RE: S24 Rules Summit Results - Air Crou - 08-07-2020 Quote:3. Implement a formal external budget department tasked with tracking contracts. This would remove the burden of documenting signings in the current budget sheet from GMs, as well as streamlining the budget check process, allowing issues to be found early and resolved quickly. It would also streamline the assembly of the FA list. This rule would require the reworking of rules II.D.1.d to remove team punishment for the specified error Where do we apply for said department? :eyes: RE: S24 Rules Summit Results - Memento Mori - 08-07-2020 Just here to echo Frost and Numbers' sentiments about auto-retiring players at or below 57 TPE at the ISFL Draft. If some GMs don't want to make their last few draft picks, and some members of the Events GFX team (which, to be clear, does amazing work) don't want to deal with the players at or below 57 TPE, can we at least have them enter the league as UDFAs instead of being auto-retired? On top of the examples that Frost referenced, an S22 57 TPE guy came back to the league and to the discord today and made an update. What if when he came back and opened his player page he found himself retired rather than a free agent? This seems like going too far in the other direction. Apparently this is incorrect though (I have records of this happening in six different drafts from season 5 to 19, btw) and I'm honestly not sure why you'd want everyone to be drafted personally. All actives, sure. But if someone is inactive, why do they need to be drafted? Especially if this adds work for multiple people? I don't get the logic here at all. Seems to me that the sensible option would be to just allow players to go undrafted. Like we have before. Also, this rule caught my attention: "Department heads may propose one (1) rule change per rules summit." As I'm technically still lead historian, this means I can propose rule changes, yes? This allows for Weekly Predictions to come back without changing the overall TPE a player can earn each season. Apologies as I am semi-IA here and just saw this change. I was a full time updater last season and earned my full PT and Trivia pass. I am updating now and was counting on that already being earned, there for didn't look closely at the tasks throughout the season. Is there some sort of compensation available considering I already earned the Trivia TPE for this season and it was pulled out? The PT pass covers PT opportunities that exist including PT in the new extended schedule. Thank you for your inquiry, Bex RE: S24 Rules Summit Results - Jonny2x - 09-14-2020 (09-13-2020, 09:09 PM)bex Wrote:Hmm, interesting. I was legit told if I update for a full season I would make a salary and my PTs and Trivia were covered. I updated for that season and the trivia is just being pulled out of the deal? Do you think it would be fair to just decide not to give me a salary for work I already did as well? Seems like this needs some more thought. Feels like being lied to. I see what you are trying to say by it only meaning PTs that exist but that shouldn't be changeable AFTER I have done the work.(09-13-2020, 07:52 AM)Jonny2x Wrote:(08-06-2020, 02:02 PM)bex Wrote: 11.
