head to Head Matchups Portland’s WR Hugh Mongo vs Tijuana’s CB Jordan Andrews This time, the Ultimini brings an interesting matchup between the 2 best teams of the DSFL season 16. Among all the possible matchups, one that could have a great impact on the score is between Pythons WR Hugh Mongo and Luchadores CB Jordan Andrews. Let's give a brief look into season stats for both players. Mongo was one of the best wide receivers of the season and he’s certainly on his way to earn the wide receiver of the year award, finishing with a total of 1117 yards, 15.1 ypc and 5 touchdowns; he was a reliable option for QB Armstrong for most of the games and just to make a quick comparison, the 2nd place WR ended up with 985 yards. What's more important, he showed up during Portland’s playoff win over Kansas City with a performance of 5 receptions, 54 yards and 1 touchdown. Jordan Andrews had a great season as the number one corner for TIjuana with 74 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 forced fumble, 11 passes defended and 2 interceptions. He should be one strong candidate for the defensive back of the year award. During the playoff game against San Antonio, Andrews did have a good game with 4 tackles and 1 interception during the 4th quarter which turned into a field goal. It's going to be very important for Andrews to press as much as he can Mongo and limit his targets, because doing so will surely give a hard time to the Pythons offense; regardless of the outcome, this matchup is going to be one of the highlights of the Ultimini. 5) Spotlight on Youth (S15 edition): CB Emondov Emoji With a class as big as the S15 group, one is able to find many great players on almost any position. So my choice for taking the spotlight will be Philadelphia Liberty’s Emondov Emoji who’s turning out to be the top corner of this class. During season 16 and the playoffs, much of the attention went towards his teammate safety Richard D’Attoria V because of all the big plays he had in key moments of games; nonetheless, Emoji proved all season long he's able to shutdown any of the top wide receivers of the league by placing first on the most passes deflected with 26. He also finished with 60 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 touchdown. Now looking into the playoffs, he recorded a total of 8 tackles and 3 passes defended between the two games before the Ultimus. Considering the team was playing on the road and he had to limit the likes of Parker, Swift and Oles, his ended up with a good performance that allowed the offense to go off when most needed. Against Arizona in the Ultimus, he had one task to accomplish: make fellow S15 draftee Brock Landers as irrelevant as possible; and he managed by having 5 tackles and forcing Landers to post only 3 catches and 36 yards . Unfortunately for his team, they couldn't make the comeback on the last minutes of the game and Liberty lost the championship. In spite of this, be on the lookout for Emoji because with the way he has been playing the last 2 seasons, I feel he's going to become an elite cornerback sooner rather than later. 10) Rivalries The Orange County Otters were the top team of the ASFC during season 16 and everyone thought they were going to add another Ultimus trophy to their collection. I mean, they have arguably the best offense of the division with QB Showbiz running for MVP, WR Valentine becoming the #1 of the league and Sunnycurse having his back, plus a great running game with RB Reed. Also, don't forget their defense that has great players like DT Skarsgard, DT Lattimer S Brown and Schneider, as well as rookie revelation LB Grievous who did a little of everything between tackles, sacks and passes deflected. Even though the team earned their favorite status, they went on to lose the conference championship with home field advantage against the Outlaws; the worst thing was that they only managed to score 3 points, plus a -3 turnover differential. It's unthinkable to be a dominant force all season long and then go out with an awful performance, that's why the Otters are overrated. It will be interesting to see what happens next season with the team, between free agent departures and if they can build their confidence back after a terrible loss; and not just for the regular season games, they need to prove again they are able to win the big games too. 19) The Big Fellas: Arizona’s DL Part of Arizona's success for going all the way from the wildcard game up to the Ultimus comes from the consistent play of their defense. There, outside of soon to be named LBOTY Raymond Vans, the Dline had a lot to contribute for closing games and helping the team make some comebacks. DT Ricardo Morris and DE Marc Spector were a reliable pair all season long with combined stats of 81 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and 15 sacks. Now if we look into their playoff performances, both had a significant play in the two games. First against San Jose, Spector had a tackle for loss during the 4th quarter that ended up in a turnover on downs for the Sabercats. For the second game against Orange County, both linemen had a sack during the 3rd quarter; Morris on a 2nd and 1 drive that ended in a punt and Spector on a 3rd and 8. In addition, Spector had a forced fumble and recovery which prevented an Otters score in the 1st quarter. Concerning the Ultimus, their contributions weren’t as notable as past games with a total of 4 tackles and a forced fumble from Morris which happened in the 4th quarter on the last drive for the Liberty that unfortunately for the Outlaws he couldn't recover. This unit will continue to be a key part for Arizona's