No, we will just use this thread. Three of the members of the league wanted no part of discord so this should be fine.

I gotta say, COMPETITIVE MODE IS BULLSHIT. On offense, the players actively ignore what you are telling them to do. I had a drive die because my RB, who I was running out of bounds, spun inside for two more yards leaving the clock going. I lost my game by one score, btw. On defense, they don't even backpedal without instruction. I had a CB let up a 70+ yd TD because he just stood still.

I really feel fucking cheated.

Im not sure blaming the game mode for the direction you spun is right. Spins, and any other moves, are all dictated by the direction you are pushing on the stick. Maybe you have the moves set to auto, or assist in the settings? I haven't had any issue with my corners covering, or backpedaling in any way, but if you have ball hawk off and changed to the player he would stop moving since you are then controlling him and without ball hawk he wouldn't move towards the ball for you.

I don't mean that I spun in the wrong direction. I didn't press spin at all. And I didn't change to the player. I'd been assigned to him pre snap and didn't see because he was off screen.

If it makes you feel better I had a 4th quarter 2 minute drive ended because Ryan Mallet is absolutely shit and can't make a throw to a receiver properly.
