Bank "Credit" Announcement - Grapehead - 07-20-2017

What if users included "ready to grade" in their post. Then your graders do a forum search in the media section for the phrase "ready to grade" and then just grade away. If you narrow the search to just the media section, and move graded articles, you should only be pulling articles that contain the phrase "ready to grade".

OR

What if you just make a "ready to grade" thread, where users post a link to their article when it is ready to grade. Then you graders just go through that thread when they are on grading duty.

I don't like the first option because I think you'll get false positives with people who put in "Not ready to grade" and youll miss people who do "ready to be graded" or "ready for grading", etc.

Second option could work..Let me think about the specifics.

I think the second option is a good bet tbh. Your graders can just edit the posts in the thread with "Graded" kind of like how the bank edits in "Processed". Keeps your graders from having to manually check any threads as well.

I think it might be even better to just delete the post saying ready to be graded, then the post would never get to like 100 pages long or whatever and graders wouldn't have to search for the start of ungraded links. But then you lose the paper trail....

Making the author wait for discussion to finish is not a good system considering players depend on this money to train with. I didn't realize the media was purposely not graded to accommodate conversation, but that explains a lot. I do like the idea of nurturing conversation but couldn't you just leave the thread unlocked and move it once graded?

This is what im saying. Im not making a mountain out of a mole hill. Im being logical.

This. Ive also offered my services.

Sorry for the triple post but this 2nd option is genius.

A) We aren't hiring more graders because we are not behind, we are at exactly what our goal for grading is. I had about 20 applicants for 2 spots, not sure why you guys are so salty about not being picked.

B ) Even after this change, people can still go into debt for their weekly training. The change by the bank would only delay their ability to purchase equipment, not training.

C) Once we have specifics figured out a new method could be implemented. However, even with that there will be delays between when the author posts to when it's graded to when it's deposited in the bank.

Your goal was to have a player with 6 items awaiting grading? Interesting goal.

I get that nothing is being denied long term, but I can't go back to a game that I already played and retroactively make a tackle.