defensive performances in the upcoming seasons and they can count on young Morris and an experienced Spector to deliver good plays when most needed. Well to preface this, isnt it actually insane that somehow two 7-6 teams made their way into the Ultimus Bowl. Philly having the third best record in the NSFC and the Arizona Outlaws having the joint second best record in the ASFC. Now onto the game, both teams started out relatively slow. A Seer rushing touchdown (yes I'm not even going to attempt to try and type out that surname) was then cancelled out by a Farley Hank run found it's way into the endzone. Perhaps even more remarkably, both kickers managed to hit their extra points. When we moved into the second quarter, Arizona began to run away with it. Andrew Reese was in fine form, so too was their star wide receiver, Jeffrey Murphy. Two touchdowns in 3 minutes from the dynamic duo put the Outlaws firmly ahead. Two field goals by Kyle Frost and one by Arizona's Spencer Lawes meant AZ still held a 24-13 lead into the second half. Philly had a fight back in the third quarter when the ever present Falconi found an unmarked Vander Jones in the endzone for 6 followed by the extra point. Both teams would then take a field goal each, hit it and enter the 4th with AZ leading by a mere 4 points. D'Attoria picked off Reese early in the quarter to bring the Philly the lead for the first time in the game but Jeffrey Murphy clutched, snagging another touchdown pass to give AZ the dub. 3) All about the QBs Of course as I mentioned in the task before, the S16 Ultimus was a hotly contested game between the Arizona Outlaws and the Philadelphia Liberty. The Philadelphia Liberty are of course headed by their enigmatic leader Adriana Falconi. On the opposite side, defensive tackled turned elite ballslinger Andrew Reese leads the boys in red. Who performed better? Well really they both had two completely different situations because Philly had no rushing game to speak of, literally none whereas the Outlaws rushed for nearly 230 yards between the two running backs involved. So if you look at this contextually wise, Falconi had to make up for lost ground, none of it lost by her of course. Reese also had the advantage of Jeffrey Murphy showing up big and snagging 3 (all) of Reese's touchdown passes in the endzone. In the end Falconi was a mere 20/38 for 236 yards and 1 touchdown and acted largely as a game manager. On the other hand Reese acted as a pure gunslinger, making shots he didn't have to take at all. 26/43 for 256 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. So I ask of you, who had a better game? Falconi, no doubt. But at the end of the day who had a better night after? Reese because he came out of that game as an Ultimus champion. 6) Our Time Written: Why should your team be looked at the favorite to win the Ultimus or Ultimini this season. Graphics: Show with a graphic why your team is/was the best team. Why is my team looked at to be the favorite to win the Ultimus this season? Because we're easily one of the strongest teams that this league has ever seen. We utterly dominated the league from top to bottom this year, finishing easily atop the pack with an incredible 13 wins from our franchise opening 13 games. Austin absolutely railroaded the league this season and the great smashings began even as early as the preseason when we yeeted the Liberty 30-20, OCO 47-13, Colorado 22-20 and then the incredibly pathetic Baltimore Hawks 69 (nice) to 0. We absolutely hosed down the competition. Austin then continued their absolute fucking pillaging of the NSFL by squatting on NOLA 24-17, Austin assaulted the pathetic Outlaws 13-3 before easily dispatching the Orange County Otters 52-10 in what was nothing more than a formality. Now you're wondering, how can any team possibly dare to even contest the Austin Powerhouses? Short answer, they can't. Long answer, they can't still because we're like the S1-S3 Outlaws & S4 - S6 Otters combined into one superteam. Now I bet you're wondering, what the fuck am I on about? The Austin Copperheads suck and couldn't even muster up a single win this season, pre or regular, dont joke about the post. But you never specified that it HAD to be playoff teams and I don't know any of the teams in the playoffs all that much to answer tbh. A man can dream though, dreaming of winning the Ultimus with Austin of course. 7) Next year Written: If your team has been eliminated, why will the next year, or the year after that, be the year that your team is going to win the Ultimus or Ultimini. Graphics: Create a statistical summary of what improvements your team has made from the previous year or why your team was better than their record. The Austin Copperheads will win the S17 Ultimus title. Why ? Because we're going to be an absolute powerhouse next season, spinning our lowly 0 wins into 13. This will, and book it be the single greatest turnaround in NSFL or DSFL history. We won't be fucking around with a 10 season rebuild like the Colorado Yeti. Why should you believe me when I say we're going to win next years Ultimus? Easy, I'll lay it out. - We have our franchise cornerstone in Easton Cole at the QB Role. Solidity. Backing him up is the fucking incredible Zobot JugsMachine3 who's a more complete backup than Blaine Gabbert. - We have the stud Mako Mendonca who's primed for a studly year and depending on how the draft goes, we can explore options here and in other positions. - Beaver-Dantes looks ready to finally lead the charge of offensive linemen through the league by recreating the infamous Luchadore'an wall that caused so much destruction in the DSFL. - Larson looks set for