S3 DSFL Awards Ceremony - HENDRIX - 10-31-2017

The Defensive player of the year wasn't nearly as clear as the previous award. There were two big time standouts that both could be argued for. We have met these players already as they were the top players at their respective positions. Let's refresh our memories:

DE Andres Waiters POR - 18 Sak, 10 TFL
LB Mcringleberry TIJ : 121 Tak, 8 Sak, 13 TFL, 2 INT, 13 PD

Andres Waiters POR takes the DPOY! The voters feel that his supreme pass rushing production gives him the edge.

We have now come to the final award of the night, the DSFL MVP voted on by the committee. The following four players all received votes for this honor. All four won the individual awards at their positions. They were:

LB Mcringleberry TIJ : 121 Tak, 8 Sak, 13 TFL, 2 INT, 13 PD
CB Mark Bowden TIJ - 64 tackles, 19 PDs, and 6 INTs
RB Shawn Ariel NOR - 10 GP, 982 yds, 8 TDs
QB Shawn Brady KCC - 3020 yards, 15 TDs

He does it again, Ariel NOR wins the biggest and best award yet! This puts a stamp on his incredible night and season.
