(S22) - PT2 - Lazy Days - ValorX77 - 05-04-2020
Videl San does not do that much when she is not practicing for developmental Simulation Football league games or, taking part of practices at the snake pit, the home of the Portland pythons. The first thing she does is obviously answer emails from fans, mostly from her home country of japan, where she is loved by almost everyone. The next thing she does is obviously video games, her escape from reality treatment, she mostly plays super smash brothers, where she mains as mewtwo as she does not care about tier lists or criticism of her play by online forums or even her fans over in japan. The next thing she does when she is not on the field is make sushi rolls, one of her personal favorite hobbies, her personal favorite rolls are the red dragon, spicy yellowtail, and shark rolls. Another hobby she does is hunting in the Pacific Northwest, as she is licensed to hunt Deer, Elk, Moose, Bears, and evening Coyotes! She uses a bow and arrow to hunt, and frequently wears a camouflage suit to disguise herself from being spotted by wildlife that could ambush her. During one hunt, she fell into a pit of Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes, and managed to get out without getting bitten!

When not working out, going over the playbook, or practicing Greedy Sly likes to give back to his local community as much as possible. During his rookie season with the London Royals, Sly has been working on building several literacy programs for underprivileged kids in the greater London area. Alongside these initiatives he has also begun working with several after school programs, ranging from athletic to science clubs, to help fund the kids further education. As a child of a family with less then average income growing up, being able to affect the lives of the youth in his community is a large priority for him.
When he is not involving himself in his charitable aspirations, Greedy enjoys reading books or listening to Audiobooks. Greedy's thirst for knowledge is strong, specifically in the historical genre. Greedy enjoys reading about great generals of the past, leading their troops into combat. He takes the lessons he learns from these anecdotes and tries to apply them best he can to his performance on the field. While he may not necessarily have the best stats, Greedy is constantly seeking to become a better leader of men and women, both on the field and in everyday situations. He finds that learning from others experiences helps him accelerate his own development in those areas.

Lazy days, also known as every day for Tree, are my favorite thing in the known universe. There’s nothing better than slacking off and kicking your feet up and watching 17 hours of Netflix and ignoring responsibilities. My hobbies are the subject of much scrutiny and the occasional police investigation but lets just skip over that second part for now shall we? Tree has several hobbies, including sleeping, eating cereal, drinking vodka, eating cereal and drinking vodka at the same time and being an alleged serial killer. Alleged. Nothing is proven. Stop asking.
To give a brief rundown about what Tree does on her day off, we acquired her daily schedule from a torn up piece of paper that we found in her dumpster next to a bloody knife and some empty cereal boxes. It read “Sleep” from about 6AM to 6PM, then after that it said “Cereal and Party” from 7PM to 5AM so we know that she likes to have fun when she’s not on the field. A self-described “party monster, emphasis on the party” Tree is a fanatic. Often seen at the local college frat houses doing keg stands, playing beer pong, throwing human shaped garbage bags into rivers, and having a grand old time with everything and everyone. To quote Tree, “Every day is a lazy day if you make it.”

Leeroy Jenkins has a neighbor and her name is Mrs. Beauchanon, or Mrs. B as she prefers to be called. She had a husband who passed during the original Covid-19 crisis that happened like a decade ago and she never remarried so she's all alone most days. When Leeroy moved in next door after he got that sweet payday after the DSFL draft, she was the only person who knocked on his door to welcome him to the neighborhood. Leeroy felt bad that she'd been alone for so long and she's also close to 80 years old so he tries to help her out with chores from time to time. Mrs. B is actually teaching Leeroy how to bake as well. Once a week, usually on Wednesdays, Leeroy goes over in the afternoon after practice and with the Colorado Yeti game on in the background (she's a huge Yeti fan), she'll teach him the finer points on the different types of flours, or how long and at what temperature to bake whatever delicious thing that are creating that day. The day is usually ended on the front porch with a large glass of sweet tea and a slice of whatever they made. Wednesdays are the best day.

In Braxton's freetime he will spend it working out and maintaining a healthy blood pressure, it's not easy being a big guy and requires a certain amount of movement to keep all the levels dialed in. Sinclair will be out running trails in the bayou or doing yoga with his girlfriend. Of course his program is a trade secret and the details of his gym are kept a secret. Now if we're talking leisure Braxton can be known to show up at his local barcades to watch bands play live shows or shoot to the top of the leaderboards. At home, Braxton loves to build pc's and design his mancave according to his current team's color scheme, right now it's blue and grey to help support Norfolk mentally even in his leisure. As well as being a gamer Braxton can be quite the cinephile and his knowledge of films can be quite extensive down to camera angling and editing choices in movies. Braxton's favorite movie right now can't be singled down to one single one but a collective of detective films such as Vice Inherent, Prisoners, The Nice Guys, or a recent one like Knives Out. There are dark spots in his private time though that no one truly knows what Mr. Sinclair gets up to, but as far as a privacy can be considered let's hope it has nothing to do with alchemy.

“You see that right there? You can get about 15 eggs a week no problem”
Keppler looked over to me, trying to gauge how surprised I'd be. Seeing the largest chicken coop I’ve ever seen in an Urban area. He has quite a few personal hobbies outside of football...hoarding chickens seems to be the most unusual. There's no law about Livestock in the suburb of Portland that he lives in, actually quite a few families around here have a few goats, chickens definitely, and even one house has a horse.
“And we are talking about little white eggs you get at the grocery store, these are large large eggs you only need two, not the three or four you would need by going to Kroger”. He picks up the egg, about the size of a seven-year-old’s fist. He hands me three more and tells me to help him bring him into the workshop.
“This is where the magic happens,” he says as we walk into the Thousand square-foot Workshop. it's modest but has enough tools to make an entry-level woodworker jealous. alongside the walls are several shelves of scrap wood all purple heart while not in thin pieces of things that he has made in the past. He shows the cutting boards, bird houses, planters all the rookie stuff like that in the middle of the workshop however is his next project. “This is the best thing I've done to date.” It's impressive. It looks like a dining room table that he's building, it has layered wood out and looks like enough epoxy to make a project three times over. The shine on it it's something to behold, you can see the other half of the room just by looking at it.
“I have one more coat to put on it and then I will be finished can't wait to finally finish it.” I asked if he's going to sell it. He simply responds “would you give up one of your kids for adoption?”
I guess that’s a no.

When I’m not on the field or practicing I spend my days at the Skuff family farm, contributing to their many side projects and alternate revenue streams. We recently started up a special hand sanitizer production facility. Now the bad news is that some folk have been drinking the product, leading to dizziness, dehydration, having a great time, motor impairment, and other side effects. We might need to make away from our mason jar packaging.
I also like to head on down to the corner store and pick up a couple 24 packs of Bud Heavy to get me through the weekend, say hi to all the guys that hang out outside the store, sometimes even throw them a can or two.
I don’t spend too much time out at bars but when I do go it’s always a good time. Sometimes they have Bud Premium on tap and I manage to get a little tipsy. If I get too drunk I try to play pool and darts but I keep breaking the sticks and throwing the darts through people.
And last but not least spending time wrestling with my brothers in the fields never gets old. We accidentally broke Richard’s neck one time but a little country medicine fixed him right up (watch out for those doctors, they kill you fast as they heal you.)
