Hanyadi had a ton of work to do during this offseason. Two seasons in the DSFL meant he had to work twice as hard to be ready for the rigors of the big leagues. Readjusting to the cold after two years down in San Antonio was one of the big ones. Unlike Bjorn, who decided to go to Everest for some reason, Hanyadi decided to go somewhere close. He travelled up to Fairbanks, Alaska, asking Drake to come with him so the two of them could build up some synergy. The training was hard, as it had to be. Hanyadi wasn't in the DSFL anymore, he couldn't just coast on his talent anymore like he did last season. Hard training in the cold allowed him to adjust to the conditions he would be in while playing in Yellowknife.

It sucked for the first few days, but having his teammate beside him allowed him to push harder during this session and the two of them managed to build up a good amount of synergy. After this freezing cold week of training, Hanyadi was far more confident going into Yellowknife. His body had re-adjusted to the cold of the north, and was ready to seize the year and make it the best of his career so far.

It was bitter sweet in Austin. Not many expected us to even sniff the playoffs, let alone get in. If you believe in moral victories, then this outcome could be skewed as positive. Myself and my teammates, however, take very little solace in moral victories, so the early playoff exit was stinger for us. For the most part, we will carry that loss with us until we secure our first win in season 19.

Over the off-season, we had a big position change in the Linebacker corps, with Net switching over to the offensive side of the ball. I took it upon myself to invite some of the other defensive guys over to my house, just to bond a bit and get comfortable communicating with everyone. Once that wrapped up, I was in the gym and the film room pretty constantly in order to gain any edge I could for the upcoming season. I will be looking to improve my contribution on the field by not just being a foundational piece on the field, but by also expanding my role as a team leader in the locker room. I want to make each one the guys on the defense better. To do that, I will first have to make myself better. So I also spent some time in the off season attending some leadership seminars and improving myself mentally. Hopefully this will all pay off and we can bring some wins back to Austin.

What do we do to forget about last season? Absolutely, nothing. It definitely brought us together though. We had frequent team outings and it always was surrounded by what we could do to be better as a team and not go on a big stage and let down our fans ever again like that. Management trim the fat on our team. We got more lean. We got more flexible. Considering we were already one of the best rosters ever put together It's a shame that we didn't get a championship last season, but we had multiple Late night sessions looking at game film together and what we can do to be better. And we're using that as a motivation for this season. This is Revenge season. We plan on making a statement against everybody. Management doesn't want employees working for them that wants to forget about disappointment that we had wants to forget about going on the big stage and putting up ours performance of the Season. No, we need to learn from it. We need to remember that we need to not let it happen again. We disappointed each other on the field and through this off-season we gained closer bonds with one another and now we don't want to let each other down more than anything else.

The goddamn knows how many times kicker of the year Kulture Fulture stopped caring about any offseason related stuff for a long time ago (training, studying tactics and just the game in general). Last offseason wasn't an exception. Since like S15 his offseason looks like: never bothering to show up to LR (like he ever was doing that anyways lol), partying because of reasons and just coming to the award show to take his awards.

From the recent offseason it looked like Chicago isn't going to compete. Kulture also felt that so his ignorance towards workout reached the all time high. The rumors has it that he is slowly declining and his leg isn't that strong that is used to be. Well, it doesn't looks like he ever was bothered about that. He only showed up once to the Butchers' training camp. To be fair, this was also the only time when he showed some diligence and wasn't laying on the ground with some lazy ass moves.

And what do you mean forgetting about the last season? Kulture is not going to forget seasons when he was receiving awards. So pretty much all of them. And he's prepared on grabbing yet another one, whether it's kicker or punter of the year. Or both, that could be double awesome.

In the offseason, Jay Cue likes to get away from football. And what better way to do that than to leave the US and travel to his home country, Portugal. He tried to get some teammates to travel with him, but apparently "Portugal is not good enough to travel to". Whatever, your loss, stay with your hillbilly families in god forsaken Wisconsin.
So, all by himself, Jay travelled, ate, drank, partied and slept a lot all over his country. For him, offseason is all about doing the stuff you cannot do during the DSFL/NSFL season. And have any of you tried the Portuguese cuisine? If you did, you know what I am talking about. Besides, this offseason allowed Jay to watch his favorite soccer club, SL Benfica, live. Imagine being on the VIP box after being invited by the club and getting more attention than the club players on the field... Football is a growing sport there and he is considered as the ambassador for it.
After 2 weeks of "dolce fare niente", Jay got his STD tests back (which he as usual, excelled), and travelled once again to Portland to start the preseason for the third and final season with the team. Certainly a different vacation time than most of the league players, but trust me, not many enjoy it like the "Portuguese Phenom".

Venus Powers spent the entire offseason with her Portland Python teammates, which she described as a major step up from the comparatively dismal culture of the doomed Norfolk Seawolves. The whole team spent a lot of time on team bonding, especially all of the new rookies. But it wasn’t all play. A ton of time and effort went into building the reigning champions from the ground up - daily film sessions, grinding practices that went on for hours, vigorous exercise and travel regimens. They may have won the last Ultimini, but the league is still a tough road for Portland, and teams like Tijuana and Myrtle Beach pose potentially major threats for the Pythons’ title dreams. The DSFL may be the minor leagues, but the players put in as much effort as the big dogs up top - with the added incentive to show off for the upcoming draft. For Venus, this means that her snubbing in the draft plays a big part in her mindset. “I believe I was the top prospect in the entire draft, at least a first round talent, so being picked at 20th stings,” the Python kicker stated. “But I’m glad I am Portland with this team and I’m excited to see where the season goes.” [211 words]

Welcome to Chicago, where the Butcherz worked incredibly hard over the off season. Several players spent their off-seasons honing their craft and getting prepared to ball the fucc out this season. Here is a little bit of an insider on how some of us prepared.

Several hours were spent in the lab for the WRs who spent copious amounts of time working on foot speed, agility, their hands and they also spent a lot of time flipping and catching bricks. Literally and figuratively if ya know what Sweet is talmbout yahurrrrd? The catching of the bricks help soften the receivers hands and the flipping of the bricks help get hey MF money up, because as we all know, chickens are expensive and if you paying more than 13... you a biiiiiiiiiitchhhhh. But Sweet digresses. So aside from doing the normal preparations for WRs, we also spent a lot of time out in south beach living it up. All work and no play makes for a very dull Sweet. The partying also helps clear the mind and releases unnecessary tension from the stess of the upcoming season because once the season hits, that means we are all aboot that business, boss. So we spent a lot of time focusing on the mond and the hands as well as making cash this off season. So when you see the Chicago Recevers this year, plz be ready.
