Bex Punishment and NOLA Tampering Accusations - TomHanks - 01-25-2020
Well things sure did get exciting while I was on my flight. I feel it important to comment here since there have been some colourful accusations. As I have said since the beginning, I wanted a full and open investigation with a fine tooth comb because nothing happened and I have nothing to hide.
First and foremost, I figure I’ll address the screenshot that appears as deleted for me but given context seems to be the one from mine as DD’s PMs. While the phrase used was “guilty of tampering”, that wasn’t me admitting that we had tampered anyone, nor is it the smoking gun people seem to think it is. You may have picked up through this process that my former very close friend can be volatile at times. In the events leading up to that screenshot, he had accused us of tampering, blown up our entire group of friends, and demanded a trade from New Orleans. I, not wanting to poke the bear immediately following that, didn’t feel like splitting hairs and saying “because you think we tampered”. That would’ve set him off even further, and I didn’t want to upset my friend at that time.
Secondly, the deleted messages. I’ll be very straight forward about this, I’m very upset Bex elected to delete anything. I cannot understand the logic, and I do not understand why she did what she did. I cannot condone or justify that action. While I regret the joke, there is no part of me that believes it was tampering. It was as follows:
Bex makes the comment about CK threatening violence against anyone who tampered Bex. I, deciding to try to make light of DD’s accusation of tampering and the absurd idea that Ck was going to beat someone up, sent the following:

Was it a smart idea or a good joke? No. Should I have made it? Probably not, especially now that I know how volatile DD really is. But at the time I thought we were in a place where joking about the fight would make the transition back to normal better.

That's doesn't seem like a joke worth deleting. Especially when compared to everything that DD released. Regardless of any proof of actual tampering, creating a server with the purpose of shit talking those you call "friendos" and DELETING EVIDENCE seconds before turning it over should tell you whether or not Bex can be trusted as commissioner.

It takes so much to run this league and foster a good community. To just think anyone can step up and dedicate the amount of time it takes to do this is a bit naive. Its badly timed drama and it doesn't negate the good Bex has already done for the league and the time dedicated. It also seems this had nothing to do with her position as commish, as it happened quite a bit before then.

I agree with everyone saying it shouldn’t have been deleted wholeheartedly. It was a ridiculous thing to do.
Re: the creation of the server, that was S18 server. It was created as such. These screenshots are from a chat in there that some days eclipsed all of rookie chat and could compete with general chat at times in terms of message count. It wasn’t created as a shit talking ring. At times it was used that way. But l assure you it was mostly just for us to chat and have fun in.
