At the Birddogs' practice facility in Richardson, TX, a small group of reporters gather around the locker of new Dallas Quarterback, Christian Marciano

Reporter: Christian, your first game in the DSFL is in the books. Can you tell us a bit about what you thought about your performance and what you will take away from it to improve your game going forward?

Marciano: What do I think about my performance? I think I let the team down. We went into Tijuana to play against a team that we are more talented than in every aspect of the game, and I went out and had twenty incompletions. That's just not acceptable. I expect myself to complete at least 90% of my throws, especially against a team of no-talent nobodies like the Luchasnores. I mean hell, you see how bad their corners are? My boys Escanor and Ted absolutely torched those scrubs, and if I actually played more like a Marciano and less like a Laughlove, my boys would have gone off for at a minimum 300 yards each.

So, what can I take away from the game to improve going forward? I can take away that Tijuana is a team full of bustas, and that the only reason we lost is because the damn referees were obviously in their pockets. Shit, we outplayed them in so many aspects of the game but over and over again they kept getting bailed out by the zebras. We lose to a whole lotta home cookin and not much else. You shouldn't be asking me what I learned, when really you should ask what those buckos down in Tijuana learned and how many lucky rabbits feet they got shoved in their jocks.

Well, being that I am back in the DSFL for the first time in a while, it’s a little different for me. But I am going to shout out my old team Berlin Firesalamanders who are kicking ass and taking names. Wishing I would have hung on for one more season as an OL to get that chip. But as for my most current player. We are looking solid. Don’t want to over sell it too much but I think we are going to be on pace for a fantastic offensive display and I am looking forward to my Running Back breaking some team or DSFL records this season. I think the team is really going to surprise some people. We are looking mighty solid offensively and I think we should be able to hold our own defensively as well. TPE wise we are middle of the pack but that won't stop us from hopefully getting some sim luck and running our way to a ultimini.

Orange County has begun the season 1-3, which would put us on course for 4-12. The Otters are currently 6th in the ASFC, and would pick 2nd or 4th depending on tiebreakers if the draft order were to be finalised tomorrow. While I obviously hope we win more than 4 games, that kind of overall trajectory is what I'm expecting. This is pretty openly a rebuilding year for us, with us trading players and picks during the offseason for additional future draft picks. This is quarterback Suleiman Ramza's final season, with the intention being to call up Tron Carter from the Bondi Beach Buccaneers for Season 33. The overall project is more important than our win-loss record in S32. My player has had a very quiet start to the season, with the only notable statistical contribution through four games being a single pass defended. Defensive back statistics are notoriously unpredictable, but I find it hard to believe my season stats will be as bad as they currently project. (168 words)

Four weeks into the season, my team the Yellowknife Wraiths have started off poorly losing every single game to this point making us 0-4. We entered this season expecting to be near the bottom of our division. We played Berlin really close, who is 3-1 but ultimately, they were able to walk away with a two-point victory. I guess you can say we are par for the course so far, but we are hoping to win a few games this season as there are some winnable games on our schedule.
As for QB Dustin Parmelee, just four games into the season and he already had one game where everything clicked and he looked like the star QB the Wraiths were hoping for when they drafted me. That game would have been Week 2 vs Berlin where he had himself a performance worthy of offensive player of the week. He threw 25-41 for 330-yards 3 touchdowns and no picks bringing his rating to 110.8. Parm has also already seen the dark side of being a rookie in the ISFL and that would be playing a terrible game. In week four vs the Yeti and their excellent defense Parmelee put up some numbers truly worthy of a rookie. He passed for 23-44 for 257-yards no touchdowns 3 interceptions and a terrible 41.6 rating. Its gonna be a roller coaster like rookie season for sure.

Well there might be a few things to overreact to this early in the season. The first is that Philly is on an absolute tear. At this rate they'd only give up 200 points in the entire season? that's crazy. Last season the lowest points allowed by a team was 330 by the chicago butchers. The Philadelphia Liberty gave up 338 points. This season, the teams that they've played against are a combined 3-12 and happen to be all the worst teams in the league so far according to record. So yeah, I think it would be an absolute overreaction to say that this is sustainable. Its probably an overreaction to say that they even finish in the top half of their conference according to last season's standing and my own subjective view of talent on the team. So that's my bold prediction: the philadelphia liberty who are currently the leagues top and only undefeated team will not finish in the top half of the conference and will miss the playoffs.

I have just arrived here. A newly created player. Haven't even watch a game yet. I was just claimed by the Norfolk Seawolvs. I can't tell you win loss records or who has the best stats. I spite of the excitement of joining a new league and team, I need to keep my expectations to a minimum. I am a third string running back. I know this will most likely result in not having great stats and not being on the field too much. I am not the present,  I am the future. With the two running backs likely to depart for the ISFL next year, I likely will be a startr by then. My day will come.but it is not this day.I have accepted this position of ignominy. I will have to find joy in two things. The first is to silently grow into a quality player.the second is to celebrate the achievements of my teammates. If I can do those two things, I will have had a successful season.
