This year for Halloween I’m dressing up as a big fat baby but wearing an Antonio Brown Jersey. I never really got the premise of Halloween being scary as I usually just go for funny costumes. Antonio Brown is the biggest baby in sports right now and it’s just hilarious to watch. Past years I’ve gone as Fat tinkerbell, whoopie cushion, and Duff Man. I’m not creative enough to make costumes so I'll throw like $50 to a pre made costume. I can see Zach Hall showing up as Frankenstein. Richard D'Attoria V is a werewolf. Fast and aggressive and just wants to attack people. Thursday night I’m going to be doing what I do every night, light up a J and watch some TV or play the new Cod. Living in an apartment building I don’t have to hand out candy or anything. I just have to give the caretaker a big bag of candy and that’s it. Even then I don’t give much candy because the amount of kids that actually come are disappointing now. My area used to get 400-500 kids a year and bow its roughly 60-70 which is upsetting seeing the Halloween spirit could be dead soon.

This Halloween I will be a hurricane named Katrina. I say this because I’m going to blow up soon and also the last game of the season is against Nola. You already know what happened there, I’m gonna repeat that on the field as well. Not only will I blow up Nola, I’m going to destroy them and maybe keep them out of the playoffs. The secondary is going to break like a levee and I will blow past them. Nothing but destruction and bodies will be left in my path. Another option would be just wear my Chicago uniform and let Stan Francisco throw my the ball. Prob get more catches that way than when I wore the Nola one. I haven’t really decided yet. My kids want me to be Sponge Bob Squarepants.
As for what I’ll be doing Thursday night, prob just putting in some work on the field and in the film room preparing for our next opponent. I was invited to a few Halloween parties but I don’t really do those anymore. I’ll take the kids around the neighborhood so that I have some candy to eat while I watch film though. That’s about all I have planned for this Halloween though. Nothing spectacular.
Note: I’m sorry if anyone was affected and this hurts you in any way. It was more a play towards Nola who just traded me. I’ll take it down if it bothers some as this isn’t a laughing matter in real life. No harm meant.

There's always a major decision that comes around every year during Halloween and that decision is whether you want to dress up as something scary, something realistic or something funny. Well this year Mervin Leonard decided he was going to dress up as the funniest thing he could think of - a Wide Receiver. We all know that wide receivers are the biggest divas and the biggest whiners around - especially when they have to face the Yellowknife Wraiths! The costume will consist of a tootoo, bricks for hands, a tiara, a kleenex box (since wide receivers are always crying) and a football helmet.
Merv is looking forward to revealing his costume at the Wraiths Halloween party on Thursday night.. hopefully his GM and good friend Nate Swift (who happens to be a wide receiver) doesn't take too much offence to the costume. If things go sideways and Merv gets kicked out of the party for offending his offensive teammates Merv plans on going trick or treating which will be way more fun anyway. If that's the case Merv may be calling in sick on Friday due to a terrible stomach ache from eating too many full sized candy bars since that is all the people of Yellowknife hand out!

I am still kind of up in the air about my costume. So I went out last weekend and got about 3 that I could choose from. The first one is a burgundy suit and some face paint so I can dress up as the Joker from the new Joker movie. The reason I was kind of hesitant about this one is the fact that I KNOW there will be THOUSANDS of people dressed up as the same thing. I know that it is hard to be original when there are so few costumes out there that people will instantly recognize and you won't have to spend forever explaining who or what you are supposed to be, but I do like to stand out a bit. I probably won't end up wearing this one, but it is good to have in case my other ideas fall flat and I want a quick and recognizable option.
My next costume is a bit more original, especially if you are above a certain age. Since I play on a team who's mascot is a snake, I figured I could pull of the COBRA Commander costume. The old school one with the blue uniform and the blue hood. I also bought the helmet with the mirrored face mask, but I am partial to the blue hood in hopes that it has more ventilation and won't get too hot. Hopefully the COBRA insignia on the hood and the uniform make it easier to recognize and achieve my goal of not having to explain the costume.
Lastly, I figured I would finally pull off the costume I have waited the longest to do. I went out and got the sumo diaper and face paint with a wig and hope to go as E. Honda from Street Fighter. He is my namesake so it would be pretty cool to pull this one off.
So I have a pretty big decision to make, but I am leaning towards E. Honda or COBRA Commander. We will see how the night goes.

I've done my fair share of Halloween costumes over the years, some have definitely been better than others. One of my favorites was coordinating with a group of friends to have one person dress up as the president while the rest of us were in the Secret Service getup. We'd have a few people scout ahead of the main group while the rest pulled guard duty, it was a pretty fun night.
I don't know what I'm going to do for Halloween. Everyone is probably going to do stuff like The Joker, Fat Thor, but I have a few different ideas in my mind for what I'm going to do. One of the most likely is dressing up as a Stalker from Shadows of Chernobyl. I have a lot of kit, like harnesses, holsters, even a plate carrier along with some cheapo steel plates. A large backpack, maybe an instrument and a gasmask will help me round out the look. Of course, I'm not fluent in Russian, so maybe I just go for a generic wasteland survivalist look instead. I have some old airsoft guns that I haven't used in quite a few years, I'll probably bring those along with me in some capacity. Either that or I just don't go at all and take a nap instead, which is a very real possibility.

A lot of people have asked Laszlo Forty-Two what exactly he was planning on wearing this halloween. He just loves to dress up. Some suggestions were to dress him up as the Terminator or perhaps someone hunting down the Predator. One person even suggested dressing up as the twin of Danny DeVito which would be a great costume on most people but this is either far too basic for The Laz or he has already done them.
No, this Halloween Laszlo Forty-Two will be dressing as an undercover cop pretending to be a Kinder garden teacher! It will look just genuinely amazing and it also comes with an added benefit of when he will eventually see Thots dressing up as slutty schoolgirls he can either then roleplay with them and fuck the hell out of them or more realistically give them detention and tell them about how this will mess them up later in life. A fine line but someone has to help these Thots. Why not the bloke who can snap them in half with 1 arm.
Hopefully no-one dresses up as a bad guy though as Laszlo will take his undercover cop role very seriously and just for added effect may say a few random out of context lines like "It's naht a tumoor". Halloween should be interesting.

Acho has never really been one to celebrate Halloween but with all the Hawk and Python hate lately he decided to be a little creative this year. First, he decided to make his house into an enormous hawk nest - snake pit hybrid. He figured filling it with actual hawks and Pythons would would be very spooky for the children of the neighborhood. Next comes the treats he’s planning on handing out. People with decent costumes get delicious bird pellets as treats, while children who go above and beyond get mice. All of this already is sure to make Acho the Halloween craze of the neighborhood, but that’s not all. Acho invested in gene therapy to be transformed into a human/hawk/python hybrid.
Acho also helped dress up his Hawk teammates! For Eco, he chose a line of code for reasons which are obvious. Raven was given the choice of a goat since that’s what he his. Duilio is dressed up as a playoff win, which from his time at SA, is as spooky as it gets. L’Alto is too old to dress up as he’ll scare the children. PigSnout is a ghost since he’s super mysterious and always hidden. Scorp does not get to wear a costume and should feel bad.