a breakout year here. A couple of FA moves and drat dependant, this position looks nice. - Hardwick and Tidwell have showed an incredible amount of growth this season and we believed are poised for a dominating season from the WR corps next season. - Add in the fact that we've got a monster defensive unit and I'm over 200 words, Austin will win the S17 Ultimus baby. Believe it! (S16) - Ultimus Week - WALDO - 08-08-2019 I start with task 15 15) Going to Disneyland! Written: Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland, or describe how they celebrated. Oh Boy. You have just opened a can of worms. Jeffery Murphy, fresh of a 3 Touchdown reception game in the Ultimus, which earned him the MVP award in the Outlaw's championship game. In a stunning turn, the outlaws drove down the field with less than two minutes left, Jeffery caught a Touchdown pass from his QB, the winning score, securing the game for the now four time champion Outlaws. How did he celebrate, you ask? He used the $1 million to take him, his QB, his now wife, and his college buddy Anthony to a resort in New Zealand. They took a tour of the island and had lots of fun. Afterwards, they did go to disneyland, where they were welcomed by the mouse himself, and were giving a personal tour of the park, before riding all of the rides. They then returned to Arizona, where the team held a championship parade, and showed off the new threads on their jerseys, which had a logo of the catch, and the words "CHAMPIONS FOREVER" engraved under it. In his championship speech, he thanked the city for being with him through it all. After he started to cry, the crowd began chanting “MVP, MVP, MVP, MVP” and he lifted the trophy while screaming his lungs out because he knew, he knew this was the best moment of his life. The MVP trophy sits where it belongs, on Jeffery’s trophy shelf, next to his wedding photos, his team photos, his first ever high school trophy, a MVP for winning the 3A state championship, the heisman trophy, and a photo of something he looked at a lot. His wife, finding out that she was pregnant with two perfect children. 1) Playoff Predictions, Reviews: Written: Give a short write up of one or multiple playoff matches. If completed before the airing of the sims have predictions, after if it is a review of the game This text is written from the point of view of a sportscenter commentator. The game is over, the champions have been crowned, a Ultimus MVP is on his way to New Zealand covered in champagne and press. A hot summer night in Arizona is where we arrive, the Outlaws arrive at the stadium, they make their way to the locker room they are all too familiar with. They were home. Last night, they slept in their own beds, their kids woke them up, and their wife had bacon cooking on the stove. The Liberty didn’t have that luxury, but did it even matter in the end? Well let us see The game started out fairly, both teams scored a touchdown back to back. But then, going into half, Arizona had owned the Liberty, it looked like this would just be another blowout ultimus like some of the others have been. Liberty caught the Home team napping, obtaining the lead going into the fourth on this fantastic play by the entire team, who were favorites if only by a slim margin. With a little more than two minutes left in the game, the Liberty scored. It was all in the Outlaw’s hands now. With time bleeding off the clock, they went to work. After a long drive, they were close, twelve yards out. With the fans all standing, over 50 million watching at home, clutching their beers, holding hands, holding their breath. “The snap, he looks around, he moves to the left. HE HITS MURPHY! TOUCHDOWN ARIZONA! WITH ONE MINUTE LEFT” What would become the game winning touchdown, was scored by someone who led the DSFL in interceptions about 3 years prior. Congratulations, Arizona Outlaws, your Season 16 NSFL champions. 14) That Magic Moment Written: Pick one moment from a playoff game and describe what made it so amazing to watch. This PT uses sources from multiple people. First, Arizona superfan Dave Younston Ok look. I have been an Arizona fan my entire life, I still have my video of me when they first one the Ultimus and me absolutely wrecking my living room because they won. So when I saw Murphy catch that pass, I dare say I woke my entire block up. I remember when they got to that spot, I was clenching my fists on the coffee table, my wife was sure it was going to break. We had invited a huge group of friends over to watch, and the entire room exploded when the throw was put into the endzone. That moment in my life, will be a moment I will never forget. Seeing the joy of my friends and my wife. That, that was the best part. Second, photographer Anthony Kindred. Well hi. Yes, I am Anthony you hear about from Jeffery’s mouth, we played at Florida State together, him winning the heisman, me being the QB who handed him the ball and let him outrun every defender. I decided to become a photographer, in which I photograph some of Jeffery’s NSFL games and have done quite a lot of photo essays on him. Today, however, I made a real masterpiece, I got 5 photos. These 5 photos tell a story, they start with Jeffery turning and grabbing the ball, to him turning and seeing the defender, to him reaching for the endzone, to him running in untouched, to him ripping off his helmet and screaming into the heavens. It really was one of the greatest moments captured on film. http://gomhl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic...ndpost&p=125980 (S16) - Ultimus Week - dizzyDC - 08-08-2019 Code: 7) Next year Code: 8) Strategies Code: 15) Going to Disneyland!
