What would I overturn? There are a lot of options for me to choose from here. I could try and overturn all of the games we lost so that the Otters would be undefeated heading into the playoffs with the first seed and home field advantage. I could overturn the "resim, actually nevermind" that happened so that I could go back to having my first and only defensive touchdown. It would also be nice to resim all of the games until I have better stats than Leaf. But there is one that I would like to overturn the most.

The trade of Sunnycursed to the Hawks was a move that really hurt. He was a great locker room presence, and outstanding teammate, and a heck of a player. He might have even been the best player on our team. We did get a couple of other guys that are good people, but they are quiet and lack the leadership that Sunny provided. I understand the logic behind the trade and know that it may be better for our future as a team, but it still stings to see him in another uniform. So, given all of the things that I would want to overturn, this trade is what I'd like to see overturned the most.

What would I overturn, you ask? This is very very easy to answer, the cancelled re-sim match in week 1. It was grossly unfair on the Copperheads that the original score was reverted back to especially after they re-simmed the game and then back down. The Copperheads were missing about 700 tpe from primarily their quarterback the number 1 wide receiver and the top defensive back, as well as having all their offensive line bots set to a much lower level, essentially they had to play a game with 1 hand tied behind their back. And to have it re-simmed showing that with a full strength team we would have crushed New Orleans only for the re-sim to be cancelled was a crushing blow, after all with this win the Copperheads would be in the playoffs. The reason for canceling really grated was a small part of this fine community bitched continuously because they lost stats (with one unnamed person claiming that after losing some stats in week 1 that he would miss out on defensive player of the year!) was a joke. I do agree that the re-sim was to hasty and all trams should have been check for missing TPE, but then the logical solution should have been to re-sim the whole of week 1. Well I am glad I got that out of my system! WC 228

The one thing I wish was overturned was the ruling on increasing the viability of a user OL in the NSFL. Currently, there is more value to being in the DSFL as a premier OL compared to the rest of the OL than there is in the NSFL where there is a steep TPE curve to beat out the OL bots. Another thing I wish was overturned was my decision to retire my linebacker Brian Mills a season or two too early because I think that I was on track for a HOF career but I had lost out on a few hundred TPE by not being active during the summer of 2018 but every summer theres a bit of a drop in earnings on my end and I think I can say the same thing about this year, I wish I had been more active during the summer so I could lay more pancakes in the NSFL at a higher TPE level even though im still in Tijuana chasing DSFL rings with my hometown boys because nothing is cooler than paving the way for these rookies coming into the league as runningbacks and making their time more enjoyable in the DSFL.

I can't remember the exact game but there are a lot of times where the sim will frustratingly have the De's wobbling right around the QB and yet somehow he's able to get the ball out. One of the biggest issues is when as a DE I get pressure on the QB and then right before I make contact he dinks it to the middle of the field for 5 or so yards. This wouldn't be an issue if it didn't happen repeatedly in a drive to the point where I'm practically driving their offense down the field slowly not being able to really get the stats I deserve. One hilarious play was when I got clean off the line and chased the QB backward down the field until I got close and dinked it down the field, unfortunately for the WR who caught that ball he was quickly tackled for a negative thirty-four yard reception. Would have loved that sack but it was great being apart of that crazy play. TIJ isn't going to be beat through conventional means as their ringer O-linemen means that they'll always be able to dominate the DSFL caliber dline for those short-run gains. If I could do anything I would have them be forced into the NSFL to replace the Olinebots somehow. But that's a can of worms that no one wants to go over again.

Earlier this season in the DSFL, maybe a couple weeks ago, a trade occurred that was basically unannounced. (Why that was I'm not too sure. Are DSFL trades not important enough to warrant a topic in the trades subforum?) Tijuana traded away a 2nd round pick and 3 players for Palm Beach's 1st pick in the upcoming draft. On paper this seems like a great call on Tijuana's part; this next draft doesn't figure to be nearly as deep and impressive as the S18 draft. Might as well collect the most top 6 picks as you can since who knows how many players will stay active. I do, however, take issue with it.

I didn't know or see Troy Bryant at all, and Dingus Hunk seemed to be exactly as the label reads. But Groovy Johnson? That guy was the coolest motherfucker I had ever met in the Luchadore locker room. Guy was a blast to hit the Tijuana nightclubs with, and we had numerous beach disc golf bro-downs where we bonded and had some deep heart-to-heart conversations. This man had such a profound perspective on life. He knew that we as a society tend to take things too seriously and sometimes we just need to relax and enjoy life and accept it for what it is. A light-hearted approach. Sure, at times he smelt like a month old moldy piece of Gouda cheese, and his nappy afro was untamed, asymmetrical, and frequently nested it's own biosphere of various insects and microbes that made some retch, but I loved that man. He taught me so much and I miss his presence in the locker room.

If by chance we don't come home with the S17 Ultimini, you'll know that the true reason would be we traded away Groovy J.

If I had a chance to redo anything it would be to figure things out earlier. When I first joined it was a bit overwhelming, so I wanted to take things easy. But this lead me to passing on some early TPE opportunities, mainly some of the Ultimus Week stuff. I can't help but feel like if I were further along in TPE by the time the draft rolled around, I wouldn't have slipped into the fifth round. Not that I regret ending up with the Marshals. My pride just wanted me to have gone there in an earlier round.

More recently, I would like to redo a lot of my predictions. Perhaps it is because I haven't been paying as much attention to the NSFL as I have the DSFL, but I feel like I have left a lot of TPE on the board with my poor predictions. My strategy has mainly been to stick with home teams, which I though was generally a smart idea. But I can't help but feel like whenever I stray from that formula it goes wrong. If I had to guess or actually look it up, I would say I have gotten more games wrong than right.

I would love to see a do over on last year’s playoff game against the Philadelphia Liberty. I am not sure how much it different the outcome would be since it was actually the second time in the season that they scored more than 45 points against our defense but it would be great to see since our defense was actually really good and it just didn’t seem logical that it happened. Torenson had a good game averaging 5 yards a carry with a long of 26 yards but it wasn’t near enough as he never found the end zone once. His counterpart Farley Hank only had 22 yards and averaged 2.4 yards per carry but found pay dirt 3 times for the Liberty! I don’t know if we are allowed to suggest outcomes or if we simply get to dream about a do over but I would have loved to see Sam Torenson carry his team on his back come playoff time. One of his huge carry games to control the clock with 2 scores would have been the perfect ending to the perfect rookie season. I think a more apt final would have been 31 to 27. I would have loved to move on to the Ultimus and take our chances against the Arizona Outlaws.

If I had the magic power to overturn one event in my magical DSFL career it would be last season's Ultimini game between the Portland and Tijuana. Tijuana had the better record heading into that game so they had home field advantage but the Pythons were riding high and had beat Tijuana at their house earlier in the season. Heading into the game the Pythons had the #1 defense in the league and had DSFL legend Franklin Armstrong at QB. Everything was looking good for the Pythons heading into the game but that excitement quickly disappeared as the Sims home team advantage took over and Tijuana dominated from whistle to whistle. That loss really stung and the Pythons really thought we had a solid chance to win it all heading into that game. I'm still convinced that if yo simmered that game 10 times the Pythons would have won the majority of the times. We were just the better team regardless of what their record said. On the bright side this season's Pythons are even better than last years and we are out for blood on this Ultimini run. Last year stung but this year no one will be getting in the Pythons way. Ultimini or BUST

To be honest, I would overturn my decision to slack on training for Avery Woodham. In the DSFL he was an absolute beast, but true to what I had said... My full activity began to trickle do to the commitments in other leagues and time in real life. I can't imagine what his career could have been.

Starting for Tijuana and walking away with two Ultimini Championships was just the start. Being in the running for defensive awards both season, my career looked promising after winning the defensive line top player award in S9. It wasn't meant to be long term though... Drafted to a team with a player I didn't want to share a locker room with, I quickly was moved and really lost much interest til Swag came a long and became my GM. This was the only real if only moment in my career. Woodham would eventually go on to win an Ultimus title and still in contention for another this season, but one can't help but wonder what if I could have just pushed him a bit further. Maybe awards... More championships... Definitely a longer career. At the end of the day, I loved the prospect of what he could have been but definitely wished he could have fulfilled those shoes and reached his full potential.

Wow this is a very interesting prospect to think about over turning and it is crazy tough to decide because I had a lot of tough losses with the Baltimore Hawks and the Baltimore Hawks are the toughest team in the league as far as bad breaks but when I think about wanting to over turn anything it would be the Season 3 season in the Ultimus because the Hawks were the best team in the league who didn't have multi/ cheaters and that stuff. The Hawks faced the Arizona Outlaws in the Ultimus game and the Hawks had the 2nd best record in the league and handily beat the other NSFC for a shot at the Ultimus. The Hawks had also beaten the Orange County Otters and beat the Outlaws during the regular season. It's a very unfortunate thing that the cheaters lead by a bunch of multis were the ones who won and if I could over turn that result and suspend all those players including Tuck for the Ultimus I would 100% do that and then the Hawks wouldn't be as cursed as they were and have to wait til Ultimus X to finally win it. SO yea that would be what I over turn and now I am sad thinking about that so thanks for that Big Red . 223
